Outstanding rent to own app.
Thank you Grover!!! I couldn’t afford a set of AirPod Pros 2nd gen’s. I’m hard of hearing so these AirPods work far better as a hearing amplifier in crowded spaces. I’m on my 2nd set from them. Hope Grover is able to be available again for American customers soon. Would really like to purchase another set of AirPods from you soon. Thank you soo much Grover.
It literally doesn’t work
I just opened the app, made an account, and I can’t browse a single item. If I try to search something it just says “All rented out” implying that every single item on the entire site is rented out, it does this for every single category and for every single item.

Leider funktioniert die App gerade nicht so gut wie man es will aber sonst muss ich sagen finde ich denn Support super und an sich sehr gut aufgebaut. Hoffe das bald ein update kommt und die Fehler behebt Liebe Grüße
Die App
ist eine Katastrophe. Egal auf welchem System. Immer wieder graue Flächen, die auf angetippten Flächen erscheinen, dann werden Seiten nicht gefunden, usw. Und was Grover teilweise als im Zustand „gut“ versendet, spottet jeder Beschreibung. Die Watch war völlig zerkratzt und ging umgehend wieder zurück.

Do not trust this predatory rental service. After renting faulty tech that stopped working within months I contacted them and they want $700 to close the rental to stop charging me $50 a month indefinitely. I had already paid more than the full value of the rental in this time. Absolutely disgusting customer service by telling me whether I return a functional rental or not I have to pay hundreds of dollars without that ever being disclosed that to begin with. STAY AWAY.
Probleme beim Laden
Ansich eine super praktische und gute App wenn man sich Geräte zulegen will sie aber später nicht im Schrank verstauben sollen. Das einzige Problem was ich seit der neuen Version habe ist dass ich jedes Mal die App wieder neu installieren muss damit ich sie erfolgreich öffnen kann.
Kundenservice mangelhaft!
Ich habe über Grover ein IPhone 15 Plus und eine Apple Watch gemietet. Letztere wurde mit einem schon beschädigten Ladekabel geliefert. Als es schließlich zum Kabelbruch kam, konnte oder wollte man mir nicht weiterhelfen. Ich habe mir selber ein Neues gekauft. Gleiches als das Armband riss! Sehr ärgerlicher Kontakt mit dem Kundenservice. Mein Rat: Meidet Grover, kauft refurbishte Geräte.

Alles klappt super, außer der Rücksendung. Man wartet und wartet, während monatelang weiter abgebucht wird. Erst nach der 3. Anfrage beim Support bewegt sich etwas und man bekommt sein Geld zurück. Das ist einfach unnötig und nervig – deshalb nur 2 Sterne.

Client since 3 years, day by day Grover option is less interesting as they have reduced a lot the stock, before they offered HIFI brands as bowers, Denon, Marantz, Marshall, Rotel… since a year ago, nothing on this category, you can find mainly apple products and photography articles.
Great Experience
I rented a Nintendo Switch as I wasn’t sure if I wanted to purchase or not. It was a very easy experience. When I did the return, I accidentally forgot to include one item that goes with it. The customer service didn’t give me a hard time about and helped me get it returned to them. I would definitely try Grover again.
Just silly.
They make you go through the hassle of shopping and setting up the lease and actually placing the order, only to cancel the order due to ‘credit issues’. Why on earth does the process work that way? Just tell people they can’t shop when they sign up vs this silly, defeating process.
Grover Top - App schlecht
Hatte schon mehrere Geräte von Grover, immer top Produkte und Service. Leider ist die App sehr schlecht. Suchfunktion funktioniert schlecht, sehr lange Ladezeiten und die Seite „gemietet“ ist meistens nicht erreichbar. Schade!
Irreführendes Kaufversprechen
Ich miete seit 17 Monate AirPods Pro. Geworben wird damit, dass man die Geräte nach 14 Monate für 1 € kaufen kann - tatsächlich verlangt Grover aber noch über 150€. Das ist irreführend und alles andere oder fair. Der Kundenservice hilft nicht weiter. Statt nachhaltigem Leasing zu Kauf bleibt mir jetzt nur Kündigung der Miete.
Ladezeiten etc.
An sich eine coole, wenn sie funktioniert. Leider habe ich immer wieder Ladezeiten mit open end, app hängt sich ab und zu auf, meldet mich ab etc. Da funktioniert die website deutlich besser.

Buenos días como se puede ponerse en contacto con Grover ?porque el robot que tiene messenger no soluciona nada da igual que escriba a las 10:00 , 12:00 ,14:00 siempre me dice que estoy fuera de horario y tampoco encuentro un número de teléfono ya pondrían poner atención al cliente más fácil y rápido. La atención al cliente es pésima nunca he visto nada igual

Can’t even cancel my order that I accidentally placed. Was charged and there is not option to cancel the subscription before it ships. Annoying.
App is amazing with a weird bug/issue
I absolutely love your app! I managed to purchase the new iPhone 14, which was a much-needed upgrade from my extremely slow old phone. However, I encountered a peculiar issue a few times. I'm not sure if I accidentally pressed the wrong button, but it appears that the Grover app occasionally changes the language on its own. This can be quite frustrating, as I have to uninstall and reinstall the app to revert the language back to English, since I don't know how to change it back otherwise
Problemas de Idioma y Chatbot
Una aplicación normal no tiene nada de especial pero cumple su cometido: Alquilar dispositivos, gestionar soporte y manejar alquileres. Ahora hay 2 problemas de peso para que le ponga esta valoración: Continuamente la aplicación se pone en Alemán sin tocar nada y luego vuelve al español (a veces no vuelve). El chatbot es horrible, le acabo de pedirlo hablar con una persona y me ha dicho que solo es un bot y que no encuentra respuesta.

No More Rent to Own
I loved grover before their most recent update. Now you can't rent to own. The prices weren't that bad for rent to own but now it's just to rent but the prices stayed the same. Definitely not worth renting something for a year for basically the same price it would be to just save up and buy. Definitely not gonna use anymore after all my orders are paid off. Would give 5 stars if they hadn't ended the rent to own.

Amazing Customer Service
I had a medical emergency that caused my usual budgeting plan to go off track and made me miss a payment and I had to temporarily change my method of pay, a couple more scenarios happened where my payment method couldn’t go through, but Essence their customer service was with me every step of the way. Working with me to get caught up. I honestly couldn’t ask for better customer service.
Worst app ever
This app is so glitchy. It takes forever to load anything and sometimes even change the language and currency on its own lol. Super bad app and needs lots of fixes. When I add stuff to my cart and try to proceed, it takes the item out and says I have nothing in the cart. All I want to do is buy stuff, but it simply can’t handle that lol

Very good experience up until now, would have been perfect if we could reserve something ahead for example. But lets see maybe its for the near future. Also have to mention the team is also very responsive when ever you have a question or concern. Really appreciate that

Up until a few days ago I loved Grover but not I can seem to get a answer as to why when I sent a tablet back within the 14 days I’m now being charged and why my messenger In another language hopeful this reach a tech people that can fix it

When you download a invoice to see on your apple phone there is no way to go back or anywhere other then to just close and restart the app! Other then that the app runs okay!

First off, Grover is a scam because why am I still paying on a $400 product almost 2 years later and you say I STILL have to pay another $300 to own it?! Yeah no And secondly, the app randomly changes the language from English to like German or something. Super frustrating!!! To all the people with not so great credit: although Grover seems like a good idea DONT DO IT. It’ll be way smarter to just save for what ever it is you wish to purchase OR download the Four app and split the payments (based of bank history NOT credit score)
Funktioniert mit kleinen Abstrichen
Bei der Suche von Geräten ist es ein wenig unübersichtlich, da man zb beim MacBook Air nicht sieht wieviel RAM der hat und wie groß die SSD ist. Man sieht es erst nach dem Auswählen. Manchmal ist es nicht ersichtlich wie man zu Startseite kommt. Ansonsten ist die App sehr gut!
Patiently Waiting
The app itself is solid. It’s pretty straight forward, easy to use and very clear on how the process works. I’m interested in renting to own (if I end up liking the item) however, I haven’t had a chance to rent the computer I want yet. It seems it’s all rented out. I chatted with one of the online reps and was told that the inventory was replenished monthly. It’s been two months now since the computer has been rented out (in all models) so I have no option but to keep checking back.
