Great reference
Excellent resource
NOT a Catholic Bible
A “Holy Catholic Bible” based on Protestantism. Did not see anywhere which edition, many books and saints are missing. Do yourself a favor and get a legitimate Catholic Bible app.
Bad user experience
Very slow to load and sometimes won’t even open up very frustrating. Decided to delete app and reinstall and I lost all my history I was on day 216…. That was really annoying!!! No way I could tell to restore my history or point in the journey.
A work in progress
A really like the potential for this app, quizzes, videos, text to speech, various fonts, etc., but many of these features don't seem to work. The fonts work, but the text shows the encoding at the beginning and end of each verse. There's no sound when using text to speech. When hitting "Play Now" in the quiz section it address states the questions aren't ready; Videos, "No results found". It looks like it's still a work in progress, or it has been abandoned as the last update was a year ago.
The best Holy Catholic Bible
Regardless, if it’s traditional or not Catholicism and its Bibles are D maximum authority which is gog itself. and this this Bible is the Bible amen. Ain’t it?
Misleading/Confusing
I downloaded this App specifically for the audio feature as advertised. Either it does not exist or is ridiculously difficult to access/find for the average person. Disappointing. KW
Why advertising
Tried feedback. Wouldn’t let me do it, had to search app. Every time, an advertisement from who? Google of course. Really bad ads and service
Information needed
Where is the Bible dictionary mentioned in the app?
Bible
It’s easy to read. Has everything i want to know and easy to find what I should know.
Fake Catholic Bible
This App is lying . It’s not a Catholic Bible App. The book of Daniel has 14 chapters. Daniel 3 has 100 verses, not 30 like the Protestant bible has. It doesn’t even have the book of Wisdom in it. All Catholic Bibles have the book of Wisdom, Tobit, 1 & 2 Maccabees, Baruch, Sirach, Judith, additions to Esther. So I would not recommend this app.
You have commercials for games and all sorts of things coming in and you can’t get them off.
They annoying to use the app for bible study these commercials they use music and all kinds of things it’s very loud so I find I cannot use it when I take it to my Bible study.
Not a Catholic Bible
This app doesn’t include all of the books of the Catholic bible.
Great App
The only thing I would like, would be all GOD’s & Jesus’s speaking would be in red.
Don’t do it
1.Paid for ad free and still get ad every time I open it. 2. It now displays color and font symbols in New Testament when Jesus speaks. Annoying to the point of being unusable 3. Unable to notify developer under feedback options as it doesn’t work 4. I need to find another app now and will abandon this app that I paid for
Disappointed
This app never had any games advertised on it before, so why now? I don’t like reading the Bible and having games advertised before I even start to read. I deleted the app because of the games being advertised.
Great way to read and keep track of your progress
I have only one issue with this app … it doesn’t sync between devices. Most of the time I use my iPad to do my reading because it’s easier on my eyes. However, there are times when my phone is more convenient, but since progress isn’t synced across devices, I have to try to remember where I left off each time I switch from one device to the other. There seems to be no way to ask for help, so I’m hoping the creator of the app will see this review.
So useful and everything you need
Can jump to any part and was so helpful in confession with father James
Many quality of life improvements could be made
When Jesus’ words are on the page, there is html code telling you font color. The text to speech reads those codes every single time. There should be a option to have the text to speech announce the chapter number or not announce the chapter number. Maybe have a different ai voice be used when Jesus is talking in the text to speech, like during Holy Week when the priest says Jesus’ words during the readings. Lots of bugs with picking up where you left off with the text to speech. Very hard to select what verse you want and have it keep reading from there. Sometimes it stops and you have to keep starting over and over.
So many bugs…
I really want to love this app because I’ve paid for the ad free version however, I’ve submitted several things of feedback regarding all the bugs and nothing ever changes. The New Testament progress doesn’t sync, none of the fonts read appropriately. It’s just frustrating. Maybe this will get their attention…
No audio version. Only text-to-speech robot voice
Unfortunately, this app does not include the Bible read by a human voice. The “audio” version is merely created with a computer reading the text. It’s better than nothing, but it’s not easy to listen to compared to a human voice.
Easy access
Excellent source to continue the growth with my faith and the Holy Spirit from within is awesome feeling!
Not a Catholic Bible
Only 66 books not 73
Dissatisfied
If you spend money on this Bible application (purchasing the ad-free version), the application will continually force advertisements and links to external sites when you load it up. This app can be better.
Good Bible app
Good app when you don’t have a Bible in hand 😂
Get rid of ads
I would love this app if only there was a way to get rid of the ads.
Purchased the app but there are still ads!
I’m disappointed because I still have to deal with ads-EVEN after paying to not have to see them anymore!
Great Bible!
I really like this Catholic Bible. I hope one day it will find its way into the print market. I would like to see it in a genuine leather edition, with fine, high quality India Bible paper, gold gilded edged pages, ribbon markers, presentation sections, words of Christ in red, referenced and indexed, etc.
Too many adds
Can’t read a chapter without having to deal with adds
Not as advertised
I purchased because audio was advertised. No audio option is available to me. Also, if I switch to a different app and then go back to the Bible, ads pop up. Not sure why if there are no ads for the paid app. I’ve emailed twice but no response. I would love for it to work properly for what I’ve paid for. If it wont properly work I’d appreciate a refund. Thank you.
What a blessing!
The sword of the spirit, at the touch of a finger!
Ads
Ads reading the Bible? Really? Pathetic.
Won’t open
Getting frustrated, try to open the app and it sits for a lil while then just exits back out. I even just paid for no ads now I can’t get into it. Spiritual warfare grrr
Thank you Father 🙏🏻🕊✝️
Love it!!!
NOT Catholic
Despite the name this is not a Catholic Bible. Deeply disappointed.
White blank screen
I used this app and even paid to remove the ads but now it won’t open and is just a blank white screen.
