2nd maybe even 3rd purchase now and both times sim has worked great up until a few days before my plan ends and it randomly doesn’t work and the app decides to not let me in saying there is a tls error and now I’m stuck abroad still without a sim and not able to download any new apps as WiFi is to slow can just about send a message.

I paid $28 for 10g for a trip to EU. I got zero usage out of it and after 2 hours it said i used all the data. Customer service just spit out the classic lines about why they cant take responsibility and treat their customers correctly

Not great for london
Very easy to set up, clear plans that were average value. Found in London it was clear that the Airalo connection was being deprioritised compared to local connections. Issue was not obvious in Edinburgh or in Spain.

Awful E-Sim
Do not recommend! I got the app after seeing a popular YouTuber recommend this for travelling, downloaded the app and E-Sim for a trip to France, worked for a couple of hours and then was left with no data or service at all. Tried contacting their help line, very disappointed and frustrated as spend a got hour of my own holiday try to sort this out. Will never use again

Helpdesk workshop but it took me a lot of time and frustration to try to get the downloadend e-sim to work with did not work….so at the end i had to but a new e-sim and this one with help i got it to work…..it was not easy

I love not having to pay extra and any place I go, there’s always a service for it. Always 5G full bars 10/10 recommend
Unreliable
I’ll have data and bars but at random no service when I previously did and nothing has changed. I have data. Switched from automatic to selected carriers. I’ve done everything. All the resets. I really just have to wait for the phone to decide when it wants to reconnect.

Everything worked easily
Gone are the days when I would travel and getting a SIM would be a huge headache. Airalo just worked, easily, using the app on my iPhone. I used it for China (Beijing-Shanghai) and Taiwan and the coverage was great. Totally works.
Really terrible
I’ve been using this eSIM service for years, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I bought a one-week continental plan, and while it worked fine in the first country, it became very unreliable in other countries. At one airport, I was stuck for nearly three hours without a usable connection even though I had only used about half of my data. This was frustrating and unacceptable, especially for a service meant for international travel. I’ve now decided to stop using it and switch to another provider.

Camino trip perfect
I used this eSIM in 2025 for my Camino Portuguese and now I’m using it for my Camino Francis. Worked great.

Everyone needs to read my completely disappointed, unsatisfied comments with thorough details before you decide to whether download Airalo’s app and purchase their products and service. Although my iPhone is perfectly compatible with eSIMs and all my other cellular services are eSIMs and work all good, Airalo’s eSIM product can’t work in Singapore and the customer service especially the live agent whose name is Sophia is even more troublesome. I am extremely unsatisfied with their live agent whose name is Sophia. And the other live agent named Mia is also unprofessional and cannot understand the customer’s concerns. Mia is just a little less disappointed than Sophia. I reckon everyone can do better job compared to Sophia. I have already followed the exact every steps of instructions Sophia sent me and tried to installed the eSIM again and again for more than 10 times even with different approaches she sent me and failed to install again and again. The result of installation is always the same failure with the same error both for the original ordered eSIM and replacement one. However, Sophia is extremely unprofessional, lack of trust and lack of patience. She keeps asking my sensitive personal information and constantly asking the screenshots of different parts of my mobile phone. I even have to send the screenshot of every step to indicate that I followed her useless instructions and guidance. Can you imagine how many screenshots I sent to her since I tried more than 10 times and endlessly failed with the same error? She even didn’t trust me that I followed her instructions after I sent millions of screenshots to her. Even more excessive is that she even asked me to send screenshots of my sensitive personal information and some other screenshots of unrelated stuff of my mobile phone. I highly doubt these screenshots are related to the concern and problem. Those are totally unnecessary and she is extremely unprofessional. She is also easily irritated. She never understands the customer’s aka my concern. She never proactively gives me any solutions for the ceaseless failure for the installation of eSIM. I as a customer has to think about the solutions of the problem. She constantly repeat the same words which she has already sent to me millions of times. Never give me any further solutions or alternative choices. I, as a customer has to think of solutions and alternative options all the time. In summary, She just does nothing but constantly repeat the same words incessantly and somehow she is even fractious. She shout to me, lost her temper and talked with me in sarcastic and ironic tone on the chat online!

Connection is very good and strong but kind of difficult to install in every country but the good side of it is that once you’re connected and have access it’s very reliable
