Love this game. It has so much to offer and no pop ads and is not pay to win. This is how games should be.

You NEED player career mode
The manager career mode is fun, but I feel like if you guys added a player career mode I think it would get more players
Watch out for yellow cards
Yellow cards are out of control, I play on difficult mode and get at least a yellow card every other match during simulated events. I get slide tackled 10 times a match by computer but get a yellow on the computer a handful times a season. Not much fun to play anymore and I never slide tackle on my own as it an automatic yellow for me. If you have a red mist or chopper on your squad, forget it.
AI and interaction
The teammates AI are sometimes too dumb. Things are expensive.
Fun ai could be better
Make teams and players customizable like the rest of the games. AI could be a little better. When they call for a shot they become stupid and can’t control them and you lose the ball. Over all very fun game
Buggy
Update led to a bug that accelerated all contracts by a year, ruining my save.
Pretty good game
Like the game, but they should add more national teams and add a full national team manager mode

There should be a chipping and maybe a power shot animation overall i think the game is great
AI meant to win
In favor of the AI, never give any fouls or penalties, always make them 10000x faster then everyone. Always make them score on every single attack. Make the goalkeepers act like prime Buffon. In favor of the AI, horrible.
Needs a fix
The players are really dumb. They never go where you’d want them to go, and they always find a way to not get the ball. There is also no offside rule for the opposing team. You should also add individual trophies to each player.
iOS 12
It very good game played a lot. If it’s compatible with iOS 12 developer should made it work but it crashing right after it click to start.
Great, but…
The game is great, but in Retro Bowl, you could rename your entire roster and it made the game feel more like yours. If this game added the feature to rename players it would get 4+ stars

Genuinely confused?
Why in the world would you make a soccer game where you can’t play the majority of the game and have no control over defense? All this game is, is a fast pace shooting sim.
Good game but could use some work
The game is good and fun but it’s either too easy or impossible to win. The coaching offers you get are very random and sometimes the players are just toxic for no reason. If they could improve the logic in which you get jobs, make the game difficulty more consistent, make the opposing goalies better, and have some more free features rather than having to pay for them, this would be one of the greatest football games there is.
Good but not so good

Can’t create new teams like retro bowl
I’m not Able to create new teams like you can in retro bowl which makes the game boring and no fun because I have to stick with the default league. Please add a team editor feature and I will like the game way more.
Game Is Fun
The game is overall pretty fun but the “Chance Missed” mechanic is absolutely terrible. There is no rhyme or reason on what decides a missed chance and it pops up when you clearly still have an opportunity to get control of the ball. Other than that game is fun.

Fraudulent game took purchased coins and auto simulated this season
Be careful purchasing coins as the game will simulate a season without prompting or permission and you will lose all coins, if you spent them before that season. This bug has appeared on Reddit and resulted in me using my money.
World Cup
Need to add a World Cup opportunity every 4 seasons and the qualifying rounds to enter. After winning the champions league or top league cup for whichever country you’re playing from become the head coach for the national team in between seasons and pick from top players to be your national team. Otherwise the game is great.
Bad management system
I know this game has been abandoned by the devs so this is for anyone who might end up spending money. I played 3 seasons and it’s almost impossible to progress, players are insanely expensive. By the time you have enough money saved you are stuck renewing another players contract or losing them entirely. After 3 seasons my team consist of 3 two and one star players.
Is alright
You should remake headers as it always passes from a header instead of shooting and also add defending otherwise it’s a good game
Game is great
Game is an excellent soccer experience, high quality and polished. My only issue is there are some bugs. for example when you go to the transfer list to buy new players, and select forwards to buy, the game crashes. Besides the bugs it’s basically perfect

Would have easily gave that game a 5 stars rating if it didn’t suffered a massive glitch that got my phone completely frozen for a week. I couldn’t even close him so I had to wait for the battery to go completely down for it to be usable again. Be careful with that cause it’s no fun at all
The game is mid but good at the same time
When I first played retro goal, I loved it, but I personally think that when the other team gets the ball to the side of the field where they can score, I think the game shouldn’t stop right there and that it should have defensive parts to the game too, and there are too many micro transactions on the transfer list
Great game, Needs more updates
I love the game but I wish there was individual trophies for players like ballon Dor, golden boot etc. also I wish that retro goal had more kits for teams. I also wish that retro goal adds the ability to look at all the leagues and see standings. Right now you can just see your league the league below in your country and the champions league standing. For the champions league I also wish it was 2 legs for all the games up until the final and actually have a group stage aswell. Overall love the game.
Terrible game
The game is genuinely horrible, makes no sense to the game of soccer and is honestly poorly made. The runs and formations are completely unrealistic and I hope the developers feel bad about what they have made.
One qualm
The CPU generates some pretty peculiar names, ive played this game for 2 days, and i’ve already had players named Jack Hof, Dick Bone, and Angel Dix
Decent game but..
What’s the point of joining a top club (or any club) if your just gonna start at the botttom with a poor team and low funds? It’s unrealistic and makes it not fun. When I join a top club I want a top team and better funds please fix this or else the whole function of joining a new club is absolutely useless.
Game has improved
Massive improvements with the new update other than the fact that heading the ball will not work. Also the option to edit would be nice. The game is kinda broken til headers are fixed though.
Defense
This game would be the best game in the App Store if you could just play defense as well instead of having your ai play defense for you. The rest of the game is great and really hope this changes.
Cash grab compared to Retro Bowl
The dev’s learned their lesson from Retro Bowl. In Retro Bowl you can build a team up without having to pay to play. It’s a grind but it’s possible. In this you have to pay to play to keep good players because contracts expire so fast and require coins to renew. Such a con.
Great game but here are Suggestions
Suggestions: -add many more player nationalities at club level. Arab, Caribbean, more European (Slavic ones, Wales, Austria, Belgium, Greek etc), African (Algeria, Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon etc) and South American (Colombia, Uruguay, Ecuador etc) obviously, in proportion to their presence in the real market. -more character designs that align with their nationalities. For example, Mexico (the whole game in general) lack characters that look like Luis Romo, Alexis Vega and Carlos Vela. Take design inspo from them as well as Miguel Almirón (Paraguay) and Lautaro Martínez (Argentina). -more of an active roll in defence; playable goalkeeper or have a play start with rival possession that we need to defend against. Ability to see opponent’s set pieces. -TRAIT IDEA: at club level, give certain players an advantage in home games (conditional, ex. If your stadium is maxed out) and slightly nerf them somehow for the away games. -make weather a factor that affects gameplay. -more accurate uniform colours (ex. team Mexico need white shorts and red socks). -punish bad management (being fired after losing x amount of games, for example). -bonuses or contracts that make joining one club more attractive than another at the end of a season. As others have mentioned, joining a big club should already come with good facilities and players. Bonuses for x amount of clean sheets for example. -cameos (Ancelotti, Pep, Zidane) -add hundreds more dilemmas (ex. travel sickness, breakups etc.). -way more generous offers from other clubs that want my players and more prize money bc I’m hitting back to back trebles, but still breaking even. -Trophy confetti should match club colours. -ability to save/share a game you really liked so you can rewatch later. This can be a floppy disk icon where our favourite games are listed. This would make it easier to share on socials too, idk you guys could've capitalised this World Cup frl. -ability to see the minute a goal was scored or a booking was made; including names. -pixelated cutscenes after winning the league or tournament (ex. the club bus driving through traffic, club lifting the trophy). -fans in stands wearing club colours. -as mentioned, when I send a long ball, rivals should have no business heading it away when it's still a good 5 metres in the air. - more leagues: Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Austria and Greece. - I vote against changing player names and kits. It's part of the charm and experience to have your Xavis and Miguels in LaLiga and your Mathieus and Thibaults in Ligue 1. Also, why would a home Napoli kit be anything other than light blue? Games gone. -Individual player awards: Balon d'Or, golden boot. -More creative AI in Hard/Extreme mode instead of just booting it in 0.0001 seconds -ability to loan out your own players. -the hall of fame doesn't work and now I can't see players that I spent years winning titles with. Club legends, just gone. - Chivas and Athletic Club Bilbao should only have Mexican and Spanish players, respectively. - more international football: Copa Oro, AFCON, Eurocopa and Copa América. -a menu with different seasons/years that we can click on and play with players from that season.
I can’t play it anymore
It is a good game that I enjoy very much. But after I played for 3 seasons. I’m not able to enter the app. It would be five stars if it wasn’t for that.
Reasonable game
Not an awful game but not great. Controls are lacklustre and it very quickly becomes a pay to win game.
Great Soccer Game, however lacking two pivotal features
I’ve been playing this wonderful game for a while now and it has been really pleasant. The variety of clubs and unique player events that can happen make you feel like a real manger. But for a while now there hasn’t been a multiplayer mode like retro bowl. Or any online features that would change the game from great to legendary.
Fix the game
The slow mode happens and I can’t get it off I just have to wait it out not even passing. What’s the point of the red exclamation point? It ruins the game they don’t even need to shoot but they will be on half field and decide they need to shoot at goal and I can’t control it.
Fun but flawed
So many games where I get only one or two chances and then my 5 star defense gives up 3 or 4 goals. Very frustrating to see that and for that to happen.
Bad
The game feels like it was developed by a third grade classroom. Controls are awful, confusing and inconsistent. Sometimes when you pull back it winds up for a shot, but other times your player fully turns around, great when it happens right in front of the net.
Add the ability to defend
This game is mostly a good game but they need to add the ability to defend because you concede goals that can’t do anything about
