At first, everything worked well, but then transfers to certain banks stopped working, and due to poor communication with customer support, we were unable to resolve the issue satisfactorily. Unfortunately, my experience with the service was a bad one.

I’started to use Genome a few months ago especially for payments in EU. Transactions processing very fast. I am fully satisfied and would recommend Genome for my friends.
Avoid! They charge for nothing and refuse to close the account!
I opened an account with Genome but didn't perform a single transaction. Just 15 days later, the company charged me a 20 EUR 'service fee' for an account I never even used. When I requested to close the account, they refused, stating they won't close it until I pay this 'debt' that appeared out of nowhere. Essentially, they are forcing users to stay, refusing to close accounts, and threatening debt collection over non-existent charges. They impose maintenance fees on new, inactive users without clear prior notice. I strongly advise against using this service - it acts like a trap that will cost you time, nerves, and money.

Bad user experience and expensive fees
Bad user experience, expensive fees for a neo bank, lack of functionality for transfers, annoying compliance even for transfers to my own account in another bank.
Not well, as the payment can be blocked or delayed for over 2 weeks
Bad service, they blocked money for 2 weeks and move it after I’ve written 10 times each day to support team, even I provided all income details they couldn’t tell me the status of payment and when it’s gonna be proceeded. Support team can’t solve payment problems

Не зрозуміло, чому така висока оцінка програми 4,7. До того моменту, як пройшла верифікація моїх документів для користування програмою - жодної інформації про щомісячний платіж €20. Є багато інших додатків, які не беруть нічого за реєстрацію. А ці відразу після перевірки документів пишуть про комісію €20, хоча ще жодними сервісами їхніми не скористався. Спробую закрити рахунок.

Detail review of current online banking.
Basically this is a good online banking to have your founds on it safe and accessible. However, UKRAINIAN users need to note couple of points : 1. It's not possible to withdraw funds using Apple/Google/Garmin Pay linked to a Genome card; 2. Before receiving money to your account make sure that your limited is adjusted to requirements, as there is strict policy to avoid any frauds; 3. (Personally from my situation) while receiving big amount of money ,which is your salary or self employment income, be ready to provide required documents, it will take time up to couple of weeks, but it is necessary to follow procedures for further easy access to your funds and transfers; 4. Unfortunately Genome do not support transfers (including SWIFTs) to Ukraine, however it’s still possible, as Genome provide access to Wise application, where within a minute you are able to get your money from virtual Genome card to any Ukrainian bank; 5. Even though there are a lot of comments about slow support team reply, in my case support team was very fast and helpful via email and Telegram bot, all explanations were provided and even with delay I still receive my money, so big thanks to them for being cooperative and consistent in responding; 6. Last one and one of the most important, be responsible and truthful while filling up profile during registration, as wrong information can cause a lot of consequences and unnecessary waisted time. Put information,source of income and field of work as it is, after there are no problems following. Just want to say thank you one more time for such useful and easy in use application. Special great-fulness to team behind the screens who do such a great and hard job to respond and assist each user, I’m very satisfied and happy with your service! :)

So be ready, that account creation costs 20€, which is not obvious when you are creating account. And they are refusing to fully delete your account, if you won’t pay that fee.

Unexpected €5 Charge Right After Verification
As soon as you verify your account, Genome immediately asks you to pay €5. Yes, this monthly fee is mentioned in their pricing, but it feels wrong — I hadn’t done anything yet, no transactions, just completed verification. A few hours later I asked to close my account, since you can’t do it yourself. Their reply: “You have an unpaid balance of €5 — please pay, and then we’ll close your account.” It sounded like they were trying to make me pay just to confirm I agreed to a service I hadn’t even used. You can’t access anything until you pay, and if you pay — that’s taken as consent. I reminded them about the EU 14-day right to withdraw from a service that hasn’t been provided — and only then they closed my account. Not recommended.
