The App is a wonderful tool to help you get your hands on services .
Worst App
Deserves less than zero. But it actually may not be the app but the DC staff or who ever manages the website and those who apparently are tasked with providing technical support as well as customer service. USELESS/POINTLESS! Four years seeking help because I am not able to see my daughter’s case information online and no one at DD can figure out the problem. She will be 18 in a few months and maybe then I may not need to interact with DD ever again!
Password reset
The app is pretty helpful my only concern is when you try to reset your password, it’s almost impossible to get back in . I’m still not able to access my account even though I follow the instructions to reset my password

Tech Issues
The app idea, overall, is a great one but it needs improvements with tech and user friendly usability, as it is stressful to need government assistance while an app is malfunctioning.
Can’t log in
I’ve been trying to log in on the app for days and it won’t let me. It says something about my password. When I try to log in using a web browser it works fine. This app needs to be updated and the bugs fixed.

Upload information apply for services on the app to never get a response and still be told you have to come to a service center what is the point of District Direct

My documents take forever to be approved through the app. The app also closes on certain phone models.
40 acres and a mule..
I appreciate the District Direct and thoughtful inventors of this service. It’s not always easy to get to the offices when you’re disabled and unemployable due to past non compliant corporations not being accountable for unsafe work environments. I am permanently injured physically and mentally from past work experiences over worked with no lasting health benefits or compensation. Due to the government not holding them responsible and want us to get on food stamps and Medicaid. Thanks for the convenience and support on this app. I appreciate the compassion and understanding.

Confusing questions
I had to look up the citizenship question — derivation what? I hold a passport and was born in the US to American parents. Your questions don’t align. I’m liberal but even these questions and biased at best.
Response time
My account has been closed due to improper mailing and on top of that frustrating situation my account was closed and now that I’ve did my part I still haven’t received anything from the direct team telling me what to do next

Do better
You all created this app to make it easier for you all to dismissed and ignore people case. The app never works and always has a maintenance problem. What is the point of having people use the app as an option if you all will not check people papers or information on time... then want to penalize the recipient apply or recertify. This app supposed to help more that be a hassle and I'm disabled so I know people like me the depends on this app because they can't sit nor stand for a long period of time or difficult to move most days smh I know is frustrating.

I gave all my paperwork to DC Human Service Center and everything remaining the same on the same district direct and nothing was updated or anything was changed to give my foodstamp back to normal and my snap programs renewal is to 2027 why every month it’s seem like I have to keep sending verification letters on District Direct and the circumstances changes is very difficulty to understand it.
