False Advertising
Update : I got a response from the app developer but I can reassure you I was charged the first day I started the free trial. I also saw other reviews saying the same thing so I know it’s not just me. I had to contact Apple for a refund . I WILL NOT BE USING THIS APP! It said 7 day free trial and it charged me $86.89 the same day I started the free trial. Scam

I love this app. But I have 1 request. Can we please and the sauna to the list pls?
Lagging
Would have loved to try this app out but it crashed and closed app twice. Fix that and I may try it again.
Meh
I did pay for the app for a while used it for a year and it was cool but like 6 months after I stopped paying for it the app randomly took away features and a lot of the splits seemed random and more of a stay active type of routine

Achieve goals but experience has room for improvement
I really like the variety of exercises, the planning it helps with, the alternatives I can replace with, and the progress tracking. So it’s not bad in basic achievements. Where it falls short is structure of the plans. It groups the same muscle groups one set after the next instead of providing an alternative between so I’m always reorganising. When you superset if there is a short break exercise sheet a long it will give you rest for the short, not the set. Calves do not exist in automated plans but are so important for day to day and full body. It doesn’t seem to prioritise activities I call out for. The AI comment section at the end of the set seems a waste. Compared to the alternatives on the store this is one of the best available.

Good to start with but found better off using chat got or such Very little change in workouts just gives rise and repeat work outs And when I tried removing and substituting work outs it would just add them back into the same session I was on the paid premium and cancelled
Torn
I’m torn because I like the app overall but it’s not recognizing my subscription. I literally paid maybe two weeks ago and it’s charging me again. Also, I got a new phone and I’m trying to install it there but it’s does not pull the data and is making me start over again. Extremely frustrating.
Really good app, helped me grow.
This app is amazing for planning and tracking your workouts, i love that it does progressive overload for you, and it has just about every workout imaginable. The lil thing at the end that says “you lifted 6k lbs today” is pretty cool, it makes me feel good about the workout. The progressive overload part of it is just great, it keeps track of the weights and reps for you and slowly increases them over time. It’s also all free, there’s a premium part of it but you really don’t need it.

These are some really nice people creating this app. I just wish there weren’t so many issues all the time.
Disappointed
I’ve had this app for over a year and it has been really helpful in the gym. Sadly, the updates have been making it really difficult to use. The app no longer notifies me when the rest timer is up which is a pretty crucial feature. I was told by developers that the app was never designed to vibrate or make a noise when the timer is ends which is weird because it used to. Regardless, I’m going to have to find another workout app. If I were you I’d look elsewhere.

Charging for free trial
They literally advertise a 7 day free trial and two days into the free trial they charge me 40$. Luckily I was able to get a refund, writing this to warn other perspective users , don’t fall for this deception.
Love app and plans
I liked this application as I was looking for a plan or guidance and also able to log workouts and see charts and all exercises. This shows you all exercise and mentions all aspects of exercise in detail. Apple watch feature and voice AI features are really good and keeps you on track. I am taking away one rating because apple watch and Phone logging is not in completely sync up-to seconds. Rest time continues on phone whereas watch rest time is over. I wish it shows same time on phone and watch and controlling or logging at one device keeps in sync at both places.
Disconnect Problem
You guys gotta fix the Disconnected problem as soon as possible before losing more users of your app, So far just two weeks of being in the app I faced this problem twice already and I need to delete and redownload it again. There are many workout app out there. Stop making us disappointed.
Love app. But updates break it.
Last 2 updates have made it so I can’t open and use the app - it was working fine this morning, updated app, now it only opens to show Planfit and won’t move no matter how many times I reset my phone and app.

I used to love this app
I used to love this app and have been using it regularly, but ever since the recent updates, I’ve noticed several issues starting to pop up — one of the biggest being with how weights are displayed. When I enter my workout weights in pounds, the app now converts and shows them as long decimal numbers instead of clean, rounded figures. For example, if I type in 45 lbs, it shows something like “20.41164 lbs” or “36.28736 lbs.” It seems like the app might be converting entries to kilograms internally and then re-displaying them incorrectly. This makes tracking confusing and really takes away from the otherwise smooth experience the app used to offer. I’ve double-checked my unit settings, and they’re definitely set to pounds. Please look into fixing this issue — I’d really like to keep using Planfit the way I used to enjoy it.

More confident workout
This app helps so much with my workout! From the Ai “Coach” keeping me motivated and on track to the easy workout plans. It’s very detailed and customizable. I have been way more consistent and I can plug equipment at La fitness so I can easily pick machines. This app is great.
Worst customer support
My premium features did not get activated after purchase. No response or resolution from app support. Contacted them multiple times. Lost money.
Language choices
The app has really helped me to focus. I love that you just tell it what equipment you have and let it generate a plan even in the free version. I will probably bump up to the paid version soon because I’m starting to see real results. My ONLY complaint is that in the “instructions” part of some of the exercises that I have clicked into to make sure I’m doing them right, they are written in a language that I can’t read. I’ve went through all the setting screens to see if maybe I had something set wrong but I don’t see an option to change languages. Other than that, this is a wonderful app. Thank you!
Why is app crashing every 5 minutes?
App would be 5 stars if it would not crash in the middle of each set. Starting to think I want my $80 back if this is t fixed soon!
Helpful app, but…
I actually really enjoy this app as it has helped me maintain a good routine as well as tracking progress. The problem is that a lot of other useful features are locked behind a premium paywall. I should not have to pay a subscription fee for wanting to exclude certain exercises from plans. Also there needs to be an option to copy/paste routines to planned days.

Been going to for about a month doing the same thing treadmill. My fist workout was try gym guide.
Ruined a good thing.
This used to be a great app. They’ve completely ruined it. Moving on to another workout app.
Training split
One of the main things holding me back from subscribing is the lack of flexibility in setting up training splits, such as an upper-lower routine. I’ve tried customizing it manually by adjusting target muscles, but the limited options — especially for leg exercises — make it difficult to create a balanced program. For example, I often end up with six upper body exercises and only three for lower body. I also hope the app will offer better integration with Apple Watch in the future. Other apps allow users to view the current exercise video directly on the watch, which is really helpful during workouts. This kind of feature would make the experience much smoother and more convenient.
Is it really worth it
I like the app but it also has its cons not a lot of the features work. Steps are not correct, when moving onto the next exercise the sound doesn’t automatically let you know rest is up , no countdown alert, paying for an app where staff take a long while to reply and not all the problems you encounter either the app gets resolved. Which is not worth paying a monthly fee.
Probably my favorite workout app
I am a beginner, and I’ve tried a bunch of the workout apps but this one seems to be the only one that’s very easy to use. My only gripe is the Apple Watch app is VERY buggy, some of the workouts show up in a different language, possibly Chinese or Japanese? I wish also the watch app can run independently from the phone like the other workout apps in addition to controlling the music. Sometimes the timer dismisses itself as well. Also, if you change the reps/weight on the app it doesn’t take effect 80% of the time, so I have to pull out my phone and change it from there.

Never suggests any weight lifting only body weight exercises. Very difficult to navigate and find a workout that works for me. Regret my subscription.
Apple Watch
I liked the app and was hoping it was going to be like the one I’m currently using which records everything on the Apple Watch activity rings , workout time was but the calories was not , it was recorded on Apple health but did not close the rings on the activity rings on the watch so will stick with my current app till this happens
👎 A.I Coach Rushes your sets
The AI Coach counts your sets, but there should be an option to slow down the set timing. It currently feels too fast, and I’m concerned this could lead to injuries. I asked the AI Coach how to adjust the set speed, and it directed me to the settings, but the option isn’t actually there. This is my only issue with the app. Until they fix it, I wouldn’t recommend paying for the premium version. Will review again in 6 weeks.
Good app but no music
I like the app, clear instructions. Good workouts. Nice connectivity. However it keeps knocking my music out. Meaning I feel like I’m going back to my phone during a workout way more than I should be. Very distracting

Very good, but it could improve
Great app, I just wish I could see better how to do the exercises. The video is a bit too small, I cannot move the video so see from different angles, and it’s also too small to understand which muscles are involved in the exercises. I wish I could also see a section where i could choose to train on certain areas ( inner chest for example)
Meh
I thought it was okay for my trial, but now several weeks in I’m seeing that workouts are the same every week. I hoped it might help me branch out to try some different exercises and machines. On leg day for the last month it’s had BOTH leg curl and standing leg curl, one after other on the plan. Seriously? And every single time, I replace one of them with a different exercise. Where is the personalisation and realisation that I don’t want what you’re providing?
Immature
I found the app is having issue with the apple watch synchronisation. Phone and Watch, both devices show independent progress. Also, there is connectivity issue between phone and watch many time. The watch interface is not friendly as it goes beyond the screen, ideally it’s expected to display the information within the screen. I doubt about the AI capability as well because it’s not that smart. It must have some chatbot always available to take user inputs in Natural language and tweak The exercise accordingly.

SCAM ALERT
READ PLS…. I try it once ! On day one of the free trial and never used ever again due to glitching and workout going out of pace base on what the person speak …anywho and never got a notification that the trail was over … and got hit with a 87.09+ charged and i try to get a refund and they said it didn’t qualify for a refund after i explained the issue that when on … VERY FRUSTRATING!
Issues
I tried to give it a go and installed it on my phone. I started by going through the questionnaire but I got stuck where it asks you what gym you’re going to. It can’t find the gym I’m going to and when I tried to add it (request to add) the app crushes.
Good idea, but so many bugs
This is a good app for finding out about new exercises and easily getting a structured exercise, but during my 5 days of use so far, I’ve come across number of issues with the app that I hope the developers can correct following this review. 1. The app suddenly quits if you select ‘instructions’ during a workout. 2. The warm up and cool down exercises are timed and they start immediately after each other, meaning there’s no time to get into position or prepare. Also, there’s no advice as to how many times to do stretches or any other details. 3. Sometimes the descriptions jump between languages, e.g to Chinese, even though I have English selected. 4. The countdown jingle and ‘AI’ coach do not continue when you lock your phone, which is very frustrating if you have your app in your pocket.
