I keep coming back to this game
It’s been a few years since I originally downloaded this game. I keep coming back to it because it has excellent replay-ability and I love it. It’s inexpensive to support the developers, and I’ll sometimes front-stack a save file using ads and purchases (they’re not necessary but can make it more fun to focus on killing stuff or learning the triggers for various events) to make it easier to run through to get different achievements. (Determining which choice in dialogue and which actions cause different events to occur and when is a lot of fun for me!) I have played LDoE for a few years and agree with another reviewer. This is a similar concept but also wildly different and much easier on the pocket book. There are multiple difficulty levels to the three modes: main story, challenge and dlc. I’ve not really gotten into the challenge mode yet, but I’ve finally started working on the DLC. The confusion in the main story line adds to the overall game concept. The goal isn’t just survival-it’s figuring out who is who and what is actually going on in Jonestown. I still haven’t figured out if I think the devs actually have a backstory that’s definitive or if they left it open ended on purpose, or if I just need to find those last few documents. Following the diary entries and newspapers amongst other things gives a really good depth to this game. Be prepared to do a lot of play throughs if you want to really understand that it’s well thought out and executed, despite a slight clunkiness to the opening/loot mechanics. I find that clunkiness charming and it adds a level of difficulty in a panicky situation! There are multiple ways to access things-either tap the circle directly or tap the control to the side.) The game is a choose-your-own-adventure book style game and I love it. I had forgotten I paid to unlock it and I’ve been telling people about it for years. I’ve played a lot of zombie games over the years, but this is the only one I recommend to others. Pro-tip: saves occur when you re enter your base, so sometimes it’s good to pop out and re-enter without going anywhere just to save your progress. Have a stash nearby home to keep the essentials (lock pick, perfume, weapons, medications or snacks) to avoid a save. Prep to go kill that boss-then pop back in to base and leave for the map again in case you blow it ;) Last thing I feel I want to mention is this is one of the only games I play with the music on. Love the music-it’s well done and works to help with the mood, even though I have sensory overload with sound issues.

AMAZING
This game is amazing it s got a great story behind it, and how you have to make everything makes it so much more interesting and enjoyable. The damage done by each different weapon and damage done by the infected creature is amazing. Deff a great game and definitely worthy of 5 stars keep it up. Also love the the fact that you can watch ads and not have to pay to play it’s awesome that we get that option

Reminds me of the game This War of Mine for consoles and pc. Man, there’s so much I could say about this game but I’ll keep it short. Fantastic, time consuming, best zombie apocalypse mobile game out there with absolutely no paywall for progression. This is how all games should be made. I will be spending the $4.99 for the full game. I would if it was 20!

Love all the new quest and places to search. It keeps me interested. However, I can’t figure out how to load my gun. I’ve googled it and still no help. Someone pls let me know how to put the bullets in my guns.

Awesome..... and annoying at the same time.
Edit: disregard my comments below. This game is f!&king awesome. It’s frustrating at the beginning but once you get the hang of it you’ll be asking yourself why you didn’t get it sooner. The full game is only five bucks and to buy a few extra it’s 1.99. Well worth it!!! Smooth gameplay, fun little missions that aren’t impossible, and a nice little story where you are given multiple choices which brings some nice variety. GET IT The saving method is garbage. The fact that you have to keep relearning after you die is annoying. Most games like this if you die you lose any gear youve picked up along the way. In this sob you have to click for 10 minutes to go through the manuals that you’ve already clicked through just so you can build something you’ve built ten times. I feel like playing a game , not doing my chores when I was in kindergarten. Other than that it’s a really good game

Икра клевая, купил полную версию, но это ужас друзья, некоторая реклама всплывает, она не частая, не напрягает, но после неё, точнее ты не можешь после просмотра ее закрыть, в итоге приходится закрывать игру(рекламу) и проходить 10-20 минут сначала, и это постоянно, ладно я смирился с рекламой, но каждый раз каждые пол часа проходить все заново без сохранений, что за идиотизм?

That’s fair to have ads for revenue as long as there is no pay to win mechanic aka a cash shop paying money to get rid of ads is also ok as long as you can’t buy resources weapons armor heals etc. tldr either have ads/pay to get rid of ads or cash shop for items not both way to many games on the App Store that do that and honestly no bueno no need to be selfish.
Great game but....
Its great game theres some things that bothers me alot while playing it, like when my backpack is full why do i have to go home and empty it while i have the car? It doesnt make sense why not fill the backpack empty it in the car and when the car is full drive it home and unload??? Another thing im sure 95% of players skips the dialog, so we pretty much miss out on what to do, so theres no menu to go to see if theres any mission i should do rather than collecting resources. Other than that its a cool survivor game Update: finished the game, what a STUPID ENDING!!! Thats why i dropped my stars 4 to 2!!! Waisted my money on it, cant even recover my purchases if i start a new game😡😡😡

There’s no option to discard items, unfortunately, except for storing things in containers at OUTSIDE locations. It makes scavenging and storage management a huge hassle. Also, a multiplayer option would be wonderful.

I just came back after a loooong time and it’s roughly how I remember it. The system of balancing time spent(from 6am dawn to 6pm dark) is certainly a unique approach to doing what an energy system does without the energy. Resources are a mixed bag though because I made sure best I could to go to houses first(got lucky and got both houses first 2 tries and lucky again the researcher hospital 3rd time) but it absolutely takes days IRL of watching all 6 ads for material each and every day to basically finance the research part of it because if you don’t do that/cut it short you’ll be going uphill at an Everest level to get your feet under you between food and materials ESPECIALLY if you waste any time at all in the grocery store where it’s contents mostly go to waste if you spend even a little bit dropping off and coming back; please make raw meats survive longer because between useless and dangerous potatoes and rat meat and such it really doesn’t make the grocery stores worth the hassle and the loot doesn’t survive plus IRL they’d have far more survivable items like ramen and such to pick up. In fact that could be a new early game location the tractor trailer where a full of stuff tractor trailer is there waiting for you it could be a unique area where the zombies come back after you leave and come back so you balance danger/weapon wear/injury with extremely awesome loot like ramen noodles pain meds unique weapons etc more than usual. But yeah without the materials ads you really can’t do anything practically at all/will fail. Really do love the fact you can leave markers on the map though to find stuff sooner or if you can dodge a zombie standing somewhere you won’t alert and don’t want to waste time on that’s great. Edit: just got into chapter 2 and have cleared the station and found the power plant(gonna clear more before doing that) and after some trading I now see why even rotten food has a point. Even though it would probably be a good idea to add more food and/or slow down the rot stages at least they’ll take it. I do feel like all items should be worth more for trading though because even with dozens of splints and bandages and a few liquor bottles and a low durability tier 2 sword, the residence guy only gave i think like 1 fried rabbit despite the amount of stuff I gave him even with his item which I didn’t have at the time it probably would’ve been 2 max so yes the values need to be tweaked in trade and made more powerful. Also, perhaps add more trader items around the maps ie multiple game devices to further affect trade or multiple dresses for the prison girl which might I add is certainly a unique idea that you trade with her mother for what’s implied I definitely was surprised the first time that happened. Also now I’m realizing the implications if you chose the woman survivor and continue there I guess that prison woman really cares about her kid that much? Update again: I hit a wall with the poison gas mall. It’s too insane that enemies respawn if you don’t use fire(which I don’t cause I never have used a Molotov if they weren’t alerted and swarming it would be one thing but it’s just too much I noped out. I’m back a long time later but I do hope that you balanced that out.

An Actual Good Apocalyptic Survival Game (and a small Request!)
I absolutely enjoy the atmosphere and how scarce food can be if found and not used wisely, since finding food and leaving it in a box or locker actually causes them to rot over time if player doesn’t pick it up. Definitely strategic, and encourages players to plan ahead before looting more things to upgrade base and weapons. Also a request for the game. Is it possible for the dev to make it local multiplayer? Like for example having a friend or a family member play, kinda like co-op. I think it would make the experience pretty cool and definitely enjoyable. This game really does have a charm to it, and the combat and looting systems are pretty awesome! Something that other survival games don’t have, and they don’t charm like this game.

I like it, but the loading time takes more than 1minute, it is a waste of time. And also it is laggy when you go outside.

В начале игры все интересно, но потом все становится очень скучно. Чтобы повысить уровень сложности добавили каких-то тараканов, которые появляются в уже зачищенных территориях. Они не дают выйти из локации (плюют кислотой и герой тупой видимо как создатель это игры) не может спустится по лестнице. Или открыть дверь. Этих тараканов много и убивать порой их нечем.

Bad First Impression
I had to watch an ad before I even got to the menu screen. Not a great way to introduce me to your product.
Zombies with a story!
So the game is good. It’s like LDOE but has a storyline to it. Movement is ok but the large map with a small character is a little difficult to see or control sometimes with all the extra garbage around. Also, one of the most difficult things is to feed yourself as it is almost impossible to find food and drink. You can’t kill wandering animals for food either, no way to grow food or anything. I even watched the videos for supply drops and the MOST you get is one bread and one coke. I also have an issue with like repairing the fence. I’ve been attacked and my fence is almost gone (health wise) but there is no way to select it and repair it. Suggestion... combine what people like and enjoy from a game like LDOE to what is currently this and you’ll have a killer game.
