What people like
- Simple and fun to play
- Sword customization feels interesting
- Great for killing time
What they complain about
- Ads play after every single sword
- Hard to tell different ores apart
- Pay money but still see ads
I LOVE THIS GAME I AM NOT A BOT I AM HUMAN, A REAL BOU
Hiii I love this game plz ad more material like emerald or stuff also plz make the ore more distinguishable from each other and ya more blades and hilts n stuff i love this game 10/10 ya
Bs
After each sword you make you’ll be watching an ad, and the final straw for me was when I was locked in an advert game and it wouldn’t let me X out.
I have played this game
The game is a good game but it has no more ores and when you get all of them you can’t really get any more and that’s why it’s getting a 4 star rating because you don’t get a lot of ores than it gives you to the point where it doesn’t seem worth playing the game and I don’t play the game anymore because it doesn’t have any new things to play with other than that it’s a good game
Ads
Game would be so much better if there wasn’t ads every two seconds
Please include Resource baskets
i like this game and i wven disabled the adds for it. but the ore you fet is so dang random you never progress past uncommon and maybe rare....
Good
But maybe you could add custom materials?
DO NOT BUY
It won’t let me switch between styles and all I really do is watch adds PS honestly it’s just dumb
Good game but…
This game is really fun to play but it needs more content and it needs to be easier to tell different ores apart from each other
ADS
It’s a decent game but there are SOOO MANY ADS. It feels almost impossible to play unless you pay for the ad blocker
dead game
contains about 5 hours gameplay. don’t spend any money! spent $5 to cut out the ads and i still have ads! i “beat” the game, maxed everything, made the best swords. ui is horrible but the concept was cool. no updates for content so im uninstalling.
Game
I love the game but I wish it got more updates
DONT BUY AD FREE
The add free literally only gets rid of the banner ads and the ads you get randomly. It DOES NOT get rid of the forced ads to upgrade. The fact any mobile game forces you to watch ads just to progress is absolutely ridiculous, especially if the rest of the game isn’t ad free unless paid for. Either remove the random forced ads for upgrades or at least add that to the ad free package. I just wasted 5 dollars that I can’t get back. If not for that I would’ve reviewed the game higher.
Bland Game
This game is actually good for what it is and to my knowledge the only game like it, I just wish the developers would put a little bit more love into the game for example in the sword handle area it kinda bothers me while I play this game that the handle of the sword is just the same thing as the blade there’s no actual grip. And that’s why the game for me it’s a 4 out of 5 but for what it is it’s good.
Pretty fun but way too much ads
This game is pretty fun but you receive an ad after every single sword and you have to play an unskippable ad after every two upgrades to continue upgrading your forge.
Good game but
It’s a great game but it doesn’t have enough ores and it’s to hard to get good ones like I have play this game for a year and never gotten a rare sword
Great game- but... needs more features
It's honestly a great game, truly, there's not many out there that can match it's simplistic nature, but... as you play more and more... it just feels like something is missing from the game... the styles to choose from vary greatly, not too many, not too little. Mining is kinda annoying, and there is ads, but it's to be expected. The mining is understandable to be a hassle, as that's how rare swords exist. The ads are there because... well... they're really the greatest and probably biggest way of getting income for the game, I will admit, having to watch one to advance here and there... is kinda pathetic... but, I get it. It's a great game, and I do recommend it as a great time killer.
Gives you nothing but wishing the game was better.
Game is unbearable if you don’t pay 9 usd to remove ads because you get an ad after making each sword. The game is not worth the 9$ I payed. I also thought it would remove the reward ads but no I still had to watch ads. You have no control over the metals you use. In the beginning if your lucky you could have a cool colored sword, but as you lvl up to use more ore to increase avg sell cost all swords will look gray or tan. Even if you luck out and get a bunch of uncommon and rare ore it will be different colors so the sword still looks like dirt. Broken English everywhere. You will get tons of money passively over sleeping you will wonder why you played the game and watched a ton of ads over the 2 or 3 hrs you played yesterday. The level you are is just a sword counter for how many you made and does nothing. I made over 180 swords. If I played free with all ads that’s 180 ads + the reward ads. The game will leave you wanting a better game.
Great stress reliever, but…
I downloaded this game because it really like swords and Lord of the Rings, I realized that it just the same thing over and over. Well, I tried upgrading my sword mold but it just sent me back to the normal peasant mold. And it just always get the same gems of wht ever. And I tried upgrading my little bowl 🥣 to get more gems in there but I always just get four. Any way, on the lighter side, I sorta liked the bit where you hammer the 🗡️ but it gets old. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬👎👇🏼👇🏼🙊
Ok
Its not very good, its very buggy, it looks like the developers took little to no time on it, and its basifally a cash grab,
Inaccurate
This game is sort of accurate to real life forging but it is mostly about casting using Liquid Metal please make this game more accurate to real life forging
Very fun
The is very fun to play
Its an interesting game
I give it a low score because it does have an ad plague. But more than that, the distinction between the hues in the ores is actually terrible. I think just swapping a few models and textures (rougher or shinier materials, along with smoother or more boxy models) will make the ores easier to identify so I’m not mixing Tin and Aluminum up. Also I’d love to see a better control on what ores you get in some way, I like the randomness but I also struggle with quests asking for rare or higher because of this. Especially after upgrading the crucible. I’m doubtful anything will be done, as the game seems pretty much how I’d seen it on Google play years ago, but I do hope you revisit this one day.
The ore
I honestly love this game and I spend a good hour on it at least once every day. It’s good, easy to interact with. However, I do wish it had a menu for you to upgrade the quality of ore you can get since it’s just purely random. It does make it even more enjoyable when you get 3 mithril however once that happens I won’t see mithril until the next week. I would love the game even more if you had a feature that could create better odds for rarer materials.
Good But Laggy!
The game itself is good but the game seems to always crash every time an advert comes on😭😭
Actually a good Game
It really is a good game. Minus the AD that runs immediately after make a sword and every sword after there is an AD. But I will say that I usually uninstall a game like that immediately, this however I made like 20 swords/ watched 20 ads before uninstalling. Sooo….
It is kind of cool.
The sword options are kind of cool.
Way too many ads
I love this game but there are too many adds and im not paying to get rid of ads
Great game but idea
i love this game but i feel like there should be something where you can upgrade something so there is more chance of getting a certain material. overall great game love it
Love the game but they’ve overspammed it with ads!!
The game itself is great and addicting but every tiny little thing you do they shove an advert on it!! I don’t mind watching them to do the upgrades but when your then forced to watch them every time you finish a sword it’s just too much!! If it wasn’t for the ad spamming id of given it 5 stars
Not enough variety
Cool concept just needs some switch up in play
Good game
Just hope they continue to update it
wth bro
it wont let me accept the first quest
Devs better read this
If you are reading I want it to where before testing there is an option where you can ad an ability like spin attack for ex you can decide the abilities but I also want you to make it to where you can choose from these elements: fire, wind, water, ice, blight, poison, acid, lightning, and life steal. Also add more weapons like battle axe, javlein, falchion, bow, (metal bows) , great sword, shield (metal too) war axe, zweihander, etc, etc. I hate devs if they are not reading this and not put this in game. Also make the diamond look less like tin. That is how I get cheap swords and it is annoying because sometimes I also pass up diamond because it looks like tin. My suggestion: make it a really really light blue.
But
My dad hated this app. He said it doesn’t remind him of a table what so ever. Please fix this!
Way too many adds
When I first saw this game it looked really cool and pretty fun and it is but eventually like 20 mins in I got ads left and right they kept coming so if your reading this make sure you know you will get ads left and right
Don’t know much about anything else
Just keep to me smithin’.
Broken and Abandoned
There’s been a bug for the free version that prevents you from doing or obtaining anything that’d require you to watch an ad. Been hoping for a fix cuz this wasn’t a bad time waster, but after almost 2 years of “bug fixes” that never fixed this issue. I’m going to one star review it, delete it after having played it for 4-5 years and hope for Lion Studios and everyone connected’s bankruptcy.
Good
It’s a really fun game the only thing I would change would be the graphics if it was 3D you had to cut things you could do other things and maybe some things cheaper it would totally be a five star game there’s not a lot of ads and it really overall nice.
Never seen a game with MTX that can be completed in 2-3 hours.
Honestly why have micro transactions when the game be completed in 2 runs. You unlock some stuff, log off and the next day you have enough gold to buy all upgrades. At that point what do you even do in the game? Just keep making swords for nothing? Make some well needed improvements as I’d go as far as saying this is a lazily made game. Iron and Zinc are identical, tin, silver and aluminium are identical, iron, steel and tungsten are identical... literally just a random process in mining and it results in some shockingly bad productions.
Forge
That game was good just my money counter broke and is glitched
.
Can be better
I bought no ads and its still giving me ads😑😑
What the title says
A Game Worth Playing Most of the Time
This game is, for the most part, well done. The gameplay is simple but surprisingly engaging, the customization is interesting for the most part, and it’s not something you need to spend hours upon hours of time to get good at, although you certainly could spend quite a bit of time playing. The gameplay lends itself to a sort of rhythm when making swords, and I think the simplicity of the game lends to this. However, I still can’t give it five stars for three particular reasons, and in order of largest reason to the smallest, those are: 1) the mining step 2) the customization 3) ad amount The mining step is, to say the least, somewhat infuriating. There have been numerous times where I want to make a specific combination of ores in order to create a possibly cool-looking sword, only to have said sword ruined by three pieces of copper and a piece of tin. If there were a way to discard ores you didn’t want to use during the mining step but decrease the spawn rates of rarer ores, that would turn this game into an incredible time sink that I personally know I could spend more time than is likely healthy on. Another issue is the similarity of all the grey ores. The minute differences in shade make them nigh impossible to tell apart, and half the time I end up with tin in a sword when I thought it was aluminum or silver. Differentiating those would make this a lot better. These next two will be shorter, I swear. The customization, while I did praise it, still does leave something to be desired. There doesn’t feel like a large variety of theoretical combinations. To see more unique-looking blades and hilts would make this just that much more fun. An ad gets played every time you finish a sword, and I feel like maybe that might be a little too much for some people, myself included. I understand that you’re getting revenue from them, but you also have other games where you can pull revenue from, and I doubt that changing the program so an ad plays after every two swords will show that much difference in income. People will still pay for no ads, so the amount is, to an extent, somewhat irrelevant. All in all, great game, but needs some quality of life improvements.
Accuracy
Somewhat fun but whoever made this has zero understanding of metallurgy whatsoever
It was fun… for a bit
I enjoy this game as a great time waster, I even paid to go ad free which I rarely do, usually I just delete a game once the ads get annoying but I liked playing this and seeing what kinda of swords I could make but that’s also where the biggest and possibly only major flaw comes into play. I currently have everything but shine speed, sword price and sword capacity maxed out, shine speed is at +80% and the price is ridiculous now for something rather pointless. The major problem though is when it comes to collecting ore, there I absolutely no way to filter it, we need something like that, maybe an option to try and break the junk ore before it rolls down or a way to break open the rocks then pick the ore we want and six are the other ore because at this point in the game I would feel pretty nice to craft something other then common quality swords for once.
Awesome game but needs an update
This game is awesome and fun to play when your bored. The ads are space out well so it’s not every second. Great game although it needs updates. I think it’s a good idea to add more ores to collect and find. Also maybe add more capacity to the crucible. And if your going to add more ores, please make one line or neon green. I think it would make the sword look very cool. Last thing, maybe for an update you can add a place we’re you can forge or mix metals together and make different or better materials to craft swords. That’s all I have over all great game! Play it on the bus every day on the way to school. That’s all I have so if you read this please add at least one of the updates suggested. Bye and Thank you for your time! :)
ORE CHOOSING MECHANIC
We need a mechanic where we can dispose of unwanted ores! I am sick of this it is so stupid you guys don’t have that yet the game developers need to get to work on this
Options
Love the game needs a second sword rack that maybe doesn’t make money but allows you to keep swords you like that may be less valuable.
Good game but
Good game but too many adverts make a sword and then sell items rate it a 2 because of adverts.if there were no adverts it would be perfect
Great game with some MAJOR bugs
I have to say, this is one of the best games I’ve seen in quite awhile. However, there is this one bug that makes it so that on level 70, you can’t complete it. You just can’t. The sword just doesn’t forge.
