Very addictive
To start off this review, I AM playing the paid version. This game is so very addictive! Everytime I play it, I feel like time goes by muc faster. I have over 30 generations in game, so I have definitely played this quite a bit. Honestly, the game is not beginner friendly. Many of the professions (the high-paying ones) require actual planning and a lot of struggling and noodling with the schedules and traits to get. There is no proper tutorial for what the profession levels are scaled off of. In the game, the Gaokao is a big end goal, yet as you progress through generations, it becomes less and less relevant. Even if you get a high Gaokao score, you might land a really mid job. Intentional or not, if a game’s huge premise is on studying for the Gaokao, it should matter more when you get each generation’s endings. Not to mention it REALLY needs an update… Overall though, this game is very fun! Love it, definitely would recommend (honestly the paid version’s worth it)!

I love this game. I adore playing game after game after game, even making so many different accounts just to do so. I'd sincerely buy this game if I could afford it. But I also strongly believe that you could do better. Translation issues, grammar and pronoun errors, lack of depth to characters and story, no real sense of attachment due to characters turning into the same people after each generation, unfair and unforgiving pacing for new players, unbalanced RNG, odd clutter that makes no sense; Who are the friends in my profile? They're not even in the game? Who are you? Why does the little otaku girl even exist (feels gross)? What is the point of the extra personality slot, "You are a hard one to get, quite profound"? Why is the nickname only ever "Others' child"? Wasn't there supposed to be other names? Why can't my girl learn piano, but my boy can? Why not give her a violin, at least? Why are the things for unfinished or unobtainable careers even available? Why, when we're asked for our dreams, can't we have a "I change my mind" or "Reconsider" option, when we pick an option we don't understand, and realize we don't want? I want to explore, not be forced! I don't know everything! Why so few turns before the next phase in growing up? Make the game longer! I want my choices to mean something! I don't want heirlooms, I don't want pets, I don't want DLC, or anything else! I just want a complete, polished, quality game. Then I will save money to buy it. I love this game so dearly...but you can do better!

This game is like an ultra hard mode version of the game “Growing Up,” basically. Instead of a simple childhood growth simulator, you experience the pressures of impossible standards in your school and home life. That said, if you like the challenge, it’s pretty fun, though there is a lot of cultural stuff that one not acquainted with a Chinese household will not understand.

Game is interesting but very difficult
Overall I enjoyed the game and the graphics are really pleasing, however, it is difficult to understand and play and the directions are often hard to understand. The ad free and calm atmosphere is intriguing but I feel the game could be improved with simpler instructions.

I’m on my 11th generation! I was thinking the devs dropped the game already, but we have an update after so long! Hopefully they add the DLC that’s mentioned on the title screen soon.

This game looks fun but I can’t play it by it just has a thing saying Facebook login and it takes you to Facebook but I don’t have it. I want to play this but I can’t so maybe could you make it so you don’t have to sign in😂

I really love this game. It’s really interesting to use. I love how you took that as a baby and then replay your own baby as you go. I also paid for the full game so I really did pay you sometimes I get bored but then I play it again. This is so entertaining.
