Difficult to navigate
App is counter intuitive, difficult to navigate, challenge to find information I need. Login loops and loops. Downright useless.
I think people just suck at remembering passwords
Super easy to use and see your recent lab results. Had zero issues logging in or using the service. Thanks for making this app so I can easily access my records. The low reviews are definitely technology impaired individuals. If you have your Alberta account details you won’t have any issues.
Ap never works
About 80% of the time, the ap errors and you can’t log in. Someone fix this garbage ap
Only in Alberta.
Only in Alberta would you find such quality work as this. Doesn’t do anything beyond booting up, and I’m sure it was brought to you massively over budget and only slightly past its expected due date. Are you people sure you’re ready to be your own country just yet? Are you absolutely sure you can handle that kind of responsibility? Because I dunno… Seems like it could be a mess.
Improving
A while ago, I downloaded this app and got so frustrated that I just deleted it and used the myHealth website instead. It seems to be a lot smoother now and contains all the same information and a few new things like symptom checkers and emergency wait times.
Bad Notifications
I will never participate in the journey section of this app. So I do not want push Notifications asking me to set up this information. I only want push Notifications when lab results or appointment appointments come in. Please add more granular notification configurations.

Why is it we pay people from our tax’s to turn out garbage ?? I need to access health records, and I can’t ,shameful.
App Needs Improvements
Every time I want to login it goes to error which is very frustrating. Why to make citizens to suffer more when they are already having health issues. Please fix it once for all.
Why release it?
This app hasn’t worked AT ALL since I created the new account. I’m now getting an error that reads: “You are currently in production mode. Enable development mode if you wish to use this debug page.” Thought the AB Gov was the developer?!
Auto log outs frustration
Seems to auto log out every 2-5 minutes even when actively using the app. Very frustrating to have to re-login.

Incomplete integration with Apple Health
Apparently it can read other data from Apple Health, but it does not write data to Apple Health which is what most people will want. Would be ideal to integrate completely with Apple Health so that could track all labs and other things in the much better designed and complete Apple Health app.

The Worst
The Alberta Government has really made a mess of all these apps. You can not enter your Alberta Health Care number even if you have it. The app demands verification prior to information entry. The phone help line has wait times over an hour. The first menu choice on the help line is asking about difficulties using the app, obviously because it is frustrating many people with dis functionality . The ID app needs this app to work yet is a separate app. What an expensive mess they have created.
