Is a scam charges you under false pretence says itâs for booking but really just a subscription fee DO NOT pay the ÂŁ39
Good option
Iâm happy that I was able to get a student within a few days of posting my ad. The only frustration Is that sometimes the recommendation of my friends does not go through. The website seems to have some bugs.
Still have a long way to go
As a tutor, the app can never load sessions. It ask you to relaunch almost ever time. Making it impossible to go back and forth and forth from messaging to lessons. Also my students of complain that they are unable to pay for a lesson.
user friendly
makes organization for tutoring easy!
Demanda
Efficient but algorithm heavy.
I have loved using Superprof for online teaching so far. It is a great way to connect with people. My only reservations are the following. In my experience you only find students from the country you are living in. So, if you have an Italian network, you get Italian clients. It would be nice to feel more connected globally. Further, I prefer using other video call platforms, such as Google Meet - as I never quite took to the platform on Superprof, after one or two unsuccessful attempts. Additionally, as a tutor, if you donât have a low rate, expect a difficult battle with algorithm for a while. This does eventually change but can feel frustrating as you enter the platform. I have paid for the pro account and also feel that doesnât change much. Overall, there is room for improvement in the Superprof system but itâs an excellent way to meet new students when you are connected. The payment system also works very well, with a choice to be paid after any amount accrued higher than âŹ20 or the end of the month. I also prefer this platform to sites like Preply, because you can manually arrange bookings as a tutor and students donât book your time automatically by availability settings. I definitely recommend this platform.
IS NOT WORKING FOR ME
I opened a profile to teach and unless I pay 100$ right away my profile is never visible. So itâs been over a week Iâve had it and no one is actually seeing my profile.
Peu faire mieux
First swimming lesson
It was a pleasure to meet Jay and family! I also had a lovely time with the little one! They are really kind and helpful with lots of positive vibes! They showed me around and we communicate really smoothly through messages and in person. We set up goals and needs for the little one as well as arranging the meet up time! Thank you Jay for receiving so well. And I cannot wait for our next lesson!
Careful of buying the SPS fee
Never have written a bad review until now. The app asks you to temporarily pay a ÂŁ39 fee and that youâd get your money back if you didnât manage to book with anyone. Wasnât able to find anyone to book with and havenât gotten the ÂŁ39 fee back as itâs been taken out of my bank account. Be wary of this fee and do not fall for it.
Avis.
Not what It seems
I was looking for a tutor and found options on this app. When I went to book it only prompted me to the student pass which seems like thatâs the price you pay to meet with their tutors offered on the app. NO thatâs just the fee you pay to be able to message and plan meets i guess with tutors on the app. Then you need to pay them separatelyâŠâŠ
Best Tutoring platform
I'm honored to be one of the most searched tutors on Superprof for Organic Chemistry and MCAT preparation since last 4 years. A heartfelt thank you to the Superprof team for this recognition and for providing such a wonderful platform to connect with students. Truly grateful!
â ïž Be Careful Before Making Any Payment
I had a very disappointing experience using this app. I contacted driving instructors through the platform, but I experienced confusing payment arrangements, including requests involving another personâs account. I also had issues with lesson scheduling and communication. This made me feel uncomfortable and concerned about making payments through the platform. I expected a safer and clearer booking and payment process. I would recommend being very careful and checking everything before making any payment.
Fantastic app
Highly recommend for looking for professionals to teach you to develop your skill
Recurring fee wasnât clear
Paid what I understood to be a one-off fee to contact tutors. It wasnât made clear this was a recurring subscription, not a single charge. Of the tutors I messaged, one never replied and the others stopped responding as soon as I tried to book a lesson. Paid for the service and got nothing usable. Check your bank statement after signing up and be aware the fee recurs â think twice before paying upfront.
Avis superprof
Super appli, hyper pratique Ă utiliser !
Switcheroo
I agree with others that they perform a sleight of hand to get you to pay a subscription fee without explicitly stating that you will
A Great Platform for Connecting with Students
Superprof has honestly been a really helpful platform for growing my teaching and connecting with students I probably wouldnât have met otherwise. As a guitar teacher, I like how simple it is to set up my profile and start conversations with people who are actually interested in learning. It feels pretty natural to use, and Iâve had a lot of good experiences with students so far. Most people Iâve worked with have been friendly, motivated, and easy to communicate with, which makes teaching a lot more enjoyable. Overall, Iâd definitely recommend Superprof to other teachers or professionals who want an easy way to find new students and share what they do.
Very confusing
Was charged ÂŁ39 just to contact a tutor, and was charged even though the app says this happens only after contact with a tutor is made. Not very happy and would suggest you take care with the app
The Experience
What a way to exchange knowledge and guide others through language barriers at the comfort of their home or person.
Lee Florence scammed me
I know itâs not the apps fault but they should have better moderation as they took ÂŁ300 pound from me and deleted her account so sheâs refused to give it back
Good app to use
Iâve had 4 customers and this app has been very responsive and helpful with tutoring.
Completely unhappy
I was looking for a football coach in my area. They advertised saying you get one free session. I made the payment of ÂŁ38 and instead, I was paying a monthly subscription, not a training session. I donât mind to pay a membership if this is clearly explained before we make the payment. Now I have the coach asking for his payment, and I look like stupid because I thought he had been paid. This is only to express my frustration on how they find ways to get money from people

Super easy to use app
