Big Clock - Pro Time Widgets reviews
4.2 out of 5, based on 3,607 reviews.
What people like
- Very easy to read from a distance
- Clean design looks great on home screen
- Simple and works exactly as expected
What they complain about
- Review popups block the clock constantly
- Widget fails to update during daylight savings
- Cannot easily turn off ticking seconds sound
- Paid features sometimes do not unlock properly
Very nice
Good for mornings and old, tired eyes without glasses lol
Terrible
They charged me twice for an app that looks ugly. Other free clock apps are way more useful
Review request excessive
Does what it says; it’s a clear, big clock. But the review requests are annoying, and as you can probably see, counterproductive.
Needs updating
I love having Big Clock as a widget, however, today was the end of daylight savings time and the widget didn’t update. Please fix this so I can give a better rating.

Disappointment!
Widget doesn’t change time to DST. Clock on app does, but widgets do not update.
Like it
Perfect for when I am getting ready in the morning. Only complaint is the constant pop up to leave a review….so here it is

Too big
The clock is way to big. I wanted a widget, not a full screen. I looked at the way to revise the widget but it does not work. I just needed something to show on a screen that is as big as a widget.
Great App
Works well
No longer keeps time.
No longer keeps time. Loved it before it stopped working.
Time change
The Home Screen widget didn’t change with the time change. When you open the widget the clock did change. Other then that love this app.
Really annoyed with review pop up
^ while looking at the time. other than that, served my purpose as a simplistic black white clock

Great clock for nightstand or widget!
This is pretty great, thank you! Looks stylish and I love the widget and complements IOS 26 nicely. Would like to have it where tapping on widget brings up its settings and not going between 24 and 12 hour mode. Would also love to see more glass and transparency effects for the widget (Pro version) but this definitely has style and flair. Thanks much for a great app and widget!
So, what’s a Widget worth?
I’m new to ”widgets “. Thought I was getting a clock. Who designs a clock without alarm capability? And fool me I purchased the Pro version ‘cause I thought I was getting a nicely customizable CLOCK. Now I know about widgets; widgets are worthless and I’m out $7 !!! Not happy!
Great so far
I love having the clock widget. I wish it were easier to turn off the seconds counter. Still haven’t figured it out. Not the worse issue, but I’d like to resolve it.

IMHO the best clock app anywhere
IMHO the best clock app anywhere. The fact that it’s free is amazing. I’m a huge fan and used it at work constantly.

Easy to see!
I have to use a timer in my sound therapy practice and this app works great. It’s easy to see from across the room.
This app DEMANDS a review...
...every five minutes you’ll have to disable a request to review the app, even if you disable it in the iOS settings. There are CONSTANT pop ups demanding a review on a paid app. I’ve never seen anything like it. Don’t waste your time.

keeps time BUT
once you enter the drop down menu, theres no way to exit and return to the main screen(i have to restart the phone). also once you change the color, it wont go back to black.
Great
Does the job, looks good
Constantly nagging me to review app
1.Every time I open the app, it repeatedly ask me for a review, to the point of being annoying, creating a bad user experience. 2.Since upgrading to iPad OS 17, home screen widget randomly flickers. 3.I wish the clock numbers could be made bigger allowing the time to be viewed from greater distances when app is in full screen mode. 4.Did I mention the app constantly nagging me to write a review was painfully annoying?
If you are doing a time lapse w/this you may get a message that blocks the clock to review the app.
Leaving a review in hopes this doesn’t happen again.
24 Hour Setting
Nice app, but it insists on displaying 24 hour time in the small widget. Expected more from something that costs a little more than others. Plus, it now only shows the date. Kind of weird. Is it now big calendar and nothing else?
Keeps demanding a review
I can’t see the time because a text window asking me to review the app keeps blocking the display.
Big Clock
It’s Great but the only thing I’ve noticed is it doesn’t always keep up with my phone time. I have to open the app to have the time adjusted.
Confusing
I don’t understand how a developer can make a simple clock widget confusing, but this guy managed to do it. I upgraded the widget to “Pro” in order to rid the clock of that annoying moving seconds display, but the result was no different from before. Also, the default for the ticking sound should be OFF, not ON. Yikes.
Not as advertised
The transparency did not work on my 14 pro max. I can’t find a way to remove the seconds, which are annoying. The link to the feedback doesn’t work.
Does what it says on the tin
Simple, big and beautiful
I’m looking at the time
HOW CAN I BE HAVING A GOOD TIME????????
Simple but useful
I don’t need a fancy complicate clock at my ipad. This clock app just fit on me. Thanks.
Works well
I like the clean design
Forced to review
Ok it’s a big clock and that is great. Seconds are a little annoying. But review keeps popping up and masking clock,so unless you want to review it don’t buy it
Love it
Dimmer is nice
Paid for pro and it didn’t unlock
Paid for pro and it didn’t unlock but they took the money
Great
Perfect for the middle of the night with no glasses on Thank you
So so app
Wont stay lit up all night. It goes to sleep when the phone does. Not happy had to pay for it only to find out after
wish i can see the time
but it constantly asked me to review so here
Best app
This is one of the best apps I have used in very long time. It does everything I wanted it to and more. I would recommend it to everyone
Limited views
I should be able to change the view on my iPhone between landscape and portrait
Does good
:)
Request for review was pre-mature
The pre-mature and continual request to review this app renders this app’s first impression a ‘Nag’. Do yourself a favour and be patient. You probably could have received a much higher rating if you hadn’t continually nagged me.
Tryig to decide
Have not had time to figure out if I like the app but constant review request pop ups not helping…
