The story is great, the bad endings are horrible
The main story is really sweet, especially when the Epilogue gives you a choice of 5 different “canon” endings. However, the bad endings are all horribly written and never addressed. Not only do they have nothing to do with what you picked (bad things just suddenly happen out of your control), most of them portray your Runaway Eta as some kind of deranged psychopath and, by the end of the True route, you still have no idea whether those are her real personality traits or not. The bad endings being a major selling point for this game is not good, because THEY are not good. They aren’t even consistent. This game could have less ads and 5 bad endings instead of 35; then it would be a masterpiece.

Bug relating to the addition to the story
There’s a weird bug but for some reason the prequel or "Unlocked after clearing TRUE END" never gets unlocked or is playable. I’ve tried getting all Possible achievements to unlock it but it doesn’t work, Yandere games please fix this. 奇妙なバグがありますが、なぜか前日譚や「Unlocked after clearing TRUE END」は決してロック解除されず、プレイできません。すべての可能な実績を取得してロックを解除しようとしましたが、うまくいきません。Yandere Games さん、これを修正してください。
Fun but… she’s a child
This is fun and all, but it’s very weird how the main character is actively falling in love with this girl who seems to be 10. Also weird that she’s a “yandere” and it’s highly romanticized when she’s clearly a little girl.

I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this game i thought Eta was so cute and also the different choices were SO difficult😂 A lot of outcomes were so surprising and entertaining. I enjoyed the story and I really emphasized with many things. Excellent game imo. I have a wallpaper dedicated to this game now! 🔥

this game is confusing at times and the choices are either the most random unrealistic outcomes or the most predictable outcomes ever, and that's some aspect on what makes the game confusing. the game's storyline is confusing, and the main character we play as is creepy talking about the girl, and that's something i'm uncomfortable with ☹️ there are so many ads, and the character eta who is supposedly a "yandere" but is a young character, the main character's thoughts of her is what is creeping me out. bait game.

I found this game entertaining and I really loved eta and her design and the amount of endings, I’m also not sure if this was intended or just a bug but when I was looking at achievements and clicked off, Eta’s contrast changed and she turned completely white with pink eyes when she was seeing Takeru in prison

The game seems really interesting and I'm invested in the story so far, but unfortunately the constant crashing of the game makes it unplayable and it really ruins the experience.
Good story (with way too many ads)
I really like the story. Eta is an intriguing character and definitely a bit crazy (it makes it very hard to guess the right answer because her reactions to what you choose constantly change, but I think that goes well with her character). But, I have exactly one problem with this game… the ads. There’s ads pretty much every minute! Want to know the right answer? Watch an ad. Choose the wrong answer? Watch an ad after the game tells you that you got a bad end! Just going through the text without choosing a wrong answer or having to get help to get a right answer? Watch an ad at a random time! It’s infuriating! I ended up quitting sometime during chapter 6 because I just couldn’t deal with the ads. If you have a high tolerance for ads, then this is a fine game to play, but if you’re like me and just can’t stand them, then go play something else.

Decent game and definitely worth a one time play-thur
Despite having a lot of ads and the dialogue being choppy at times (like it was mis-translated) it was a fun game with an interesting premise to play thur but I stopped after getting a few happy endings instead of collecting all endingz. (I will say some of the endings felt weird tho in the same way Anakin Skywalker and Padme’s marriage felt)
Very… odd. Not necessarily in a good way.
First, I’ve just got to say, the whole premise is creepy and borderline pedophillic and the game knows it too. The protagonist almost calls the girl a loli, he continuously remarks about how creepy it must be that he’s taking a little girl home, and then eventually the girl says she’s in love, and in a later part says she wants to MARRY the protagonist when she grows up. And then, in the ending, the protagonist says that the little girl reminds him of his ex girlfriend. …Other than that, there is a suicide attempt in the story, and a lot of murder, so beware. The dialogue is not translated very well. It was an INTERESTING 30 or so minutes playing this game, and if all of the aforementioned issues are not going to bother you so much, then by all means, go ahead and play. 🤷

So I’m greatly disturbed I played about halfway through I don’t even know what happens at the end but throughout the game the protagonist referred to the child as a loli, called her cute, and right when I decided to undownload the game the child said she wanted too marry the main protagonist. Seems pedophilic wouldn’t recommend whatsoever

Yanase Games, I hope you will read this review. I’ve been playing the game and I have 46 achievements. I have also cleared TRUE END and even have an achievement for it. However, the game isn’t allowing me to play the prequel despite clearing TRUE END and having 46 trophies. I think this is a bug that was brought with the new update because I have seen videos from 2 years ago playing the prequel. This is a great visual novel game and I really like the art.

My friend and I played this nearly every day after school until completion and enjoyed the story a lot. It gets a bit uncomfortable at times, but it mellows out quite a bit as you move on. The story is actually really interesting and it’s fun to see where each death ending takes you (especially because some of them are really out there) or otherwise. I really do recommend playing this with a friend and voice acting the characters because this genuinely made it a much more fun experience for both me and her. I really do recommend seeing it through to the end. I also like the character design of both Eta and the ex-girlfriend. Excellent game, highly recommend it!! 💞💞

There’s a lot of endings that don’t really make sense to the character and the storyline will just randomly change? But overall it’s a great game! And it’s very interesting. (Also There’s a bit of spelling mistakes and some letters missing in certain words)

Not bad.. but awkward tendencies
Takeru- the guy that u play as, and Eta, the little girl, are awkwardly put. They have it as a little girl crushing on a 20 year old and vice-versa. At the end tho, u get two options: I love Eta as a couple, and I love Eta as family. Tbh if u pick couple because u genuinely think that, then thats kinda pedo.

I played this game maybe a year ago and I loved it! And today I wanted to play it again so I downloaded it and not even 2 minutes later I get hit with an ad and normally I don’t care about ads so I just ignore it.. BUT THERES AN AD EVERY SECOND. I accidentally click out the app…AN AD, I make a choice…AN AD, I just sit there for a few seconds…AN AD. It’s so annoying 😭but besides that the game is still wonderful but hard to use because of the ads

So, I think this game is has a lot of potential. The concept is really strong, and the art looks lovely, but in execution, it’s a little shaky. Here are my main complaints: 1. The wording. From what I understand, this game was originally written in Japanese and then translated into English. I’m saying this because there are quite a few grammatical errors throughout the game, indicating some errors with the translator. Normally I wouldn’t mind. My native language is English and I still make errors every now and then. But when it comes to decision making and reading the dialogue, it can become quite frustrating to understand what the characters are saying. It’s feels like they didn’t hire a proofreader to check over the wording, which in turn, makes it hard to understand. 2. The choices. Some of these choices don’t make any sense. For example, early in the game, when you take the girl in, you are given the decision to either order food or cook it yourself. I initially chose the decision to cook it because I didn’t want to have to deal with the rain. This resulted in Eta killing me. I don’t understand why she would attack me over this. Another example I have is when she first wakes up, she is confused about why she is in my house. I asked her if her family was worried about her, and offered to take her to a specialist (I’m guessing we meant therapist.) She then killed me while saying “I don’t need help.” Why would she be mad by me offering to take care of her? The protagonist constantly talks about how he’s a nobody, so him telling her he’ll take her to someplace much more suited for her needs shouldn’t be a bad thing. There are also minor idiotic things that make her angry, such as asking if she is a minor or telling her you like her cooking. The horror. Here is a list of why I’m not satisfied with the horror in this game. The atmosphere. This game brands itself as a horror game, which is cool with me, as I enjoy horror games quite a bit. The problem with this game is that there’s isn’t much that can be counted as horror. The atmosphere isn’t really there. When it comes to making a horror game, atmosphere and tone go hand and hand, and it’s important to make sure your player is creeped out by even the location. With this game, the tone keeps flipping back and forth. At one point, it becomes a “take care of a young girl” game and “horror game.” I’m fine with a game that has different tones throughout, but they constantly flip back and forth to where I can’t properly get settled with what the story is telling. The jump scares. I’m not great with jumpscares, I’ll be honest. However, the jumpscares in this game are so TAME! It’s literally just some blood spatters on the screen, and then you’re dead. Why not actually show the girl stabbing you? Why not show the horrific image of your body laying on the ground? These things could make it much more terrifying. The colors. This game relies on a monochromatic color set, which is fine. The problem is that it has way too many highlights and not enough low lights. The game is so bright that it doesn’t strike me as a horror game. Places like your house, the store, and your office building are so bright that I’m not scared. And combined with the lackluster jump scares, I’m not scared, I’m mostly bored. I think that mostly covers everything I have to say. Again, this game has a lot of potential, and I think with enough patching and effort, this game can be great. But for now, I was just bored playing this, and that is the worst feeling you can evoke with a horror game.
