Garbage
this app is so bad for fellow athletes. there’s always glitches in the system where you can’t get any statistics. some functions you press on it and just get a blank screen gameday is just simply better.
Solid app - delivers stats right after the game
A reliable app that shows your stats live. It does mostly everything I want it to. Sure its menu can be a bit convoluted but it’s nothing that someone can’t figure out. I’ll take off one star for that, but that’s being conservative. I’d want to give it 4.5 I like that it also shows you top performing stats in your league (e.g. top scorers of the league, top 3 pointers made etc). I don’t think I’ve seen the app down even once, and I’ve been using it for 2 years now. Would recommend.
Very difficult to find your team
Please improve the search functionality - enter 3 letters to search and… honestly I haven’t used a search function that works this poorly since the early 90’s!!! Make it search for the keyword in every category; team, league, district, competition name, location… it’s not that hard to do…please. And also, make it possible to select another team in the same comp, league, location, so we don’t have to look for unknown names needles in haystacks. Thanks
More stats please!
I would want to see assist rebounds and blocks being added here this would make the whole thing better
So bad
Oh my days So bad, so laggy, depressing, and it’s just not overall nice, if u compare it to other apps like it, this is at the very bottom of the list
Too many bugs and fails to load
This App fails to load most of the time (asking to clear cache but still fails to load after clearing cache), lacks statistics and lacks the sophistication of more mature Apps (PlayHQ). UI / UX optimisation is a long way away.
Minor changes
This app is not as bad as the other responses say it is. It works well, gives you the exact time your match is starting, and it says your team’s full name, age group, and Div. This was the first Gameday app I have ever downloaded, and it’s a good first impression. Some minor tweaks and bug fixes are required, but otherwise it9s good.
Not showing right teams
This app has been pretty good for a while but for some reason for every basketball team (mine my sisters and stepbrothers) is just showing the same people from who knows where and it’s very annoying Please fix this by next Friday bc I want to see where i placed in league for scoring before I go on holiday and miss 3 games I have tried everything to fix it and nothing is working
needs work
would be great if we could unsubscribe from different associations’ news channels
Why so many haters
It is a really good game if you play basketball but I get it if you don’t play basketball. But like I was saying if you play basketball you can see your statistics and see who you are playing next. And it might be that i like basketball the most but basketball connect is really good.Plz wish me luck because I am going to be playing in the grand final bye.
Why does this even exist
Absolutely the worst app in sports. Nothing ever works, really bad menu and the updates just seem to make it even worse!
Seriously
App is fine, it gets me the info I need, everyone just needs to relax and ask more questions about issues ( if any ) before eagerly bagging something.
Get not delete notifications
There is literally no way to remove the notifications on this app. Even when you go into each message. So there is constantly a number sitting on the app to say you haven’t read something. Please fix it to have a clear all, or something.
New update rubbish
How come we can no longer see our kids player stats? It only shows rep not club. Useless
👍
It works. That’s enough
developers are working on this
In 2022 Basketball SA moved from GameDay to Basketball Connect. One issue with the new app was allowing all managers to be able to do split payments. They promised developers were working on this. Four years later the update is “developers are working on this” Wish we were using GameDay
Good app
This is a good app. Does what it needs to. The only thing I miss (we swapped over from Gameday) is the calendar integration for iPhones. Please consider adding this in future upgrades.
Ladder View is terrible
This app was imposed on us by the basketball league and pales into comparison with the previous one. No calendar sync and viewing the ladder is terrible. Very inefficient use of screen real estate.
Hard to select the team I want. And when I do it just cancels it
Not good
Good app overall
Ts app does all it has to do, i can check all my game scores and player statistics on ts app.
Worst sporting app
This is the worst app. Rarely works, I have a new current phone, takes day to update , even when admins post important updates. Disappointing
Impossible to update each season
Why is it do hard to update to the new season? Every single time- I can’t find the league, the team, right season. I always have to delete and reinstall. Just never easy.
Basketball
Just add stats where you can see who has the most points or FT or 3PT or 2pts otherwise it’s a decent app
Good for points and teams
As a player for the hawks, I find it very useful as I know who is the top scorer and it also helps me know what division I had made. It also it helps me with all of my stats and I could see what I have to I prove on. So as a player I rate this app an amazing 5 stars.
Atrocious!
This app is atrocious. I’ve tried to re-register my team for a comp we’ve been in for years and it’s not working, and I haven’t done anything different. Navigating through this app is poor, I’m disappointed the comp I’m in is using this app. Needs a massive upgrade. Maybe the need to pay attention to the reviews.
New level excitement
This app has brought a new level of excitement to basketball games. The real-time scores and ladder updates keep me on the edge of my seat.
Frustrating
App constantly failing during a basketball carnival A relative wanted to follow scores in the app, ended up giving up due app not easy to use. Do better!
Fantastic
Has made basketball games more accessible and manageable for me. It's a great addition to any basketball fan's arsenal.
Keeps removing all teams
App constantly removes all of my kids teams that I am following. I have to find and re-add them on a regular basis.
Terrible
Wanted to give it 0 stars
Terrible
Appalling platform, should be removed from the App Store.
