I’m learning French for my studies and I have an old iPhone. I can’t download a lot of apps and I was so pleased when I found this one. It’s everything I needed. The lessons don’t feel pressurizing and it’s really easy. I love how everything is planned out. BUT(of course there’s a but) the sudden need to pay for premium at lesson 9 wasn’t necessary. You could have done this in such a way people can watch ads to get certain features for free (even if it’s 15 ads) but instead you started blocking the answers, the questions. Ridiculous forced actions to make people pay. I get it that you’re trying to get paid for how amazing this app is (because even though I couldn’t stand how you started blocking things so that we can pay for premium) but please consider that IT IS NOT EVERYONE THAT USES YOUR APP FROM THE US. I stay in Africa and 11 dollars a month is a lot of freaking money. Please do better, it was so painful to let this app go
It’s mediocre
It’s a woke app but less than Duolingo. It is developed by a woke Spanish company. Instead of really teaching you things , they designed the AI to subtly teach you the French maghrébins are ok
Separate fee for each language
I have been using the Spanish course and have been enjoying it, so paid a Premium subscription. I wish I’d realized the Premium plan was language specific. I likely would have gone with another option. I wanted to switch to French, but have to pay again. By the time I pay for two languages, I could pay for Pimsleur with access to dozens of languages.
I like it
I really enjoyed this course. Im learning trying to talk in French.
New Update Is Breaking The Apps
I left a review under the Russian version because I’m using both. At first I didn’t understand what the problem was, but I updated the French version and now that won’t work either. So somethings wrong with this update, fix it.
Good app for serious language learners
Little distractions and calming narration makes this app a 5/5 for me. Thanks!

Genial
Excelente app. He probado muchas y es de las pocas en las que puedes repasar la gramática como tal. Si incluyeran algún tiempo verbal más como el subjuntivo sería perfecta!
Cumbersome
I really wanted to like this app. It does have some great features. Unfortunately the customer service is slow to respond and doesn’t really address the issues. The app doesn’t allow flexibility. You must complete one lesson in order to move forward. For someone who is already familiar with the material it is a major waste of time. I hope the company will address this issue and offer a solution. Also the interface is much outdated, not clean and streamlined.
Lo mejor
La mejor aplicación para aprender francés muy completa
Not running
12/28/2023 App insta-crashes since the update, and this new one doesn’t fix the issue for whatever reason. Please, I’m patient 🙏🏻 03/16/2024 Still closing despite the update three weeks ago. 04/08/2024 issue unsolved. Being super patient
Amei
Estou a conseguir evoluir muito bem graças a esta aplicação, a unica coisa que melhorava era mesmo ao escrever uma palavra , escrevela completa e não só completa-la com algumas letras.
Awesome App!
I’ve just finished the beginners courses. I’ve tried a lot of language learning apps and Wlingua in my opinion, has the best pace and structure out of all of them. The interface is thoughtfully made as well. The only improvement I’d suggest is adding audio for the sentence exercises as well as the verb conjugation lists to help users more with parroting and pronunciation.

Nice app!
Thank you for the nice app Wlingua
Very great!
I love this app. It’s very simple and corrects you when you make a mistake, I highly recommend. They let you put your level and show you everything you need to know, especially important ones. Unlike duolingo, this app shows you how to actually learn the language and everything you need to know.
Really good but expensive
This app has literally everything for learning French. The best I’ve downloaded and I’ve downloaded lots. But the free plan is too limited and the premium is expensive.
Great alternative to Duolingo
I stopped using Duolingo after they switched to fully AI. I think this app breaks down concepts a lot better and the pacing is also faster so I’m learning a lot more. The lay out is a bit confusing at first, but after getting used to it I love it!

One Of The Best
I don’t usually write reviews but this app really deserves great reviews from anyone using this! Simple interface and different courses focused on either just verb conjunctions or vocabularies is a plus. Going to buy subscriptions just to support the devs 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great app
This is an Amazing choice for language learning effectively and fast. Comparable to Duolingo and Memrise, and helps with fluency a lot. Minimal bugs or grammar issues, engaging and fun, easy access to simple lessons, and great learning courses! Overall amazing app
Five stars
Honestly a best app
