I really love the game I just need two things to be changed one is we don’t just move back and forth across the ring but also side always and also around the ring to and then the second one is can y’all please make multiplayer a thing so we can play against fellow players
Could be good but isn’t
This game has a really good baseline but doesn’t work on several levels, mostly centering around the week to week cash management. You start your career splitting $200 each fight, and earn somewhere around $100 per fight depending on whether you win or lose. This is simply not enough based on the other mechanics. For example, each time you want to rank up an aspect of the gym, it takes like $50. That would be okay if you could save for them over a couple of fights, but you can’t because of the way the weekly training system works. Each week leading up to a fight you can train one aspect of your boxer. The problem is that each of these trainings costs between $20-$30. There are two free training options, one is resting and one is running. The issue is that you can’t rest two weeks in a row or you’ll lose existing stats. So you’re discouraged from doing that. If you just decide to run, you always lose weight, which is bad because you can come into a fight seriously underweight. So this means you basically need to alternate between training with cash and training a free training. So with an average of $100 per fight you basically can either: train one part of your gym and have $50 left, meaning you only have 5 weeks max between fights (free-$25-free-$25-free), OR you don’t level up your gym and never progress your gym. Either of these outcomes lead to situations where you’re constantly fighting boxers with better stats than you. If you get beat up, you then have 5 weeks to recover all your health, which is impossible and puts you in a position where you’re coming into the fight with less than full health, leading to more losses. This could all be fine, but then the boxing itself is extremely frustrating. There are tons of times where my boxer isn’t reactive to inputs despite me having full stamina. So if I’m fighting a boxer with better strength than me, there’s basically a 0% chance I’m winning that fight. I have to hit them like 2x as much as they hit me, and even if I do that perfectly, there’s not enough time to score a knockdown before a round is over. All of this means you’d need to pay for more cash if you really want to play the game effectively. I’d rather pay once and have a fair game than need to constantly shell out cash for in game money, so this is a delete for me.
Why do I need Premium For any mode other than being a fighter
I have to pay premium mode while using any mode other than being a fighter to play for longer than an in game year. This is such BS, I’m stuck to only one mode. Yall suck
Love the game just 1 critique
I love the game but I think for career mode when you allow fighters to move weight classes yall should make the fighter vacate their belt before moving weight classes because there’s a lot of times where a champion leaves the division and there’s no title to fight for
Horrible Gameplay
Customization is good but when you get in the actual game you only deal a fraction of damage to the opponent even though you can be beating him down for rounds straight, power punches don’t mean anything, it does for the opponent somehow, your health drops quickly round by round, not for the opponent, momentum doesn’t mean anything because in one game my opponent barely got a hit on me and I was getting combos and such but for some reason damage sucks in this game, I would understand if I had low strength but I maxed it out and maxed out other stats, still is horrible.

This game is both challenging, and entertaining. It’s also free. I love retro type games, and this is just like Retro Bowl, but boxing.
2nd review
I was having a blast on the game but then I come to the one year mark but then it makes me pay? How are you going to make a game and then after they play one year in the game just made them pay all of a sudden? Seems greedy from the developers man can’t even play the game no more cus I have to pay to continue. That’s sad. Will be deleting this game.

It’s fun sure, but half the time a punch flies or I don’t block, even though the button is being hit. Also the strength comparisons make little sense

But for a game like this to not have an online multiplayer function, is a crime beyond proportions. 3 stars only. Otherwise, 5 stars if a multiplayer function is added.

Most Addicting Mobile Game I’ve Ever Laid Hands On
Genuinely the best mobile game I’ve ever played, I’ve played the promoter mode now for a little under 2 years and have 5 different fully customized leagues with full belt, rings, fighters and kits etc spanning over 40 in game years and can say with full confidence this game has better boxing game league manager mechanics than almost every other boxing game mobile or console, I have note files in my phone from awards and a hall of fame from over the years, this game is easily immersive and if you take time to add little things like an extended half of fame list or award list you find yourself even that much more lost, if an awards feature was added to the game itself or a couple little tweaks the game would be absolutely without a doubt flawless, I love this game wish it was still worked on or was making a third or at least released on steam but if your a boxing fan/managing sim fan you’ll be a prizefighters 2 fan

When you start your career, then on your first day of being a boxer you match up with somebody to fight then, after the fight you go against nobody after that download this at your own risk and it’s very annoying. Fix your bugs.

Addicted
Personally I’ve been an addicted to the game been playing for like 3-4 years never deleted from my phone. It’s a perfect arcade type game I even bought the add on to get more out of it. I do wish there was more customization (but mostly because I’ve played so much) I would like to see an update to the game
Best career boxing game ever
This is genuinely one of the best career mode fighting games ever on the AppStore this game has so much potential but I do have one suggestion for the developers add press conferences and custom mouth guards I hope the devs see this but this is a fire game

Mixed as of now
It’s a very good game in most ways, so I ended up spending some money in order to get to the greatest of all time status. But after I retired, I ended up deciding to unretire to play some more. Once I did, it put me back as a contender.. it ruined all my hard work. This bothers me a LOT considering I spent around 20 dollars. If I could get my money back that would be great.

DESERVES MAJOR update
Maybe add gym rankings for the gym career mode and maybe add special random events. For example, if your fighter rises to popularity quickly, they become arrogant, disrespecting opponents before the match or maybe they help charity so they gain popularity, Or even commit a crime and go to jail. Also maybe add pre and post fight interviews or weigh in banter. Just some stuff to think of. Also maybe you could add an actual recruiting system, like when signing a fighter, local talent is cheaper and you can scout the local talent/youth (they could have randomized potential with low talent). Also tou could add antics, to make your fighter more of a face or heel.

This game is good but the one problem is that the stamina runs out to quickly therefore you can’t punch opponent normally and getting a KO is incredibly hard because you can punch because your stamina runs out to quickly
Sad I don’t like this
I loved PrizeFighters from the get go. How retro it was, you can customise your entire fighter their name etc. but the main part of the game the whole purpose is just rubbish For starters it seems like it’s genuinely unfair. My stamina bar is sooo small it’s only big enough for one left hook. But the opponents is massive and their health bars barely go down when hit with a barrage of attacks! But when they hit me a few times maybe 3 times IM HALFWAY DOWN! I thought it might’ve just been me so I trained a lot on the game but no. The attacks are soooo sluggish it takes about 25 seconds for a decent right left uppercut combo! The Controls aren’t meant for mobile OR controller as I struggled SO MUCH WITH A CONTROLLER. And it also seems like I can only do 3 form of punches also left hook, jab, uppercut. No right hooks no right jabs nothing. And I hate that I don’t like this game as it looks like it has so much promise but it’s just annoying and completely unplayable atleast for a mobile game.

The game is very fun i love the leauge customization and its preety free but my problem is the characters records are very unrealistic in what world does a 11-25-2 fighter get a title shot speaking of that theres no room to fight new people its the same top 5 for years and it makes the game super boring and unrealistic especially when i have every record (my record is 20-0 but for some reason in pfp) which is stupid other then story builidng the game is preety fun besides needing to pay for majority of features

Broken and unbalanced
Just spent 5 rounds beating the tar out of the champion in the biggest fight I’d had - knocked him down 6 times, getting 10-7 round scores. He was cut pretty bad too. Then I get knocked down once, I’m perfectly ok, yet I get counted out. I wanted to throw my phone out the window. Same with simulating and coaching fights. You can have a fighter who is vastly superior to the other guy but you’ll lose 70% of the time. The ai is obviously playing by different rules than the player and I absolutely can’t stand that. It’s like there’s no point in anything you do.

Really been enjoying this game, basically bought the premium instantly. Love the league customisation options. For it to be a 5 star I would love even more fighter customisation (skills and aesthetic) and maybe make it a bit easier to KO opponents.

Theres too many stats and it can get confusing to set up matches, i liked the simple 1st game that was fun.

One of the best parts about original prizefighters was how it felt fast paced and fun The second one is just mediocre, it actually hurts me that I don’t like this, the game combat feels way to slow and sluggish, the controls aren’t meant for mobile either The career mode progress is way too stat oriented, stats just decide a match And what happened to KO finishes? They’re so rare now as stamina is so little and health is so high So TL;DR Too experimental, didn’t work
