Just what I wanted
Awesome App. Was looking for a simple visualizer for my sequencers that listened through the mic, and this exceeded my expectations! Great job and nice design.
Not it.
Cute and all but it can’t to anything unless you’ve paid and downloaded the music prior or have your mic on. Not how I want to experience my music. I was seriously hoping for some that can visualize the music I’m listening to on Spotify or YouTube music with my headphones. So I don’t have to be that weirdo playing their music out loud. Really disappointed honestly.
Cool app with one pretty significant flaw
This is a solid music visualizer that is rendered nearly useless by one major flaw. If I have my music just stored locally in a folder on my phone in the files app, and then I choose one or more of those songs to play back in Phazr, once it’s finished playing the song(s), they’ve disappeared from the files app entirely. It seems that somehow Phazr is deleting every song I play with it, without any warning or notice or anything. So basically, if you’re using this as a music player, either be prepared to lose those files after Phazr has played them, or I guess keep duplicates of everything on your phone to replace the files that Phazr will delete. Either way, it’s a pretty significant flaw that makes the app nearly unusable for playing music that you actually want to keep stored on your phone. Someone brought up the same issue in a review from October of last year, but it appears after 5-6 months, nothing has been done to solve the problem yet. Use this app at your own risk and know in advance that if you play a song in the app, it’s probably not going to be on your phone anymore after Phazr has finished playing it. Edit: I emailed the developer about the problem, and received a response the next day, and an update that fixed the problem was released shortly after. So I can much more confidently recommend this app now.
Can’t use it even though I would love to.
The app will just take up space on my IPad because I can’t even use it with Apple Music. I wanted this to work so bad. I was excited
Good Concept
Love the concept, but the haptics needs some tweaking. Almost every frequency seems to trigger them to the same degree so that listening to most music gets very muddy very quickly in terms of haptics. I found that New Order works well for the most part, but anything with more subtlety just becomes a mess. Even New Order starts getting messy with more than just a baseline and some strings. It would be nice to have the option to tailor the haptic feedback by frequency.
worth it!!!
as a artist and listener perspective!!! amazing development on this app! hope for new features and visuals soon!!! ⛓️💥🔥💓😌
Doesn’t work with Apple Music
I know it doesn’t say but it would be nice to mention it doesn’t work with Apple Music. Feels kind of intentional
Great app
I really enjoy using the app and appreciate all the features. I was wondering if it might be possible to add haptic feedback when the screen is locked. Thank you for considering my suggestion!
Possible bug: files deleted after playing
Under airplane mode, no permission to Apple Music/media, and playing music by selecting files from another app (VLC), the files completely disappear after playing. No trace in Recent, Recently Deleted, or their original place. Please investigate if this is a problem with the app or not. iOS 26.0.
Great production quality
It looks great and i would just love to use it but i have been using SoundCloud premium for my music for years and it requires that i have Spotify premium for use. If you could make it Soundcloud compatible i would greatly appreciate it.
Great! But
I love the app. Found a little laggy in the beginning because of the delay for the menu options to load up. Please add the support for background playback with the vibrations.
does not work with apple music
It should be more obvious in the description that this app does not work with apple music or i’m assuming any other streaming service. extremely disappointed
Great
Thanks for the update for OS26! Great for the price. I praise the fixed price, if it were for absurd monthly fees, I would never take it. I praise Family Sharing, even vibration feedback on the iPhone and perfect iPad support. Only a few effects. Take an example from Staella. I would like similar effects here. You have a functionally better application. Picture-in-picture support is still missing.
Wish it worked with Spotify ..
Does not work with Spotify or something with drm.
First attempt good, second attempt…
The first time i tried it, it worked perfectly fine. I love the visuals and everything! Very beautiful! Screen recorded it to save it, and i love everything about it. Used an mp3 from files. Closed out the app and came back again after a few minutes to retry it as I wanted another visual. I inserted the mp3 file again and the visualizers didn’t work. It’s a shame since I loved the visualizers si much but can’t get them anymore. Tried to redownload and didn’t work either.
Absolute Gold
Nothing much to say except that this is a 10/10 app for anyone who appreciates synesthesia and well-made products.
Don't waste your money - joke
Waste of money
Nearly what I need
If it kept playing when the screen was off, it’d be perfect. Love the haptics with the music.
Best visualizer ever
This app is very very good for visualization without ads that go across your screen and it’s a full-size screen for the visualizer. Easy control and fun to watch.
Can’t get app to work
I cannot get the app to play any of my music
Good but music should not come from direction of app
I just got this working with downloaded music, but what’s not great is that the music comes from the UI interface in fact when you hit the X button, it closes the music but what I really want is to be able to hide and immerse myself in visualization and for the music to be all around me, not coming from the app
Great way to reexperience the music you love
I really enjoy the immersive experience of the music I already love. Both AR/VR Options depending on the mood I’m in.
Abspielen von 4+ Minuten-Tracks nicht möglich.
Ist dies etwa nur ein Bug oder muss man eine Pro-Version kaufen, ganze Songs abspielen zu können?! Es ist doch nicht zu viel verlangt!
Amazing app, one small issue.
When I upload a song to the app, it ends early but says it's the same length as in my files.
Phazr Reviews
Amazing App! Cool Visuals! Love the interactive idea provided!! Love the mic voiceover and music files that can be provided!! 10/10 Only thing I would love to see within the app is if there would be a more variety of visuals. Not sure if that’s to come soon or etc etc, but other than just a bigger variety, the app is amazing!!
Dmr-free music
I downloaded the app but it is telling me that there are no results when I pick a song. how do I locally download music so it can appear on the app and I can listen to it
Perfect Syncing
…but needs a shuffle mode for both trax/visuals (and a lot more visuals than just 9) With that, Phazr will be 1 of The Best there is! …but what do you expect for free
Too Kewl!
A totally satisfying bit of software.
Good app…but
I like the app I can listen to my music without any problems! But one thing I don’t like is it won’t play repeat. If you could add that one day I would love it!
Very well made
I love this app, especially for the haptics, one downside is that apple music songs won’t work so I have to download songs to files. Still worth it in my opinion. Edit: If I could 6/5 stars, if you rotate your device, the visualiser moves with it and adds immersion
great app for ADHD, some suggestions
this app is great for people with short attention spans, like me. i would like to suggest some things though: being able to disable AR and instead move the camera with either fingers or some other method, and also being able to control the zoom or other settings relating to the visualizer. color schemes, things like that. otherwise, this is an amazing app and i would love recommending it to anyone who enjoys visuals.
Satisfying Experience
The visuals are beautiful. Every time you tap an icon, everything opens smoothly. You can even change the appearance of the Home Screen icon! This app definitely had some hard work and love put into it.
Great but missing one important feature
This is amazing but it’s missing any shuffle capability from what I can tell which seems like a necessity I’d love for one to be added in the future
