I love that I don’t have to instruct my delivery drivers where to go. They just follow the map!
No right support in case of payment issues
I was required to prepay before my order was even processed. Couldn’t reach anyone by phone, and when someone finally answered, the process was slow and confusing. After confirming the payment had been reversed and asking for a reliable payment option, they just stopped responding, even though my messages were seen. This turned what should be a 30-minute delivery into hours of waiting with no resolution.

I love this app, don’t get me wrong but they take ages. The time give is always not upheld

As i client i would like to be able to order food and grocery in one order so that i dont have to pay for delivery twice just saying

The restaurant didn’t pack the sandwich well the wrapper is all stuck to the sandwich and can’t be removed

Useless app
All order tracking is fake. Always give excuse of food not being ready at the restaurant. Customer service always keeps wrong updates. Worst customer service ever.

App so good, I have to delete it after using to stop ordering food! Love the customer service and quick feedback. They can just work on the map, sometimes it’s glitches and it’s hard to track the driver.

Very good but…
Probably the best shopping app in Tanzania. However certain things need improvements. 1- Delivery time takes very long (1-2 hours late) and drivers should at least know how to use gps , 2- payment via visa are not always successful and it is safer to use mobile payments, 3- it should be mandatory for all shops/restaurants to provide pictures for all their items, 4- and lastly I hope the organization hears and follows up on users feedback

Mary Brown chicken pieces
Every time I order Mary brown online and sometimes in store, instead of giving different types or parts of the chicken. They always put Breast and Ribs parts. If I buy an 4 piece i expect 4 different parts or pieces.

It takes an hour-90mins longer for food to arrive from the app compared to direct ordering from the restaurants which takes 30-40mins, the prices charged from the app are very high compared to actual stores

some delivery are can took 2 hours but generally it’s working. the customer support is good. no possibility to review the restaurant.

You can automatically pay with card, search for any dish or restaurant and the app shows you what you have ordered previously from the same Resturant making it very easy to ordered what you liked again.

Extremely poor service every time from this company, save yourself the hassle and avoid downloading the App. Other service providers are much better than Duka Direct.
Language used
It will greatly assist non Swahili speakers if there’s an option to choose English to understand instructions when making payment. Other than that, great App, easy to search for restaurants and menu’s!

Terrible service from Saverios
I ordered my food 2 hours ago and it still hasn’t arrived. This is Pathetic. Not sure if it’s the restaurant of the delivery but it’s not feasible at all
Exceptional food
Mbuzi both choma and foil was sooo good! Huge portion, ate it over two days. Mzuzu was soft and sweet and chips Mayai was good too. Highly recommending this place! Also, all arrived nice and hot! Please provide pilipili too next time.
