As they add content they are making it more and more pay to play. To make it worse they set up events in a way that events don’t happen at the same time. You find out the resource you had been hording for an event and started using the day before is now tracked for a new event that just started. So the only way to be successful at the new event is to buy more because you already spent it. It’s sad because I used to really like the game.

App is dead
They have not added anything in years. They even stopped their seasonal events, so you can't unlock the skins. They used to add new characters and content, but its obvious that the developers have given up on the game. Its sad because I have kept up with it for a long time. I think its time to throw in the towel.
Mixed feelings about
I love the game great way to pass time. Not a 5 star in my opinion because you can’t play it offline.
For whales only
If you don’t spend money your odds of getting daily bonuses and progress are slim. Now out of nowhere my server has people with crazy high AL making it impossible to compete in dominion and other things. I enjoy the game but now that I can’t even somewhat compete in these daily and other things what’s the point…
Good but not
The game is good, but sadly full of glitches. Dev make many update just to change UI (like 4-5 times in a row). There’s a Discord server, but Dev never answered or help. More the game is update worst it game (more glitchy, add new system that don’t work well, changes system that work for something dump like chat new chat system and more). Server merge that kill all progress (pass from 4th of server to 19th and from 14th to 51st at other merged… If you like to not caring about progression and playing and you just want play for playing, it’s good for you

I’ve never written a review on really anything before😂. But I have to with this game. I love it so much! The animation style of all the characters is so appealing to me I could play it for hours🤣. It will forever be one of my favorite games. Thank you to the creators for making this game😂😁

Why do I have to pay for something I earned? If I win an archercade level in the alloted time for 3 stars, why do I then have to purchase it? that's backwards. That's like adding a skin on a game that you have to buy and then earn. "Oh, you purchased this? no son; you purchased the chance to have it XD" type of deal. See what I mean?

I dislike the new set up
I thought you guys had a pretty nice game but i really don’t like the new set up where the menus and everything is on the right side of the screen. On iPad there’s also these borders around the game that were added that make it so much less immersive. I think you guys should try to do events that are more fun, maybe add mini games? I hope the game improves, I’ve been playing for a year or two now and I’m going to stick with you guys. I’ll be writing a new review if the situation changes

I got my account banned
I am a stay at home mom and played this game while feeding my newborn. They banned my account for no reason I emailed support and they didn’t ask for any account details just said that they couldn’t do anything because I violated their terms. I actually took the time to read through their terms to insure I did not. And I didn’t I emailed them back giving them my account details even though they didn’t ask, hoping someone would care enough to actually look into it and see I’ve done nothing wrong. They didn’t they sent an email saying my account was associated with abnormal account activity. And they will do nothing. But all I did was play this game and watch an insane amount of ads. Glad I didn’t spend money wouldn’t suggest anybody spend money because they apparently ban for no reason and can’t be bothered to check if they were right or wrong. I did reach out to developer as stated above in review and was also given no help.
Great game
I really like these types of games and have played a couple of others for a couple of years. The aspect of taking that grind and just grinding for so long without taking hours out of your day is great. The in app purchases everybody talks about is not really a problem, they give you a couple of “offers” every once and awhile but that’s all. Id much rather have that than ads popping up every 30 seconds. Game is great and had potential.
Good systems but far too greedy and not really idle
The systems and mechanics in this game are fun but like everyone else says, it’s littered with paid options. If you want to make meaningful progress, you do need their VIP system. Which would be fine but there’s 13 tiers with each costing increasingly more. The total cost of it is absurd (like several hundreds) and honestly pretty tasteless because there are other game features locked behind it. You also can’t really progress unless you leave your device on all day because you need to merge to level up which doesn’t happen while offline. So it’s not really an idle system that lets you progress in a meaningful way. Overall, if you aren’t keen on spending a ton of money or an absurd amount of your time, just play this very casually if you have nothing better to do. Otherwise find something more productive to do with your idle time lol. Convincing the studio to try and lower the pay walls aren’t worth the effort given the cash they get from the whales. These games are just a cash metric system designed to game those with far too much disposable income. In response to the developer response: Sorry but no, I don’t have anything to discuss in private. Maybe you should address the lack of communication on your own Discord and actually respond to players and their grievances rather than update the paid options only.
New update broke app
With the new update you can't open any secondary screen, it keeps flashing processing request and opening a blank screen

I still love this game, but needs improvements
Archer Forest is still the GOAT, I’m not gonna lie. I feel like I’m getting stronger with my archers and arrows. However, there are some room for improvement: - My equipped arrow levels are decreased when I open the game, and they suddenly rise up as I progress. We need to fix this, please. - The prices of the in-app purchases are WAY to high. Do you suppose, you could decrease the prices in half? - There should be more options on how to earn more black diamonds, latent energy stones, sapphires, latent transformation stones, latent enhancement stones, essence of red forest, latent awakening stones, etc. How about we fix that. - I also noticed that there are no gift codes to enter for tons of rewards. Do you think you can add that too, please? - More pets too! That’s all I need to say. I hope you have checked out my feedback and suggestions, so that Archer Forest will still be the GOAT.
Kick out of Boss fights
So if you want to do the World boss fight you have to know the time it starts and sit and wait. I have tried many times for the fight, to have the count down end and get kicked out
It’s great but could be better
this game is easily my favorite game to play, though there are many different ways it could be better, the pvp part of the game is very unstable and at times just straight up incorrect in the ways it calculates damage done. there’s also no real way to see all your stats in one go, it shows you some stats in different places but i can’t just look at my total stats, this would be really helpful to test different things out to see how i can maximize them. this game is also very pay to win, if you don’t pay then you don’t progress. i personally believe game developers deserve to get paid but it’s on another level of greedy at this point. honestly i would give this game 5 stars if they fixed pvp and stats but for now it’s staying at 3.

Minor issues
I really enjoy the game, and it’s pretty straightforward until arrow level 65. I’m now wondering how to get things like the black Diamond. The biggest issues I’m struggling with is the Essence of the Forest that you collect from trees in your village don’t transfer to the deep forest dungeon. I’ve chopped down 2 trees and got nothing so I don’t know if I haven’t hit the correct level? I also don’t know how to get bows/gear, so a semi tutorial as things unlock would be nice as far as the next steps go. Besides those minor issues, great game, easy to come back to after work and while dealing with other things.
Newest update crashed my game
Whatever I press it says, “processing request please wait” And it’s not my iPad because it’s not like the other older iPads. AND the loading screen can’t even get past 6%
Decent
The game itself in most ways is pretty great, and for a free game its amazing that you dont HAVE to watch any ads. That being said, watching ads and making (VERY pricy) purchases for faster progress or better perks in the game are pretty frequently shoved in your face. I can forgive it though, as the free base game is fun enough.

This is a really fun game that I enjoy often when I’m waiting for something in public. Only issue with this is that I’m playing on my phone and the arrows on the merge page are too tiny to see.
Bug fixes needed
If a creator of this game is reading this please fix the loading screen when it says cleaning the anvil at 90% my game crashes so please fix it soon
Great concept, idle, but server merge kills it
Was a great file game at first. I was doing exceptional, made good progress. Then server merge happened and I went from top 200 to well over 1,000 in all rankings. Without spending serious money there is no way to compete at that point. Deleted the game. There needs to be tiers of competition to make this worth playing after the server merge. Thanks for a good month.

No tutorial
I don’t know what I’m doing in this game. There are a bunch of locks at the bottom of the screen preventing additional arrow production, and there’s nothing in this game that tells me how to unlock it.
Great, but infuriating fun
The game is simple yet fairly deep with a lot of “side mechanics”, which in itself is fine, however, pretty much every single thing you do in this game will have some sort of “hey buddy.. wanna pay X$ to get this now?” or “heres 70 different packs for you to choose from for this one event” Poppup, and the prices are simply ridiculous. You have the same recurring missions to get some diamonds and what not, but since one of those missions is “watch an ad”, you’ll be spending a LOT of your playtime on ads, it gets really annoying

Rename this game….PROCESSING REQUEST
Game is great but fundamentally flawed. Every action leads to a pop up saying ‘processing request’ that lasts 10-15+ seconds. When you want to play a game and every single action leads to a waiting period…. It becomes work NOT fun. I was a supporter for some time. But this processing request problem has been going on for months now unfixed. I cannot continue to support a game that is nearly unplayable and certainly unplayable as intended. Additionally in game competition is full of players that are free to exploit…attaining scores to a point that playing fairly only leads to disappointment. Developers respond to reports with ”this is being looked at and forwarded to our development team it will take some time to fix.” I waited a very long time to leave a critical review. In that time multiple P2W features have been added while the problems are left completely unaddressed and have only worsened. Please fix what is broken before continuing to add P2W features…??(that further break the game.

Fix your rng system for real. 14k gems dumped and not a single 4 or 5 star hero? Considering I get. 11 summons and did that 14 times and a 4 star hero or higher is 4%, that’s a 40% chance I should get one for a 10 spin, 14 times in a row, nothing. Wow. Add a pity system or fix the rng, afraid to go outside with this luck because lightning gonna strike me before I get an actual above average hero…
