Worst customer service ever
Ok this is the worst game I have ever played. The game is fun but I lost my account just because they switched the app. Also if you don’t spend money on this game it’s trash.
Language Barrier
I’m only giving it 4 stars because it doesn’t have auto translate like some of the other games that I’ve played. It’s hard to compete in alliance based events when people can’t communicate.

Unaddressed Harassment and Poor Customer Support
I’ve been playing Palace Rule for a long time, but I’m deeply disappointed by how the game handles player safety. A certain player has been using multiple accounts to target and bully another gamer, repeatedly labeling them with offensive names and posting abusive comments meant to harass and shame. Despite reporting this issue multiple times, the customer service only responds with copy-paste replies and has taken no real action to stop this harmful behavior. It’s extremely disheartening to see such toxic actions go unchecked in a game with so many dedicated players. If the developers truly care about their community, they need to take harassment reports seriously and enforce clear rules to protect players

OK so I don’t usually write reviews but this felt necessary. I was attracted go to game because of the similarities to love Nikki just in an old style. It is what it is but no problem I have with this game is 1. Data saving issue. It is kind of sad that I have to make a third account and this is really a problem for people to spend money 2. Customer support. It’s nonexistent. 3. Now I don’t want to assume but for the people that lost their account in the group chat you Notice that there are people speaking what I believe is either Chinese or Mandarin. I Took a screenshot and translated it to find out that there are people selling accounts
Disappointed
The game is fun and addictive, but there are some things that should be fixed. There are, or used to be, 2 versions of the same game in the app store to download. They looked identical except for the Chinese characters after the English title. The version without the Chinese is now not even shown in the store, but still active. If you have a problem with that version, you are in trouble indeed. If you think you can recover your game character and progress by downloading this version, that does not work. You have to start over from the beginning with a new character and all the progress and money invested are lost. Which brings to to point 2. Customer service is non existent. No help or response ever, so be aware of that if you want to play this game. And the greed of the developers is very evident. This could be a great game, if the developers weren’t only after $$$ but also had the necessary support team that is needed to fix issues and help the players who (mostly) have invested quite a bit of money in this game.

Outrageous
I dared to ask for a refund for buying gold in this game because I bought the wrong product in game with it. Didn’t even use said in game product. Next thing I know they’ve frozen my game and I can only get it reinstated by paying them again for the refund I had approved. Spent thousands on this game already. Down the drain. Waste of time.
Lost my game data
I lost my game data and can’t even get help to get it back. I spent money on this game just for them to tel me I need to log into my account to access it. I’ve don’t that multiple times and nothing my original character is all gone and I can’t even restore the items I bought.
Amazing game but no customer service
The plot of the story, the style and the game mechanics are amazing. That’s why I am willing to pay for the VIP. However, this game doesn’t provide any customer service, everytime I met some system error and try to open a case, never got answers! I will never pay for it again

Don’t expect any customer service help
To preface, I have been playing this game for a long time—a REALLY long time. The last time they did server maintenance, something happened and I can’t get back to the spot I was at in the game. I have spent a log of money in this game, which is something I probably shouldn’t have done, but I digress. I have contacted customer service multiple times only to get absolutely no response at all. It’s been well over a month. This is on top of the fact that the game developers have stopped expanding the “dates” that you have to complete to earn “intimacy points” yet have every other week some new thing that you have to spend money on to be able to get—usually a costume set or something like that. If I could give ZERO stars rating I would. Just be aware that if you download this game be prepared to spend and ultimately lose money.

The game is really good and I like it, I can say that is my favorite game. Before I had the game in the English language but now is in the Chinese language, what should I do? I don’t understand. Can you put please English too?
Pay to play-ruled by expensive micro transactions
First of all, I’d like to say the game is addictive and fun. There are many aspect that would make this a great game, but it isn’t, because of the greed of the developers. The game suggests you can rise up by play and skill alone, but this simply is NOT the case. The top players stay in the upper rankling like roads and never leave because they fork out thousands of dollars to be VIP 13/14 as this is the only way to stay on top. Everything costs a ridiculous amount of gold, and you never have enough so you are forced to pay for more gold in many different ways for just about everything, and it was designed that way. I’m guessing the developers make enough from the competing top players to justify this, but I feel bad for new or incoming players who will soon realize they will never make rankings without shelling out THOUSANDS of dollars irrespective of how well you play the game, as every skill can be bought and sold to artificially inflate game progress. They also nerd original gameplay like the wishing tree to make it less likely you’ll get good items, and as the few players advance the prices inflate as well. Just pure greed that’s obvious that nobody is even trying to hide…sad really. So much potential lost

The most frustrating experience
After 2+ years of playing and $$ spent, I accidentally logged out of my Apple account on the game. As simple as a single touch. I immediately logged back in and my account had disappeared. Years of gameplay gone. Customer service is a joke, claim they aren’t able help me locate my account or my server. The number of times I’ve seen a similar complaint from other users is ridiculous.
App won’t load after server update
You will spend a lot of money on the app. And it will just crash, and there’s no way to get your money or game progress back

This game is simple and pretty if you like collecting costumes, dramatic role play and are fine with spending your cash. The game developers will allow beginner to have more golds at the beginning. They also provides consort rank and alliance competition, talent contest so it is quite eventful. Minus one star for poor server. Players often get disconnected from the game, avatar get disappeared and some event requires players to change to Chicago timing to play and keep clearing caches Minus another star for unfair timing setup. For hot spring and talent contest, European players need to wake up at midnight to register. Minus another star for dress up exchange, the costume set exchange requires 17,200 points. Even player won rank 1 for two round, the award and 10 voting points are not enuf to purchase fill set. Overall this game is pretty good if someone does not mind to spend few hundreds USD per month to play :)

Poor customer service and be aware of their charges
I enjoyed this game first but I decided to stop playing this game due to their extremely poor customer service. Don’t buy any coins from them. They kept saying I didn’t pay for that and denied my access to the game after charging me multiple times!!! They asked me to pay additional due to their system errors. The customer service kept repeating themselves and ignoring my concerns. Avoid this game at all costs

Fine with Facebook account, but crash once switch to google account. Try redownload, reboot tablet, drain battery then turn on again but still not working. Please fix it otherwise please provide older version to download.

Glitchy and no customer service
Avoid this game unless you’re okay with your paid “VIP” and progress being lost all of a sudden. When the game company messes up or have a bug out, there’s no compensation for losses, close to none customer service with unacceptable delayed response. All due to no fault of your own. They don’t care about the amount of gold you purchased to be “VIP”. They’re here for quick cash out not long-term game loyalty. In a way, it truly is a scam. It’s been how many times. First the huge backlash of Apple ID users‘ accounts being deleted out of blue. If you don’t have a friend also playing alongside you and your personal contact handy outside of the game, you’re screwed. Because they wanted you take the initiate to contact, to provide two pages of data to customer service. After all that, said “compensation” never materialized. Not a beep. Like it never happened. Now the server merger. A month out from the end of “log 10 days and receive 5-star set” just got cancelled altogether. Dress-Up Queen skipped 20 rounds, and the others skipped multiple rounds. Putting new servers being merged at a even greater disadvantage. No amount of gold you purchase out of pocket could make up that difference. Again no fault of your own forcing you to either spend or quit the game leaving all the hard-earned money in trash. Also do expect to occasionally delete and reinstall, close and open multiple times just to log on.
