I‘d give it one star for a crappy story, blatantly bad dialogues, and worst of all the horrible fighting and shooting scenes that are just in the wrong game. However the puzzles are ok. Nothing really new, but solid standard stuff. Still wouldn‘t recommend the game
Cracking game
Love this game. Smooth controls, difficult puzzles.BUT the main character Falcon is SO ANNOYING!!! I intensely dislike his childish and flippant attitude so much , that I’m starting to root for the Bad Guys……
Just relaxing fun
Enjoyed playing this very much. It’s a great way to relax but focus without tons of pressure. Definitely one of the best games I played in a long while.
Rätsel ja, Faustkämpfe nein danke
Ging ganz gut los, viele kleine Rätsel, dann aber kamen Faustkämpfe hinzu, das erschließt sich mir gar nicht… App dann gleich wieder gelöscht..
Casual fun, didn’t enjoy the action
For a free game, this is top notch. It’s pretty long and the puzzles are on par with others in the genre. The dialogue is kinda over the top but they lean into the absurdity of it so I like it. Parts of the UI felt kind of slow. Like I had to wait for a message to disappear before I could click something else. That may or may not be true, just felt not as peppy as, say, the Haiku games. Action scenes were frustrating for me. Maybe there’s a strategy for the punching but I just hammered the two punch buttons until the block or power up were available. It usually worked but wasn’t satisfying. Didn’t enjoy the shooting segments either. Once or twice maybe but having to get four or five headshots to escape a prison changed the dynamic of the game too much for my liking. Still it’s hard to argue you don’t get bang for your buck. I’m guessing it’s free so the developers can get relatively constructive feedback so here I am. Though I wish them luck, I personallly wouldn’t want to sift through a sea of “it no work” comments to get something useful.
Poor controls—cheap knockoff of Adventure Escape
First: took me three tried to write this review. Mysteriously, every time I gave it 2 or 3 stars to start writing I could not get my keyboard to work. But as soon as I gave a “4” my keyboard worked. Wth? Second: very poor controls on iPhone 13. Touch sensitivity is pretty bad, making a lot of the puzzles much harder simply because they would not respond. Has happened to other Hidden Escape games as well, hence why I labeled this as a wannabe Adventure Escape game (far superior developer…go play all their games first and then compare to these). Good graphics but the writing is really bad (not looking for Pulitzer material here, but this is awful and takes away from the story). Overall, probably “3” but taking off an additional star for the nonsense regarding leaving a review. May not be their fault (looking at you Apple), but with past games also this bad a “2” seems fair. Also…boxing matches in this game are atrocious. Lagging controls and just plain poor quality. Leave them out and stop trying to make this anything but a puzzle game.

The puzzles were very very hard and the game doesn’t save your progress so you have to do all of the puzzles again

Sterne
Hab das Spiel kurz nach beginn des 2 Level deinstalliert. Grund: Ständig wurden Sterne für Tipps abgezogen obwohl ich nicht auf Tipps geklickt habe
Pretty fun
The puzzles are fun. Some of them need the walk through, however, the walk through would not be needed if there were some instructions. The hints are too expensive because they are not helpful if you are not in the correct room..
Please make more levels more frequently!
Love these games just wish they put out more new games more frequently!

Not as Good as Murder on Ship
I really liked the Murder Mystery on the ship game but this one is not nearly as good. The fight scenes at the prison were 100% unwinnable because the fists and defense were timed , whereas the guard could punch and block constantly. The power up punch was always blocked by the guard and could only be used once but the guard’s uppercuts (yes, plural) always landed. I had to use almost all my stars to bypass those as I tried repeatedly and there was no value in continuing. I found that part of the game completely frustrating and dissatisfying. The dialogue is also downright silly.

Awesome game!
Totally disappointing
Even using a walkthrough the clues and solutions don’t match. Entering the correct code revealed in the shower doesn’t open the drawer in the bedroom like it’s supposed to.

Not too bad but some puzzles had no rhyme or reason. The big issue was with the target shooting. You need to slow the ball down and give ample time without restarting all over or have the option to skip it. I would have enjoyed it more I don’t mind challenges but it was way ridiculous

Not very responsive
I have a brand new iPad Air. Most of the time the controls on the game don’t respond. Often have to press something multiple time to get an action.
Was enjoying, but can't open game now
I was enjoying this. I downloaded it because the last one (Cruise murder one) was fun. But now every time I try to start the game to continue playing it tells me it can't load and to check my internet. My internet connection is fine. Maybe their server(s) is down? I'll up the rating to 5 if you guys can fix that, lol.
Leider enttäuschend
Ich habe nun schon einige Escape Games durchgespielt. Auch das andere von diesem Entwickler (lost temple). Leider hat mich dieses hier nun gar nicht überzeugt. Die Rätsel waren zum Teil nicht logisch nachzuvollziehen oder nur durch ausprobieren zu lösen. Gestört hat mich auch, dass es gerade ab Mitte des Spiels immer wieder Aufgabe war, Gegner mit Steinen oder Waffen zu treffen. Hier musste man im richtigen Moment auf den Bildschirm tippen, um den Gegner zu treffen. Abgesehen davon, dass dies auf Grund der Geschwindigkeit, mit der sich der Zielpunkt bewegte zum Teil sehr schwer war, finde ich, dass dies in einem Rätsel-Spiel nur wenig verloren hat. Außerdem wird es auf Dauer so ziemlich langweilig. Letztendlich konnte ich das Spiel jedoch nicht zu Ende spielen, da ein Rätsel auf Grund eines Programmierfehlers nicht lösbar war. Das zu bewegende Zahnrad rutschte nicht in die dafür vorgesehene Bahn. So hätte ich Sterne kaufen müssen oder mehrere Tage lang warten müssen, um die erforderlichen Gratissterne zu erhalten, um dieses Rätsel überspringen zu können.
Fun but glitchy
The game itself is pretty fun to pass the time if you’re bored, but I purchased a bunch of stars which included ad free, and I’m still getting tons of ads popping up like every couple minutes. And there’s no way to reach support on the app. So if you don’t mind being forced to watch 30 second ads quite frequently, it’s a good game.
Solid 4+
Just finished chapter 3 and so far so good. It takes a bit of thought no doubt about it, but if it was totally easy then what kind of challenge would that be? The puzzles aren’t too bad and some seem quite simple, but then others can be frustrating. One can always view the walkthrough if so desired and you’re about to pull your hair out. Hmm if your bald don’t try this alone! Overall you can’t beat the price and can play pretty much how little or lot you like. Nothing to go wrong here…. The puzzles do seem to get harder!

Tried for ages to get the game to start after downloading. Won’t go past first screen. Won’t get any others from this developer.

I really do love all the digital story/escape room game apps from Haiku games. My biggest frustration with this game is the amount of ads that you go through…
Not a fan
The actual puzzles are mediocre in creativity but all the shooting/fighting games are exhausting and almost impossible to win so be prepared to be frustrated by either constant retries or endless videos for stars to skip.

I tried playing 3or 4 times but the game wouldn’t load after I’d clicked ‘begin’. Said my device wasn’t connected to the internet when it clearly was. Pity, I was looking forward to playing.

As I stuck with this developer because of the last app game I played it was 5star I played 24-7 and it was fun to search for clues that I might missed but this game does not give you NOTHING! Story line good but that’s it

Just so-so
There are things about this I really like - challenging puzzles I actually had to think about, funny dialogue, good graphics. But then some of the puzzles made NO SENSE whatsoever! I think I’m pretty smart and some of them were so over my head I had to look at outside videos to pass them. And the clues were no help “Use the clues to solve the puzzle” LOL - thanks! Like that’s what I’ve been trying to do. So I finally just had to stop playing because it was getting ridiculous. Too bad.

Horrible
If I could give 0 stars I would because the game lags so badly and it happened to all my friends and we were so mad at first I thought that it was just my device acting up but no there is a problem which the game because again it happened to all my friends I tried to play it for like 20 minutes then gave up then I tried again the next day still didn’t work then I told my friends about it they tried it and it lagged for them to I deleted the game when I saw that it didn’t work for them the only reason I am writing this review is so other people won’t get this game
I like the game
I like the game but some of the puzzles are so small to play this on my phone. When you have to move tiny pieces, my finger covers one maybe 2 pieces so it is hard to get them in the precise location needed.
Fun but hit a glitch
Fun, challenging game but I’ve now hit a glitch preventing me from going any further. I just started (I think) chapter 6. Bummer!
