Buggy
Frequent freeze instances - not tested/baked out properly - should also be designed to run in the background so the phone does not have to be on the app all the time. Seems like a project from some college kids trying to get a C in class.
Nützlich
Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten haben sich die meisten Probleme erledigt. Ich benutze die App jetzt seit einem Jahr in Thailand. Bis jetzt bin ich immer da angekommen wohin ich auch wollte. Da es die einzigste integrierte Lösung ist bleibe ich auch dabei. Verbindungs und Ortungsprobleme habe ich nicht. Bei Stops bleibt die App verbunden und somit ist keine neu Verbindung notwendig. Freue mich über neue Updates

Da migliorare la compatibilità wi-fi con Bluetooth
App abbastanza buona, lenta nella connessione e veloce nel mantenere la traccia e nelle informazioni. Consuma in maniera elevata la batteria del cellulare, quindi si rende necessario averlo sempre collegato alla ricarica. Il collegamento Wi-fi va in contrasto con quello bluetooth del tft impedendo di effettuare le chiamate. Questo aspetto sarebbe da rivedere.

Aplicativo falha muito e é lento. O celular demora conectar com a moto. Podia usar o Apple CarPlay que seria melhor. Em contra partida A Ducati presta um atendimento magnífico. Me respondeu e estão trabalhando na melhoria.

Scalda il telefono durante la navigazione riduce le prestazioni del iPhone 15 pro e di conseguenza blocca Sygic Devo Fermarmi Spegnere il telefono attendere che si raffreddi e poi ristabilire la connessione con la moto Risolvete questo problema per il resto funziona
C’est pas mal mais…..
J’aimerais savoir pourquoi quand je verrouille mon Iphone pour le mettre dans ma poche je n’ai plus la connexion Sygic avec la moto. Je suis obligé de le laisser allumé et automatiquement, celui-ci chauffe dans la poche. 🤷♂️ je pense que vous êtes au courant du problème, serait-il possible de faire un correctif. Merci 🙏

This app makes me regret the bio
This app and the navigation system on my 2025 Multistrada is so bad that I regret buying the bike. I don’t know who slept with somebody to get this approved or which executive’s nephew was given the contract, but it is absolute garbage. The app is beyond frustrating to use because it rarely functions enough to use. The phone doesn’t connect to the bike and no amount of fiddling will fix it. When you do manage to get a connection then you have to leave the phone unlocked and the display on, draining your battery. Also, be prepared because the phone will disconnect on a whim. I have both an iPhone and an Android and both have the same issues. Seriously, do not buy the Ducati with the intention of using this app. Assume that you will need a GPS or phone mount so you can use a real solution.
En amélioration
J’ai connu la première version de ducati connect couplé à SYGIC. Il était impossible d’utiliser la navigation . Après 4 ans, il y a eu beaucoup de monter de version et d’améliorations . Les déconnexions intempestive sont presque oubliées. Je rencontre encore quelques soucis liés à l’application SYGIC lenteur lors du recalcul de l’itinéraire lorsque que l’on programme plusieurs points de passage. Il n’est pas possible de supprimer un point de passage via ducati connect en cours de navigation . Il faut beaucoup pratiquer pour pouvoir naviguer sereinement et préparer ces favoris avant de partir. Encore un effort et ce sera parfait
Non all’altezza
Dopo Gs 1250 e relativo BMW Connect (praticamente perfetto) non si può avere un software così per un multistrada da viaggio della casa italiana più nota al mondo, e vincitrice degli ultimi mondiali MotoGP, in questo momento dopo la Ferrari. Da rivedere completamente; a tratti imbarazzante
Buona app MA…
App fatta bene e per il momento senza bug ma VI PREGO, date l’opportunità di poter spegnere lo schermo durante la marcia. Non possiamo sempre tenete lo schermo acceso soprattutto sotto il sole, in estate o sotto la pioggia. Si surriscalda, si rovina, si scarica la batteria. Motivo per il quale la maggior parte delle volte sono costretto a non utilizzare l’app per non voler aver questi problemi col telefono. Esperienza scritta da me ma condivisa e sottoscritta con e da tutti i biker ducatisti del club e non solo. VI PREGO RISOLVETE IN QUALCHE MODO❤️
Mal funcionamiento (Solucionado)
En iPhone 12 Pro Max da error al conectar la App, se queda la pantalla en negro total y no pasa a visual de pantalla de la motocicleta. (Solucionado) Al cabo de un tiempo, se ha solucionado sin hacer nada, al menos por mi parte.
Disappointed
I’ve just recently purchased a new 2023 Multistrada V4 Rally, which is an amazing motorcycle. The Ducati connect app is hit and miss due to needing to have the screen open on your phone, connectivity issues and needing to restart the pairing process whenever you briefly turn off the vehicle. The worst part is the Sygic GPS app that Ducati has decided to pair themselves with. After associating with high end brands like Bentley, Lamborghini, Poltrona Frau, and supreme, Ducati chose to lock themselves in with a cheap Chinese knockoff equivalent of a mobile mapping system. The Sygic app has issues with crashing, vague instructions, needing to download maps before routing, and a non user friendly interface. This app has left me stranded on a 1,100 mile road trip relying on a GPS on my $400 smart watch. Rather then maintain their status as the highest end motorcycle brand in every aspect (I own 4 and have a 5th on the way) they choose to instruct other reviewers that they must not be using the premium version they provide (I am). 4 years and over 20 complaints about Sygic and the response has not changed. If they equipped these vehicles with android auto and Apple car play, they could get rid of both of these apps and have 2 great options on a luxury touring motorcycle. The persistent mediocracy on this issue has me worried that Ducati is cutting corners on things that buys may not notice until after purchase.

Moto presa da poco. Ho fatto per ora 1.000km. Nulla da dire, l’ho impostato e va bene. Non avuto rallentamenti sulla guida, connessione stabile. Aspetto il periodo estivo per verificare il surriscaldamento del telefono. L’unico problema è che quando clicco sul pulsante cerca dal menu della moto si blocca e devo riavviare tutto.
Disconnessioni continue
Purtroppo con iPhone 11 Pro l’app si disconnette continuamente rendendo molte funzione della moto praticamente inutilizzabili. Senza una rapida ed efficace soluzione ai tanti problemi di stabilità di questa app fondamentale, la moto non risulta all’altezza della concorrenza sul piano delle funzionalità digitali ( telefono, navigazione ecc). Risolvete o molti utenti potrebbero valutare la vendita della moto a vantaggio di offerte più stabili ed economiche. Grazie

Ciao, oggi ho deciso di usare questa app per utilizzare il navigatore sul cruscotto. L’app non è male ma secondo me andrebbe migliorato qualcosina. Ho notato che quando il cell è connesso col Wi-Fi (iPhone 15 pro) si scarica molto velocemente (per mantenerlo vivo per un tempo ragionevole deve essere collegato per forza all’usb). Disconnessioni mai durante la marcia. Magari fare un aggiornamento in cui non debba rimanere sbloccato il cell per mantenere la connessione sarebbe una buona cosa. Il Sygic… non si è comportato male ma sarebbe bello poter utilizzare anche un’alternativa (nel mio caso CarPlay come in makkina). Ricordo che sul vecchio multistrada l’app faceva anche un resoconto del viaggio (angoli di piega, percorsi e quant’altro) che poi potevano esser condivisi con altri motociclisti. Sarebbe bello poter implementare anche un qualcosa di questi vista la grande tecnologia di questa moto. Per il resto il problema principale comunque resta il drenaggio di energia del cell. Certo che starete già lavorando a qualche aggiornamento che vada in questa direzione, vi saluto e vi auguro un buon lavoro. #forzaducati sempre
Useless
For navigation to work, they want you to sign up for a subscription to a map service I have never even heard of. Furthermore, the app wants access to your location at all times… As far as integration with the bike, yes it will start with Bluetooth and try to establish a high bandwidth WiFi connection, but I am not sure for what purpose. If you have a Multistrada, get the Evotech mount for the GPS of your choice. The bike will still allow call management on the dash without it.

La sto usando da un paio di mesi su Multistrada , qui funziona bene . Se posso dare dei suggerimenti : -ritengo un po’ lenta in connessione - su musica al giorno d’oggi è impossibile non poter usare Spotify - sarebbe utile poter vedere anche altre app del cellulare ( tipo whatsapp) . Inoltre andrebbe sistemata in modo che possa funzionare anche con schermo spento perché se non colleghi al carica il cellulare si scarica in poco tempo . Attendo nuovi aggiornamenti
INCENDIA IL TELEFONO!
Ma è possibile che un’azienda seria come Ducati non abbia fondi da investire in qualcuno che è riesca a programmare questa app in maniera che funzioni anche in background a schermo bloccato?? Per il resto funziona bene (iPhone) ed è davvero un peccato che si perdano in un bicchier d’acqua! FATE QUALCOSA!!!
Funzionamento mirroring con blocco schermo
L’app funziona bene ed è studiata molto bene, sarebbe molto interessante poter usare il mirroring anche con lo smartphone bloccato, questo aiuterebbe sopratutto nella gestione del calore. Non metto 5 stelle proprio per questo altrimenti sarei decisamente soddisfatto
Premium bike - sub par navigation
With a bike that has all the bells and whistles, adaptive cruise, blind spot lights, automatic load adjustment, etc. I expected to be able to have a navigation system on my Multistrada V4 Rally that actually works. After 17 months and 20,000 miles I have to say that this is the worst navigation and communication system I have ever experienced. Even the cheap rental cars come with Apple CarPlay. C’mon Ducati, be the premium motorcycle company that I know you are and update the software to allow for Apple CarPlay! Yes, I will pay extra for it. It’s embarrassing that a high tech company like Ducati makes its owners suffer with this nav system. Even HD has Apple CarPlay now.

L’app mi piace grande idea soprattutto belle le interfacccia con il navigatore sulla moto. Ma è un gran peccato che l’app funzioni solo in mirroring facendo diventare dopo poco il telefono incandescente ed inutilizzabile.. per favore modificare l’app in modo tale che funzioni anche con il telefono bloccato o con altre app aperte come i normali car play.

Wifi connection needed for maps
I seem to need to be hooked up to wifi to download ducati connect . To use map app. I can pair Bluetooth with my iPhone , no problem. But if I turn off the bike and dont have wifi How do I get maps back on the display ?

Ogni volta che l'attivo, a parte che la devi attivare come se fosse un programma per allenarsi.. con il Tasto Start.., si porta via buona parte di connessione tanto da far funzionare male qualsiasi altra App. Mah…
User experience
Buongiorno, ho trovato L app molto carina ed intuitiva, peccato pecchi di gioventù e di uno sviluppo serio con i clienti. Una volta in “connected mode” non riesci più a vedere il cockpit originale..sarebbe opportuno poter entrare ed uscire dal mode connected come avviene per CarPlay in tutte le auto..con magari solo miniature della direzione del navy
Useless app. Borderline dangerous.
The app uses a wifi connection between your phone and the bike that needs to be restarted through multiple steps every time you turn off the bike, or get a phone call, or use another app, or just because it feels like it. Even after you get it running, and before it disconnects, there is only one choice for navigation (Sygic) and no streaming music. And again, if you get a call, poof disconnected so, dont. Texts? HahaHa. Also, you need to leave your phone unlocked and the app open, so it needs to be in the phone pocket with the usb plug or youll be dead battery land in :30. So, forget your phone and someone else will have your unlocked phone in their grubby hands. The only good thing this app has going for it is that it is so bad nobody will use it.
Better than I thought going in
I figured using this was going to be absolute garbage. As it turns out the nav is functional enough once you do the very silly connection dance and I’m glad it has default offline maps. Needing to leave the phone on is pretty jank but likely a limitation from apple/Google. Low power popups when the phone hits 10% cause the navigation to freeze without any indication on the dash, which is suboptimal. It’s a bit mystifying why Ducati went with this over CarPlay. Would love to hear why they think Bosch MySpin (which this is a reskin of AFAIK?) is better than the platform native auto integrations.
Mediocre app with poor intigration
In general the updates have made it more useable and whilst connection issues seem fixed most of the time it still locks up while in nav and always at the worst possible moment. The nav has zero ability to replan the route with traffic or diversions and also tries to return you in a loop to the original route rather than find a new one. The mirroring does not produce anywhere near as clear a map as the Sygic stand alone app either. I also have problems with the phone function as it loses volume and won’t allow the boom mic to function, so utterly pointless for calls. For info it’s an iPhone 13 with a Cardo freecom x4 all fully updated. Shame you didn’t just add apple car play as many others have now done though the offline mapping isn’t available

Unacceptable from a premium manufacturer
I installed this and all needed apps to make it work, it doesn’t work for the US. Similar results posted on many Ducati forums, this app only works in a few European countries. I installed this on my 2022 pikes peak multistrada V4 and I have now erased everything and installed an expensive garmin gps in combination with my iphone to manage my music and gps duties. In 2022, for a +30k motorcycle from a premium manufacturer, only a proven app like Apple CarPlay and android auto should have been installed like all other premium manufacturers are installing in their vehicles.
funktioniert super mit Iphone12mini
Navi, Musik, Anrufe (Schuberth C4pro mit Sena) funktioniert super! ich habe sehr viel Musik auf dem Handy und brauche kein Amazon/Spotify etc, aber manche besitzen keine eigene Sammlung. bei mir: Keine Abstürze auf bisher 3000km. Sagenhaft, hätte ich vom Reifegrad und Preisniveau auch erwartet , andere Hersteller liefern trotz hoher Preise nicht entsprechend. Crash-Detection auf dem Handy (SoS) wäre auch etwas schönes. aktuell: Jetzt gab es vorgestern ein iOS Update (Pegasus-Lücke?) , leider geht nun BT, WLAn, aber beim Start von Ducati Connect am Motorrad , wird eine Meldung angezeigt und die Verbindung / Mirroring scheitert. Toll wäre, wenn man die Handy-Lautstärke am Motorrad einstellen könnte. Toll wäre, wenn Calimoto (Bosch mySpin geprüft) auch zur Auswahl stehen würde, statt A-B Navigation auch mal kurvenreiche Wegführung.
Poorly designed app. Needs fixing.
Regardless of how difficult it may be to set this up and get it running, I would like to point out the poor app design/user experience for the following: Why have Ducati used very small black text on a red background which is incredibly hard to read, for all the important info?!?! Please change this to white and increase the font size! Also having to leave the phone unlocked the whole time to use the app makes the phone run hot and is a security risk.
Läuft gut, aber viel zu geringe Lautstärke
Die Verbindung zwischen Ducati Connect und Sygic funktioniert, die Navigation an sich auch. Aber weder mein SRC System von Schuberth, noch das SENA K30 liefert ausreichend Lautstärke. Telefonieren und Navigation mit Sprache sind nicht möglich, Handy ist ein IPhone12pro und die Lautstärke auf Max. Alles andere wist genau nach Anleitung eingestellt worden.
More problematic than useful
Like many if not all other reviewers App Store, the app (and Ducati’s general multimedia strategy) is far more problematic than it is useful. It’s decision to go with a bit player third-party non-integrated navigation provider, its complexity, inconsistent reliance on taking over your entire phone, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth while in use, etc., make this app extremely cumbersome and so unreliable that it is absolutely more of a hindrance than useful.
keine Verbindung mehr möglich
nach einer Woche ist plötzlich keine Verbindung mehr möglich mit Inphone 12 Pro. Die App rödelt und rödelt, keine Fehlermeldung, nichts, Neuinstallation hat nichts gebracht. bis dahin war ich begeistert. Zwei Wochen nach dieser Bewertung wurde ich sowohl von Ducati als auch von Apple Kontaktiert und mir wurde Hilfe angeboten. Inzwischen hatte ich durch komplette Neuinstallation selbst wieder alles hinbekommen. Nun arbeitet alles wie es soll. Schade, dass die Navi App nicht nordweisend eingestellt werden kann oder spezielle Motorradstrecken gewählt werden können, ansonsten gut, nicht sehr gut.
Poor choice Ducati
The whole world understands Google maps and CarPlay. Ducati chose to go exclusively with Bosch, requiring a subscription for simple things like speed limits, in an extremely clunky set up over wifi that fails frequently unless you leave your ohone wide open, unlocked always. This is a massive hack, not to mention security risk, a super clunky solution and well beneath what anyone buying even a cheap car now a days would expect ... let alone on the top of the line touring bike from Ducati. Total #Fail Ducati. Disappointed. The only reason i gave it 2 stars not 1, is because if you fight with it enough, do all the stupid and insecure things it says to do, and do not stray off the path, it can work. But, come on! I expect more for a top of the line Multistrada navigation solution in 2021. Poor showing.
Works pretty good but not flawless
It definately takes time to setup properly and get it to work with youre specific phone and headset(s). But once its working, its pretty convienant. I find I can’t get music songs to roll from one song to the next using the ducati connect menu. However, I can get it all to work if I first start the music from the main music function in settings. After that i can go into ducati connect menu suite without issue.
