Slowness is an issue
I really like this app! I have the subscription and I should probably use more of the features. But it takes forever to add a transaction once you hit add.
Incorrect Calculations
Frequently this app will not keep correct calculations. I can actually see the balance numbers changing when I’m not touching anything. I pay for this app but I will probably switch to something else bc this is very annoying. I enter everything and balance about once a week but now I cannot get it to balance bc it cannot do math. I have closed and reopened but that doesnt help.

The balance doesn’t always update and the bills are not updating either.
Great app until you update it
I used the free version of this app for a while then upgraded to the paid version. It’s great and I really enjoy it, super user friendly and customizable. The only problem I’ve run into, and the reason I’m doing 4 stars instead of 5, is that EVERY SINGLE TIME an update has been pushed and I run it, it completely messes up my accounts. I just ran an update today on it (May 10th) and now my savings account is showing the last transaction from April 24th. My checking shows correct dates of last transactions but the balance is wrong so now i have to spend time combing through both accounts to make corrections. It’s incredibly frustrating.

Older version was much better
After the last update September 2023, the app is not working correctly. Duplicating debts, running extremely slow, crashing. I have used this app for many years and this latest update has ruined everything good about it.
Was Great
I’ve used this for years as my quick bank balance check when using my debit card and it was Great! Lately the app no longer has a carry forward balance after each transaction, just 0.00. Also the pending at the top does not update when charges are cleared anymore. Just frustrating since it worked previously.
New update
Love this app. Having trouble with the new update, been waiting all day for the email so I can verify my email address.
Suddenly not free?
I don't want or need any "premium" features but thank you for MAKING me pay to view my ledger all of a sudden.
No longer supported?
I have been using this app through the years. Continuously using it daily as it has evolved. Went to use it the other day and it is asking me to make an account. I already had an account. I’ve been using it for years! After multiple tries to get into my account, I decided to try making a “new” account. I have entered all the required information and nothing happens. Just downloaded a different app due to this issue. Hopefully there is a fix for what happened. ***UPDATED 2/2023 - Sorry for the poor review. The app is now working again. I believe the issue was my phone. Technical issues. App is working as it should again!
Can not transfer between accounts in one entry
If I could do the above I would be sold on this app
Old Version was better.
Do not like this New Version of Balance at all. After spending a long time, I did get some of my Accounts to pull in. Many of them would never import. The Account names are not in Alphabetical Order (which they were in the old version). I truly dislike this new version. I loved the way it was. Sadly things always have to change.

I did an update on my iPhone and now this app is offline and is not working.
Has Potential But Needs Work
This app has been around a while so I find it shocking that it has the issues it does. I entered a Comcast Bill of $89 due monthly on the 28th. Then I realized oh, it’s the 25th. Well there is no edit screen to easily change all these bills to the 25th. So I delete the old bill and add the new one with the date of the 25th. However no matter what I do I now have two Comcast payments. One the 25th and one the 28th. No amount of deleting will get rid of one of these accounts.

Why?
I’m trying to save money by being better at budgeting and checkbook. But you want me to pay $100 for this. Does not make economic sense for me
A little frustrating
I like the app a lot but every now and then it stops working and I have to delete the app then go back to the App Store and download it again for it to work

This app is wonderful, I purchased the original a few years back,,,then had to upgrade, but now I have to pay to add additional accounts? Bummer. Also can’t access without network connection, that’s a bit of a red flag.

This is the only app I use every day. It truly wins in its simplicity. It’s basically a virtual checkbook, which is exactly what I needed.
Good…when it works
I’ve used Balance Pro for several years using a iPad Pro (iOS always current), but recently (May 2024) Balance Pro has shut down with any attempt to enter a transaction, or even access settings. The developer said he has initiated multiple “fixes”, but none have solved the dilemma I have experienced. I have subsequently initiated a simple Google Sheets “app” of my own that works just fine. I can’t do a search, but that function didn’t work most of the time in Balance Pro anyway.
Trying out for month
Trying out for one month only right now. .99 cents not to bad to try. One feature I would like to see added if possible Have cleared and uncleared balance on accounts. I have checks that I write that sometimes take 2 or more weeks to fully process!( yes I know Jee whiz)

Don’t download unless you want to pay for a year!
Do not download this unless you are willing to pay for an entire year even without using it. I signed up to try this software out and it was not for me. I cancelled and they will not refund. I literally cancelled within 24 hours. I tried to request a refund twice stating this was not for me and I will not use it and it was denied both times. Horrible!!!!
Please fix bug
Longtime user of the original app, downloaded pro bc old version out of date with new iOS. New version opens but gets stuck at login page. Love the app, please fix bug 🙏🏻

I have been using this site for a long time. I was asked to pay to use it and I gladly did. Just went on there to maintain my accounts and was asked to create a password. Did that. My accounts are now MIA . Not happy!!!
