Dommage que l’application refuse les justificatifs d’identité officiels générés par France Identité. Ce document, authentifié par l’État et spécifiquement généré pour THE SORORITY, permet de prouver son identité sans transmettre une copie de sa CNI. Pourquoi imposer une CNI avec photo plutôt que d’accepter cette alternative plus respectueuse des données personnelles ?

Notifications
Cette application est censée sauver des vies, mais elle envoie beaucoup trop de notifications inutiles. À force, on les ignore instinctivement, en pensant qu’il s’agit d’un simple entraînement… jusqu’au jour où ce sera peut-être une vraie alerte. Quand on est une femme en danger, chaque seconde compte. Ce genre de notifications peut avoir de graves conséquences.

J’ai installé l’appli via un commentaire fb, mais je me pose une question, si nous déclarons être en danger, comment être sûr que la personne qui propose son aide est une personne bien intentionnée ? Ça pourrait être un Pdophile qui se sert justement de cette application pour avoir des « proies » faciles…? C’est malheureux d’avoir peur de tout, même d’une application justement faite pour nous aider :(

Application utile
Je trouve l’application super utile. Je l’ai installé dès que j’en ai entendu parler mais je n’ai pas pu finaliser car j’étais « homme ». Le règlement a changé heureusement. L’union fait la force. Il faut 3 marrainages. J’en ai un. Me manque encore 2. Ce n’est pas évident de trouver des marrainages. Aussi ce serait bien si l’application pouvait être reliée aux patrouilleurs, RATP, SNCF, commissariats ou gendarmerie. Également les magasins. Je ne suis pas encore inscrit mais en tout cas c’est une très bonne initiative.
On ne peut même pas créer de compte
J’ai essayer de créer un compte avec mon frère pour pouvoir venir en aide à des personnes, demande 3 parrainages, mon frère a mis ceux de mes cousines, et moi pareil mais impossible vue qu’il l’es a déjà utilisé. Donc au final on veux aider les gens mais on ne peut pas. Quelle est l’intérêt ?! 🤔 à revoir..

Bonjour Belle initiative que cette application, je souhaitais faire partie des membres aidant mais en tant qu’homme il me faut 3 marraines 🤔. Moi qui ne connaît pas d’adhérents je ne vois pas comment je peux faire et c’est dommage car j’aurais pouvoir apporter mon soutien en cas de besoin…

Sexisme Déguisé, Accès Refusé
Cette application est exclusivement réservée aux femmes et aux minorités. Les hommes, eux, n’y ont pas leur place — assimilés d’emblée à des agresseurs. La plateforme justifie cette exclusion par la volonté de protéger les femmes de leurs ex-conjoints présents sur l’application. Pourtant, la situation inverse existe aussi : des hommes sont harcelés, traqués ou agressés par leurs ex-compagnes. Les faits contredisent cette caricature : en 2023, 69 % des victimes de violences physiques hors cadre familial étaient des hommes. Les hommes subissent également des agressions continues, des violences intraconjugales et diverses formes d’abus. Une plateforme qui exclut un genre entier sans considération pour la réalité des faits ne fait pas preuve de justice : elle pratique un sexisme pur et assumé.
Bonne idée mais …
Beaucoup trop woke, entre l’écriture inclusive illisible, le fait d’être un homme « cis » pour pouvoir aider quelqu’un si je devais être à côté, etc. La société devient trop inclusive et ce faisant, elle exclut les gens « normaux » qui n’ont pas de soucis à lire une écriture avec la forme masculine (ou féminine), et elle exclut les gens qui sont simplement homme ou femmes, n’appartenant pas à une minorité.

The majority of notifications I get are random blog posts from the admins in French. I don’t speak French. Also, the one time I did get an alert, it was from a woman in a city 1,5 hours away from me? How am I supposed to help her? It’s weird, maybe that should be optimized a bit better so that only people who are closer to the vicinity get an emergency alert but the rest can get a more non-urgent alert if she wants anyone to check in with her. I’ll keep the app because I’m all for the cause and want to see the app progress, but I hate the fact the owners only use French. Please use English, it’s a pretty universal language. I doubt the majority your users are French, since people from all over Europe - and I’m guessing elsewhere around the globe - can use this app.

The Sorority is een sterk initiatief dat vrouwen de kans geeft om zich veilig te voelen. Alleen: ik mis een functie voor mannen zoals ik, die niet gewoon willen toekijken, maar er willen staan op het moment dat het nodig is. Ik wil geen melding maken voor mezelf, maar ik wil juist een melding krijgen wanneer een vrouw in mijn buurt zich onveilig voelt. In zulke situaties ben ik bereid om onmiddellijk tussen te komen, recht voor de vrouw te gaan staan en de kerel die haar lastigvalt duidelijk te maken dat hij onmiddellijk moet stoppen. Er zijn genoeg mannen die niet aan de zijlijn willen staan, maar die hun aanwezigheid, hun kracht en hun lef willen inzetten zodat vrouwen veilig thuiskomen. Maak een rol voor ons, zodat we écht het verschil kunnen maken.

Great app. Easy to navigate. The Sorority creates a community of women ready to help one another. I just participated in a test and immediately got 5 messages and a phone call. Very reassuring. This is necessary in a world where being a woman is a still very dangerous.
