Loss of Coverage on eSIM
It is very frustrating to be using MPESA and be in a position where that because I am not using my communication line then someone decides it needs to disappear from my end! Can’t anyone see that I am actively using other components on my SIM! I hate to be outside the country and not have access to using my Safaricom line to receive texts from Kenya!!!!

Not a good app like the other older versions
The basics are Good
To do the basics for mPesa it’s good (usually), but for other actions and services sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t and you can never tell which it is going to be. And there’s no easy way to work out what is wrong with the app or the user. More online help would be useful.

Is there a way to stop the promo texts and requests to register SIM card even after it is done. This is very annoying and unprofessional. Please stop.

Can’t get it to work outside of the country if you get a new phone. Then safaricom says you have to be in the country for it to be fixed! Very frustrating
App non responsiveness
The app hangs a lot When I click on view balances to pay for the postpaid subscription, no response, the app hangs
Home fiber internet payment
When I had installed the app for the first time, it was very easy for me to top up my home fiber internet through your app, change package etc. For the last almost year, I had once tried to change my package- since then the app is ‘frozen’ for my internet payment plan and despite of several complaints, no one is able to correct the anomaly’s. Disappointed
Western Union transfer
I have three transfers in Q as available but Safaricom or Mpesa is not accepting them or you are blocking them??!! Why
Need explanation
The airtime depletes without me using it. Surely this is unfair!!!!
Till number "favorites" bug
In "Till number favorites" I have till numbers I never put myself, and deleting gives an error. The till numbers I had saved myself disappeared.
Unprofessional language
I don’t understand why there can’t be an option to have your app to be set to pure English or Kenyan pure Swahili which Ai can then translate if needed. I dont understand most what these junk text messages every day as they come in broken English or local dialects. I’ve just understood that “Ofa” means “Offer” When you are running a multi continent business, you have no time to think of such lazy language. We can’t wait for there to be a better option network to do business with professionally.

Terrible customer service
Internet connection using bundles with 4G is getting worse by the day!! This new “My One App” is terrible and it does not recognise the mobile Data when it is on so you cannot login!!! Also it says you can login with your phone number but it does not give the space/place to actually input the number!!!! So I cannot login at all!!!!! Need to use what was on th old app system urgwntly to use Global pay for a payment!!!!!safaricom has become complacent and the service is practically none existent!!!! Very hard to get to speak to an Agent/Customer Care person live!!!!! Nothing is straight forward!! It is never working properly!!!!! Safaricom is just sucking money from us and letting us get defrauded and we are losing out monies!! You need to get your act together and start giving the real service that we pay for!

ESIM Hassle
They require customers to visit a corporate office just to get an eSIM, while many other networks let you convert a physical SIM to an eSIM yourself in minutes. Very inconvenient and outdated process.
Expensive and very poor signal
A convenient but expensive way of paying your bills if you can get a signal, I have started to carry cash again because a lot of the time there is no signal to pay by mpesa
Always needs updating.
App needs far to much updating! Unsustainable. Sometimes when I travel I am only on WiFi while it needs to update without WiFi

MMSC failure & Spam Text
MMSC wasn’t set up properly or may be blocked. Customer care gave no clear answers. I’ve heard Airtel offers better data and smoother MMSC settings. I’m seriously considering switching. Too many spammy text that keeps coming back. Text 333 to report these spam has no effect

Connectivity is great and so is the net speed, 3 stars because I could not figure out a way to find my balance airtime and data, even though I have the app, keeps asking me for m paisa pin, which the agent never told me or did not register it

Appears to have taken my money
I bought 3k of airtime and then tried to buy a 3k 5g package. It seemed to work but I got no data from it and when I tried to use my data safaricom said I had no active bundle. Now I deposited another 3k and tried to buy again, and this time it says insufficient balance! And there is no way to contact support on the app
Doesn’t load important features (eg bundles)
The App on my iphone is not loading important features such as the All-in-one Go Monthly bundle. Went to the Safaricom store and told to delete and re-download the app. Problem remained. I was also told that no Safaricom worker had an iphone to c of they were also having the same problem. Not a great app if I can’t determine my bundle options…
Bad customer service !!
I recently purchased 1000/=of easy air time bundles to last a month but for whatever reason I wasn't able to even call or text anyway yet Safaricom customer care are unreachable What a waste of time & money ! Daytime robbery of the highest level!

Pretty Useless
This app directs me to turn off wifi and go to settings every single time I run the app. Then I can’t get into my account. Typical Kenyan ingenuity.
M-PESA statement format
It would be great to have 1. mpesa statements in excel 2. Phone numbers detailed in the M-PESA statement 3. Ability to comment on transaction while making M-PESA payments for statements can have commentary

Not yet fully working.
Not sure what’s going on. The app generally works really well for most things. But!!!! The “view my balances” button rarely works. There’s no shadow to show it’s been pressed, I wait and wait but nothing. I close the app, reopen and still nothing. It’s been like this for the last 2 updates. Including this latest one. My favourites for paybill and buy goods have all disappeared, if I try to add again it tells me it already exists, but I can’t access it. This app goes backwards in usability. I would love it just to do what it used to do!!!! Id also like a feature where I can search my mpesa transactions for a person or their number to check old transactions.
Can’t buy bundles
Since last update I can’t buy bundles through the app. This is very troublesome for me. The interface just disappeared and deleting and reinstalling doesn’t help.
