What people like
- Love the rodeo content variety.
- Great for watching on demand.
- Good access to athlete stories.
What they complain about
- App crashes or won't load.
- Constant buffering and freezing issues.
- Can't log in to account.
- Paid but can't watch content.
I tried to resign up but….
I am not able to watch the plus broadcasts I have tried to sign up and subscribe several times. Please fix this
Not there yet
Constant buffering and glitches. The livestream at least for the local rodeo we want to watch has not worked well 3 years in a row now. Great idea but so far they haven’t got it figured out.
Why all the buffering for the Fort Worth StockShow Rodeo …
Terrible service!!! Never seen this before ! Is it a server problem? None of our other streaming apps had this problem on our Sony XR-65 …Seems someone fixed it! THANK YOU! It was out for nearly two weeks…hope the fix holds. We attended one of the Ft Worth StockShow events and wanted to follow up as we returned home to North Carolina. Your station is truly important to us!
Too Many
Camera switches views too many times. Zooming in too far and misses the event. Takes too long to load. Too much buffering. Please Show the entire chute and box on the timed events without the zoom and switch.
Okay APP
The live portion doesn’t always show all live events only what’s currently on the cowboy channel even though I have the plus subscription.
Love the app but
I love the cowboy channel app I watch it all the time the only thing is I wish they had a search bar on the mobile app outside of that I love it
Scam
Paid for a year and can’t watch
Good but could be better
I live on the east coast so can rarely watch rodeos live. Love being able to watch PRCA rodeos on demand from all over the USA and Canada. Have been happy with app for the most part and improvements they have made. They are now quick to upload performances from the night before which I appreciate! Biggest thing in app that needs fixing is a place holder for whatever you’re watching. Whenever you leave a show for more than a fee minutes, the app goes back to the Home screen. You have to remember what performance you were playing & the time you stopped then fast forward to find your place. This is a real pain!
Streaming
Seems every year they change where they stream the live performances and then unable to view usually the final round. It’s me, it’s my tv that’s “not supported,” but has firestick per their streaming requirements, and definitely can’t be them. It’s insane that it happens every single year.
Fix this connection I wanna watch
I like that I am able to watch a rodeo everyday but the amount of lagging/buffering that happens with everything is pretty upsetting and why I have to give the app 3 outta 5
Game changer
I can so see much more good rodeo with this app. I watch way more than I thought. Lots of good stuff if you love the West. Hope they keep adding more.
Useless
Can’t cast to tv using the app so it’s a waste of $120.
Worst Logo Change
Official Network of PRCA should invoke a logo fitting of a Cowboy. This looks like some type of bitcoin emblem. Boring. Programming is fine. Just can’t get behind their logo, without the title, no one should guess.
Disappointed with Teton
I loved the cowboy channel when Patrick ran it almost all of the pro rodeos where streamed and so many more horse events now that Teton owns it there is only a few pro rodeos. As a wife of a professional roper and a fan of rodeo it was nice to be able to watch the rodeos when I wasn’t able to travel with him. I’m so disappointed with what Teton has done with the cowboy channel the last few years it’s almost not worth paying my subscription for it anymore
Replays
Can’t find the replays of rodeos anymore
Non-stop rodeo
Great access to rodeo content with different streams so I can feel like I’m in the arena!
Trash
Paid for a year subscription format so we could ensure we were able to watch family at NHSRA Finals. Every single live feed froze and then a pop up stating unable to play selected content. Useless
Home Screen Scavenger Hunt
When one opens the app on the iPad or iPhone, the shows on the screen are gray rectangles. It’s a mystery as to what they are. So, if one is looking for a particular rodeo, it’s a scavenger hunt to find the right one. On Apple TV, looking for past rodeos is similar. The icons are compressed to about 5% of their normal height. It’s near impossible to find the right one. Apps on iOS and Apple TV need work — a lot of it. Their quality smacks of a high school rodeo, not the NFR.
TV Schedule
So very disappointed that Trey Johnson is no longer on the Sunday morning lineup -
Cowboy Plus
Love all the improvements they are making. The AI is really enhancing the Sport. The original content is so insightful into the lives of the amazing athletes!
Won’t load content
The app take too long to load or times out. I have tried with WiFi and cellular data
Can't watch past rodeos
Let us watch previous rodeos again.
Can’t find what I’m looking for
Can’t search for what I want to watch and can’t find it
Cowboy+
Absolutely love the content and the brand. Great user experience and looks amazing.
Crashed
Never used this app before, as soon as I tried to watch the local Rodeo it crashes
Replay rodeo
Trying to watch round 1 and 2 , but can’t find it Anywhere.
NFR
How do I subscribe through this App to get the NFR ? I only see subscription monthly…No NFR
Disappointed
My review would be higher if I could actually get into my account. Feeling frustrated.
Pitiful.
I’ve had this app a few years now. Every time I open it I’m hoping they used some of the money they make on improving it and am left disappointed. It’s frustrating to try rewinding or fast forwarding. There’s several rodeos I have to go to the website to watch because they’re impossible to find in the app. I find it hard to believe this is the best they can give us especially with what we’re paying to be able to watch including the NFR and we’ve had problems watching that when the time comes too. It’s obviously getting really annoying because I never write reviews. You might as well hire me to design a new app. It might be my first time but I bet I’d do a better job than this! It’s pitiful.
Review
I paid for English. The Houston rodeo is being broadcast in Spanish half of the time over English.
Get on google chrome
Love the service, just want to stream from my phone to my tv with google chromecast! Thanks, Max
Brilliant love this app
Brilliant love this app
Calgary
Why can’t we watch Calgary live or any repeats on the app?
Not too happy.
So we pay for the plus app as a Canadian and we can’t even get the Calgary stampede. As well as if we want to watch the NFR we are expected to pay extra? Honestly it’s not cool
Keeps us in touch
It’s a game changer as far as keeping up with friends and family. We’d love to see more NIRA coverage as every parent would enjoy watching their kids at college rodeos.
Why
Not showing the “live” rodeos as they are going on SUCKS. I have family to watch and I’ve never had so much trouble. I should be watching Calgary live but it’s not on. Thx for nothing
NFR
Paid to watch the NFR….took my money for the NFR package but says I don’t have it…very disappointing….sent an email no reply…..
Lisa finch
Joined and paid $144 to year subscription, won’t let me watch nfr
No signal
Every time I watch the app, it won’t even load it just skips and skips and I’m paying money for nothing come on guys
Please email me
I would like to cancel my account I am not able to log in to my account on my smart tv on my phone Getting real frustrated and I do not see anywhere that I can contact someone to help or even ask to reset my password
