Buttons don’t reliably register input
a2993 ipad mini with 8bitdo pro 2 bluetooth controller and I’m lucky to get accelerator button presses to register in 1/3 games.
Problems with controls.
I’m trying to go into the settings to change the controls in the game, like for steering and accelerating, and for some reason it won’t let me apply the changes or even turn off the music effects. The “apply changes” button is gray. I’m playing on my iPhone. Is there a way for that to be fixed. I just downloaded the game recently

The game is a ton of fun when it works. Unfortunately, the app is pretty finicky and crashes a bunch. If that’s fixed 5 stars.

Devs don’t love it enough for me to love it
This game has the potential to be great, it has great gameplay. But if you’re getting into it for the multiplayer aspect of Apple Arcade, for some reason it won’t let you. The last time the developers updated this game was a year ago., Part of the sale of having a game on Apple Arcade is the multiplayer aspect. Until the developers decide to get with this game, I simply can’t. Spend my time on it.

I just started playing and thought, “Drifting would be cool.” Also please fix the lag on the iPad.

If you’ve ever played cruisein USA in the 90s then you’re playing this game my big problem with it was that the controls were unable to use the tilt on the phone to steer other then that it’s just ok
Good but some questions
Graphics are awesome and I love the racing aspect, but I think the game itself is when you put the computer computers on easy. It’s still very hard fix that.

Fun until the crashes start
This was a fun game I used for killing time. I can’t play it anymore however, because every time I tap on Florida to continue playing the world tour, the game crashes.
Beautiful and Fun
I played the original Horizon Chase and this sequel is just as good. Both are among the best looking games on IOS - beautiful saturated colors in fantasy versions of otherwise real locations. If you’re after a realistic sim, look elsewhere - this is pure arcade - but it’s lovely to look at and fun to play.
Game crashes
I really want to like this game. I’ve only been able to get to 7% of the world tour. I have waited, I’ve gone back in, close the game, and absolutely nothing is working. The game crashes and closes at the same exact point every single time. I hope there are some updates soon because it can be a good game.
Great game but some glitches
Great game, very competitive, only lately ‘world tour’ keep on crashing. I hope this will be fixed soon so I can continue my goal to finish first in all races.

I don’t know why this game be always glazing I used to play this game but I took a break for I month and I play it again today I use boost I’m playing with my dad so we use it at the same time and he’s faster than me and we both used boost and he faster than me like what the heck!? And so he wins we race again and by some unlucky reason we crash into each other he crash but I avoid crashing and what do l see? My dad speeding past me like I thought you people said you fix bugs well this is know glitch this game is just plane glaze what’s wrong with games these day?!?!

The only problem is the car goes WAY TO FAST so it’s really hard to win and EVEN when I pick the slowest car i get like…7TH PLACE!
Same problem as H Chase 1
Just like Horizon Chase 1… it was so much fun until you end up stuck on a route that’s just too difficult, and you can’t proceed. I played the same routes in UAE over and over, but they were just too hard, and I couldn’t get enough points to get to get next country. It was no longer fun, so I quit playing. Now the same with 2. The “Boiling Ravines” route is almost impossible. I managed first or second place on almost all the previous routes, and I had so much fun. This route, I can’t get better than 9th place and I crash on too many curves. If I go slower so I don’t crash, I come in 15th or worse. I’ve tried several different cars, and it was the same problem. The game stopped being fun! It’s too frustrating. I’ll try a couple more times and probably quit 2 just like I quit 1. Who wants to play a GAME THAT ISN’T FUN? (Maybe give us a way to skip a route we just can’t win?)
App Crashes Too Often
The game play hits the right balance of simple enough to follow along and maintain interest, and challenging enough where the possibility of losing—or crashing in the game—is real. Speaking of crashing, this app is crashing entirely too often upon opening or right before a specific game loads. It’s truly diminishing the enjoyment of the experience.

What, no sound? No music? I have the sounds on and the volumes turned up. No sound. Uninstalled/reinstalled. Nothing.

Poor controls and expensive upgrades
The main problem I have with this game is the control scheme and how the game handles crashes. Players are forced into a different rules than the computer racers. This is a BIIIIIG no no in games. If I crash into something or something hits me I lose all my speed including nitro. The computer cars do not. At all. Ever. This immediately drops you several spots in the lineup. This is quite frankly unforgivable and really should have been avoided with proper play testing. Devs seriously need to promote the habit of handing their game to someone who has absolutely ZERO experience with the development of it and see how they react to it. Often times the devs are blind to bad decisions they made because they just know how to either avoid the issues or they think that it’s fun when it really isn’t. Also just don’t create a separate set of rules for the player….it never works out and creates an artificial level of difficulty that is frankly unwelcome and is a sign of poor development decisions. Upgrades cost WAAAAAY to much, the first is 20 for something that really doesn’t matter much and won’t really help you play, the next at 80 and over 200. I have to do 8 races to upgrade the second and 20 to upgrade the third just to be able to properly compete and that’s IF I can grab the coins during the level and I have enough currency to upgrade which I’m assuming is much more than the pittance you get per race. This game was designed with microtransactions in mind, and like most other arcade games the game wasn’t modified to play better without those transactions when it shifted to the arcade. Apple Arcade seriously needs to vet their games a lot better. Or simply do what google did and allow players to “purchase” the monetary packs for free if the game is on Arcade

My problem with the game is that when I’m hitting right it goes left even though it’s on classic mode. This bug needs to be fixed because I’m tired of retrying because I’m on first place only for my car to steer wrong. The buttons are not connecting for some reason and when you pause the game and resume the car goes down in gears which makes no sense at all

Great sequel but…
I 120%ed Horizon Chase 1 on Switch, iPhone, and PC and I’m now 90% through Horizon Chase 2. Horizon Chase 2 is better in almost every way except the upgrade system. The problem is that in order to upgrade a car, you need to drive it. However, what happens is you end up getting to the end of the campaign with a few fully upgraded cars and the rest at very low levels. If you want to go back and level up the rest of your cars, they’re going to be very slow which makes them much worse for the end game challenges you have left to complete. The solution would have been to allow you to use xp points earned from any car to upgrade any other car so you don’t need to grind your unviable, slow cars just to get them up to par with the end game content. Cosmetic unlocks could still be locked to driving the specific car, but performance upgrades should not.

29 FEB 2029 Well, there was an update today… and the game still has no sound, and continues to crash in ‘Playground’ and ‘Tournaments’ mode as soon as you cross the finish line (especially, if you are in 1st place). 28 FEB 2024 I really enjoy this game, but it is riddled with bugs (especially on tv). First off, after the Arcade logo appears, the game goes completely silent. Restarting the game a few times, or accessing Control Center, usually corrects this; I’ve played several races with no audio at all. Next, many times—especially after completing a race in multiplayer mode—the game crashes. In conjunction with that, you are never given any rewards even if you win first place. Also, when selecting the ‘Rewards’ tab, the game freezes, and you have to restart it again. The game is extremely fun when it works, but these bugs make it a bit infuriating. Not to mention, I recently did a clean install of the software on all of my devices (iPhone, iPad, tv) and these bugs still persist. I really hope these issues get corrected ASAP because this is the Arcade racing game I’ve been logging for.
Please take out the arrows that tell you where to drift
Please take the arrows out when I bump into them it slows me down whitch makes feels more like a rage quit game
Phenomenal!
I really like this game! I recently started poking around the mobile racing genre after years of absence, and I was delighted to find this game. It’s extremely approachable (especially for someone like myself that doesn’t have a strong racing vocabulary beyond Mario Kart), very fun, appropriately challenging, and the graphics are quite delightful in their cartoony realism. The time I’ve spent with this game so far has been great, and I look forward to more!

Game is good but chat bubbles are annoying
The chat bubbles block your view and are annoying, if you aren’t going to remove them at least give us the option to turn it off.

I really really really like the game but the arrows are really really really really really really really really annoying so please remove them please I really really don’t like them overall it’s good just REMOVE THE ARROWS PLEASE

Addictive racing game
Overall game is good and enjoy it playing everyday. From graphics to levels everything is worth it. Request you to make only change that is to remove those dialogues from driver while in the race as it partially covers the track and distracts from the race. With this amended in next update the game would be more enjoyable and easy to play.
Great but bugs
I like this game a lot but the number of bugs makes it frustrating. Some of them I have reported in the past and they eventually got fixed. At the moment for me the game is stuck in offline mode
Great, buggy on Apple TV
This game is near perfect, but it keeps crashing when we’re playing on the Apple TV. First we thought it was only on multiplayer, but it’s buggy in single player too. Hopefully there’s a fix, it’s the best multiplayer racing game on Arcade.
