Rip off
I paid for no ads when I first got this game a few years ago. I liked playing this game and never had ads, but now I’m getting ads again so I won’t be playing this or any other games Mattel puts out. Rip Offs!! I take it back. I don’t know what I did, but I don’t have ads anymore! This is one of my favorite games to play because it’s the same as it always was no added rules or steps that you don’t even know what’s going on in a simple game you grew up with! And you can just play against the computer. It’s very relaxing.
Why can’t it just be Skip-Bo?
Too many other games involved. I just want to play Skip-Bo without all the other nonsense. I can’t even play against “real” people because it costs coins. Very annoying.

I love the physical game, so was so excited to play the app! I wish you could play with more stock cards, because games are finished way too quickly. Takes away the fun!!

i was looking forward to this being akin to physically playing skipbo, and though that is an option in one part of the app it's not the main focus. aside from this, i've had a handful of levels that will keep me stuck in place for days until whatever code you have inputed decides to give me cards i can use. i would never spend a cent on this game and maybe that's why i'm stuck where i'm at, but it seems scummy to purposefully nerf your game so people feel the need to spend their money on it to get a fair chance.

Just like the real game and more. Also if no one wants to play with you, then just play this game. Soooooo fun!
Online play is rigged
I’ve played a few days and the online play has consistently given me bad hands. I won maybe once over two days. Seems like a major money grab with fake players which favor the computer

I agree with you the Coins i by getting the app I had to use in one day for the games I am not playing anymore if it is not updated in 1 month
The ads at bottom
Every time you play the little ad thing at the bottom opens up a stupid as . It’s bad enough there are ads in the game let alone at the bottom constantly opening even if you don’t touch it . It’s sucks

I love the original card game, & I enjoy puzzle games on my phone, so I was excited to find a Skip-Bo app. The game play is great & easy to follow. However, all the features beyond just playing the card game is too much. There is too much going on, & the requirement of real-world money to play more competitively online, without any way to earn coins within the game, is a bit absurd, in my opinion. I rarely leave reviews on apps or games, most often I will just give 5 stars to the games I enjoy. But I am frustrated with the extras within this version of Skip-Bo, a game that would be plenty enjoyable for those who enjoy the original, without all the other additions going on, & I felt it might be beneficial to others looking for a more simple version of the card game they enjoy.

Supposedly you’re playing again “real” players but the speed they move cards can only Be done by a computer. It’s every single game you’re set up to lose either by the cards or the fact the computer always wins. Just a money grab. Too much other nonsense on there besides the card game.

I love this card game in real life but the app is crazy. I downloaded it for the card game but there is way too much going on. The whole app feels like a fever dream I can’t wake up from. The strangest part of the game is the cooking addiction? I’m just so confused? Why?

It is set up so that the other players always seem to get their numbers no matter how far away they are from them. They continually put down more than one card at a time and get all the Skip bo’s. Would be nice if it was more fair.

I love skip-Bo but…
Honestly Skip-Bo is one of my favourite card games but the thing that ruined this game for me was 1. All the adds like holy, 1 after every match, each of them 1-2 minutes long. Like I get it got to make money but Jesus it’s so constant I’ve just started to exit the app and re open every time I see an add. 2. The need for us to spend on coins, the only way you can make enough coins to play online is to wait for your hourly coins, and then when you run out multiple coin pop ups come up. Like come on man make it easier to make coins. 3. The fact that there isn’t a 30 discard pile. I get it was trying to be quick but idk feel like it’s too quick now. And the algorithm needs work so many times have I seen the last card either be a skip bo or a card that fits into one of the ones on the board. Just seems too likely that your last card will always fit

Playing Decks are too small!
Why just a choice of 5 or 10 cards in your deck? The real game uses 20 for 3 players. I don’t care for the save the puppy or decorate a room thing, I just want to play the game.

Skip bo mini games
Have loved this game for a while but getting extremely frustrated that you HAVE to spend money on the hard levels (ones with the crown) to pass the level. I have been stuck on level 41 for weeks now and have even gotten to the last card- played the whole way through correctly with no mistakes then get stuck with a card that I can’t use. Technically I have to pay real money to get the skip no cards or the other wild cards to be able to pass this level. It’s virtually impossible to be able to pass without spending real money.. no matter how good you are. Patience is running thin with this game. Was a 5 star game when I started but rapidly decreasing now and soon will delete it not changed. Do NOT like this sneaky strategy
Enough With The Forced Play!
So they stoped forcing you to play adventure levels to gain access to the ACTUAL SkipBo game BUT they're still CONSTANTLY forcing you to play through lobg boring tutorials whenever a new event starts and every time a new Fluffy appears! Fluffy is adorable, but I do not want to pay for Fluffy's help! I KNOW I don't want to pay for it! Stop forcing me to use Fluffy everytime he returns when I do not want to use him! I downloaded the app to play SkipBo! I don't llay adventure levels often. I play more when there's an event I'm interested in. If I WANT to look at the new event I WILL! Stop FORCING me to open the event and go through the tutorial! Let the PLAYER decide if they want to participate in the event and give an OPTION for the tutorial! So many of the events have the same or similar set ups! They're easy to figure out! Not every player NEEDS a tutorial! I appreciate the developers making the right call and removing the forced adventure play to unlock online play but forcing players to do all these other things is so damn annoying!
High stakes is definitely rigged
I am finally getting the hang of the game, finally winning occasionally against the bots offline, but I have to say I’m starting to believe that the high stakes round is rigged somehow because I have played NUMEROUS rounds (more than the offline rounds mentioned in my previous review), and have yet to win a single round! I play a few regular rounds of online, and try a handful of high stakes and there and like I’ve mentioned, have yet to win ANY!
