So here’s the thing, I supported the ace family since Elle was a baby so I think that , here’s the thing with most of their apps and stuff like ace club that cost money to get in so I was like so I was like maybe it would be fun to try it out but then it cost money monthly for live streams and giveaway ,then there like for the real ace family member can get on but most ace family member can’t really afford it and stuff ,so I’m like most people like myself don’t have a lot of money to spend on things like this ,so it’s like when u get this app it’s like you’ll get three games that are free and everything else is five dollars , so your spending at least 25 to $40 just for like a couple of game which I get you’re trying to make money and stuff but like some people don’t have the money to buy unnecessary things ,not like this is a unnecessary but like you get what I’m trying to say. So if it really about the toddlers dont make it about money. I am a true ace family supporter so this app means a lot but like the problem is it’s about the money so I support the app and everything,but it’s about the money that makes it’s hard to like.

My 3 year old nephew loves all the games from this developer. They are just the right skill level for him. He’s learned shapes, colors, and numbers. Only wish there was something for learning the alphabet.

Was excited to try this game out for my 2 year old daughter then I started reading the comments and saw only the first THREE levels are free then you have to pay 5$ to get to each level. That is RIDICULOUS, I know it’s a way to make money , but not all of their supporters can afford it. If they really wanted to make it “about the kids” then why couldn’t they really make it free like they promoted so much? Never once did I hear anything about you having to pay 5$ for EACH level after that . Or them saying this was only a sample .

Only 3 free levels
My 3 year loves it but quickly got bored. There is only 3 free levels you have to pay for all the others, which is ridiculous. Why not make the game completely free? We have a global pandemic going on and everyone is in a financial struggle.

My son loves this game! He plays it everyday! Personally, I think it’s nice game but I also think it could be better in a “learning” aspect. The price is reasonable. For those people complaining about this game not being free. Just stop. Nothing in this world is free, everything has a price. It really doesn’t matter if we have been their supporters since day 1, we still have to pay. That’s their hustle. Their “Ace Club” is $20.16/MONTH for crying out loud! Even in this pandemic. I purchased the unlocked version and four of the games don't work. When I pick those games the app crashes. The games are also way too easy for my four year old.

I downloaded this game for my nephew, happy to support the ACE Family but finding out that you have to pay to unlock games isn’t good. Some people, myself included, don’t have the extra money to pay to unlock levels. And they shouldn’t promote the game is “free” when technically it’s not. They should promote that the game is free but you do have to pay to unlock those extra levels. I’m sorry but the ACE Family isn’t meant to come out with apps. Look at what happened to their first app they came out with. Supposedly you pay to get behind the senses of the ACE Family content and I’ve read many reviews that nothing really happened and they paid for nothing.

Only some levels are free then you have to pay for the rest. If they say something is free then the whole thing should be free. With the 3 free levels played it got super boring.

Hello, I am a teacher who specializes in Early Childhood Education. I have worked diversely with a range of children from toddlerhood going into middle childhood. After reviewing the app, I really like the use of sound effects like the ballon popping interactions every-time a child completes an activity. This definitely helps children maintain their focus onto the next task because of the sound effects that come with playing the games. Also, the voiceover that states a series of questions to the user is a great interactive element to spark their thinking patterns during completion of an activity. However, I’ve also noticed that before paying the parental membership fee, to unlock other features of the app, children only have two fine motor games to manipulate with and they fall under the same category of “matching”. Although matching is a great way to help children practice picture and word recognition in addition to many more helpful benefits.. their should be a variety of more different types of activities for the children to practice before their parents can decide whether or not this app is best for them to continue using. Another tip is how to help a child feel more involved into the app. What children love the most is being able to create their own characters to replicate them. This is a great way to allow children to feel apart of the game. Also, their should be a feature where parents can type their child’s name so that when their child is playing the activities the voice over effect that is already implemented in the app can now direct their questions to the user. For example, “Elle can you sort the missing pieces and put them where they belong”. Simple adjustments like this will help a child feel more alert and they will feel more connected into what they are playing, because the app is being more direct with the user. I hope this feedback was as helpful as it could have been!. During my time in college, I have learned a lot about creating educational learning apps for children, the effects it can have, and how to make simple adjustments like this to increase not only brain activity, but enjoyment. P.S children love story time. By having their very own characters as a feature in this app, their story times can be much more meaningful and personalized. A great adjustment to this is app, is embedding virtual video stories. This is another technique I’ve learn and tested and is such a great way to enhance children’s interactions. Overall, the app can use simple fixes like these to enhance the quality and the enrich learning that is taking place. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Priya Shewbarran

I think it’s ridiculous that you have to pay to unlock further levels. I’m a big fan of the ace family and they rave about education and helping out your children during lockdown as they have three young children themselves however, they then make you pay to education your children using their own app. I love the idea of it however think it’s barbaric that they are asking you to pay.
