AI Slop
Loved this game for so long but then they added ai slop all over it and it really ruins the experience :(
Relaxing Game
I’m enjoying this game very much. It’s a great way to wind down from the day between the easy on the eye graphics and calming music. I enjoy the little tales before each round as well. Unfortunately the game crashes often-specifically level 36. Any time I try to go into that round it completely closes the game. I’ve moved on and up to level 43, but after each round, it still tries to have me complete level 36. Hoping it’s an easy bug fix!
Could be better
At a base level the game is alright. The user interface is quite slow and the tutorial is a bit annoying, I don’t think you should force the player to use a hint if they do not want to. The biggest disappointment is the use of visual ai, it’s obvious and frankly tacky. The idea of the intro’s to the levels art fine but the execution is bad. I personally don’t really like them and I would much rather skip them, I am not interested so a skip option would be wonderful.
Glitch
Love this game but every time I get to level 36 the upper image doesn’t show up. Can’t find difference is there’s nothing to compare.

All my previous levels are now inaccessible unless I pay $8 to unlock them. Filled with terrible AI generated ads
Fun
Fun game and challenging but after last update level 36 radar the bottom view disappears as soon as you try to start so cant get past it, even deleted and redownloaded so had to start from beginning again and still same issue.
AI video starts the game?
seems super cute but the first thing when you open the app is an atrocious AI video. If that little care is put into the first impression, what does that say about the developers?
White characters only?
Could do without the characters at the beginning of each level all together. But if they’re going to be there, why are they all white people?? Cmonnnnnn

This is so good. The ambient music is so good and calming. It’s great to actually be using my brain instead of mindless scrolling.

The puzzles were very fun and challenging. I appreciate the art style. The levels are beautiful and very detailed. I hope more levels can be made! There are only a few issues I have with the game. It has a few bugs. For example, a street light is superimposed over the Ferris wheel on level 116. Additionally, I have completed all the levels except for the last one, however when I try to open the last level, I get a message that says all of the levels must be completed before. I am also left-handed, so I often accidentally hit the menu button when I am playing. It would be great if there was a setting for left-handed users.
Iron crosses
Fun game. But WEIRD amount of iron crosses. Which is more than one. Not sure why that would be in use at all
What's up with we weird characters now??
Have enjoyed this game for about a year and a half now the graphics are really nice. I wasn't sure if the sets were designed with AI, I hope not. But after this latest update now there's dumb AI characters popping up at the beginning of every new level for no reason? They are clearly AI designed, and don't match the cool aesthetic of the game. It's tacky and annoying. Suggestions: 1. Make seeing these characters optional 2. Have an optional timed mode.

Great game but an annoying bug
I absolutely love this game and the art style, however I’ve encountered a tiny bug that makes the game unplayable at times. Occasionally it will say that it is unable to load a video when trying to get a hint or replay the game after 3 misses. This would not be two bad of a problem, but I also find that some differences are very small and take me a couple of clicks to hit it exactly where I need to. Beacuse of this I’ve needed to replay a few of the levels completely despite having already solved them and it gets a bit annoying. A great game but could do with some cleaning up!
Constant Crashing
Every time you complete a level, the app crashes. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Even rebooting my device to no avail. Great game otherwise
Fun but keeps crashing
The game keeps crashing when finding the last difference. That’s in the level with the mountains and air balloons. iphone 14 pro with latest iOS. I deleted and redownloaded the app and I have to start from the beginning.

This is really fun. It’s simple and doesn’t have some ticking clock. The images are easy on the eye and make this game even more enjoyable. I was playing this on an iPad mini for a little while and that’s the smallest screen I think I could work with, but now I’m on an iPad Air and it’s a game changer. It gets increasingly harder to spot the differences as you play more levels and there are dozens of levels. I don’t know if this listing mentions how far it goes but I still haven’t found the end. I like how you can go back and play old levels and even move forward to future levels but you might lose your progress if you leave a level before completing it…you will lose the differences you’ve found if you close the app but it will save your progress as far as completions. They have other games and apps to experience if you like the style of this game. I downloaded them all but haven’t really explored them yet. Overall I say ten outta ten. Highly recommended.

This is the only game I play. One weird issue though.
This is a very low-stress game, suitable for any time of day or just before bed. It’s simple and streamlined. Not too many moving parts. Just find differences. For some reason, every time I open the app, it shows me level 14. I am on level 46 or something so I have to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to my current level. This is annoying and it’ll become a hassle when I get to the higher levels.
Ads ads ads
I finally quit because there was an ad after every single game and the last one had no option to get back to the game when it ended. Can we please just pay for the app? I saw no option for that.
like the levels
there no time limit except for a pop up after a min saying “do you need a hint?” over and over. as for ads the reason why writing a review is lot, i been getting ads when clicking on level, after a level for every level i been doing. that has been irritating me instead of calming.

Minor bug
Every time when I re-open the app, it starts from level 53, even though I have completed the level and have completed all the way to level 80+. Every single time
Inaccessible to magnification users
(Updating my previous review.) I could not get past the tutorial. It said to pinch to zoom, which I did, but then nothing happened. I tried tapping everything else on the screen but couldn’t figure out how to progress or actually play. Edit: I had to look up on YouTube to see if I was missing something and finally I worked out that it’s because I have my phone set to use larger text due to my low vision, so the “Next” in the tutorial is cut off at the bottom. It’s disappointing that I had to change my phone settings to something less comfortable in order to play this game. I urge the developers to learn about accessibility and make sure to test the game with disabled players using a range of devices and settings. As for the game, it’s nice, but the teething problems getting started have left a bad taste in my mouth.
Would be higher but..
To be honest this game is very well developed and I actually really like it, however, the ads are what makes the rating so low. I understand the need to have ads, but having them after every level gets annoying especially if you finish a level quickly. Other than that the graphics are crazy amazing and it really makes you have to look closely to see what the differences are.

What a disappointment
Very sad about this game. I can’t get past the tutorial on any device. When I try to touch the third difference, the game crashes. I’ve tried 3 different devices, all are updated and have plenty of memory. The developers other game works fine but this one does not. :-(
Love it, but a few suggestions
I love this game, but a some ideas that make sense. (1) If I purchase the package that removes the ads and gives me 25 hints, when I get 3 misses it basically resumes the level you were on and you don’t go through those tedious ads, but why not remove the ‘*bullseyes’ you’ve found starting you with a blank level. Otherwise, you have no penalty for those misses and you can use then haphazardly. (2) You need to program the app so that if you’re in the middle of a level and need to close the app, for whatever reason, when you open the app to continue the level is where it was when you left. I think these ideas would increase the enjoyment.

Fun game to play and was able to get pretty far. However at some point the app crashes after selecting the final difference and restarting looses all progress. Can not continue. Hopefully it gets fixed.
This game is so well done
I love find the differences games and this is the best one I’ve played in years. It’s just so well done. The differences sometimes are very subtle and that’s what makes this game so good. The differences are there but can be very hard to find at times, and to me that translates to a very well done game in this category. I was more than happy to pay the in app purchase to this developer, and I’m excited to see what they come up with in the future.
Garbage
Don’t waste your time. The game constantly crashes right when you find the final difference, then restarts on a different picture, all without giving you a score on your game before the crash. And to make matters worse, ADS, ADS, ADS, ADS, ADS, AND MORE ADS. this game is just a frustrating and colossal waste of time. Just awful. 👎

Would love to play this game. Beautiful scenes and music. After the first level, the game just shuts down and closes. Go back and you’re forced to start all over.

The Difference Here Is High Quality
I’m enjoying, Hideaways, a whole bunch so far. Spot The Difference games have always been some of my favorite types of games and this one is beautiful, very engaging and fun and has quite a refined aesthetic to it I believe. I also found the music to be very relaxing, calming and perfect for everything else in this title. And when I noticed that I could get rid of the advertisements permanently I jumped at the chance to make the in-app purchase. The price of $4.99 seemed very reasonable considering the quality present here and well worth the expense in my opinion. Many thanks to the developer for creating such a high caliber Spot The Difference video game in, Hideaways. I very much appreciate all of the time, hard work and passion that was no doubt put into building, maintaining and updating this title. Game crashes
I cannot get past the first stage where it introduces you to the game. Invites you to press a hint and press the difference and shuts shuts down to my home page. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no difference. A pitty because it looks beautiful.
Good but problems
It started off well but I noticed I can’t use hints, the video loads AFTER I complete the level. Also the app has started crashing. At first only when I tapped the last difference, but it seems to be more random now. I enjoyed it before the experience kept being interrupted.
Gorgeous art
Relaxing, wonderful music, gorgeous art. Great user design, i love that both images zoom when you pinch to zoom into one. It’s the “find the differences” game that i always wanted!
So many ads.
I don’t care how good your game is. If there’s an ad between every single level it’s annoying and not worth my time. Immediately brings the quality down by leaps and bounds if there’s that many ads.
Enjoyable challenge
This spot the difference puzzle is a fun challenge. The only issue I have with it is the hints. The game decides when to offer a hint (for the “price” of watching an ad), but there doesn’t seem to be a way to request one any other time. I rarely want a hint at the time when it’s being offered, but once in a while would like one when I choose.
No way to start?
It looks really pretty but there’s no way to start playing, I just get a screen with a white portion saying “Welcome to Hideaways” with no way to get past it.
Would have been good
The game looked nice but unfortunately has no landscape mode support for ipad, which for me makes it unplayable.
