What people like
- Great variety of cool effects
- Simple and easy to use
- Makes your videos look professional
What they complain about
- App crashes when importing photos
- Ads freeze or fail to load
- Exported video quality is terrible
Effects won’t download
Hi, I recently installed the app to go and use this one video effect I liked, and when the app comes up, it shows the controls, and interface, on a black screen though a pop up box shows up and says: “Can’t download Effects now!” Please check your Internet connection! When given the option to press retry, it doesn’t! do and the pop up still reappears. I hope that this issue can be fixed in another update, I love this app!
Conned
First, I downloaded the free version, then after a short while I upgraded and paid money for the limitations and watermarks to be removed permanently. Or so it told me… recently I was prompted to update the app which I did. Now it’s covered in adverts and I can’t use a lot of the effects. Basically, it’s reset to the free version again and is almost unusable. Bit cheeky really. Very disappointed.
Fun for video style modding
Does what it says well
Great effects, no settings, major issues
This app has amazing effects but has major issues. The save functionality of this app is just about broken and the quality of the rendered video is much lower than that of the live preview. Therefore screen recording the live preview is the best way to to get the most quality out of this app which is very unfortunate because the effects are so good despite not having any knobs or properties to tailor the effects. And there are ui elements over the live preview.
Low quality when exported
The app is cool but the quality becomes terrible when the video/photo is exported
vhs
vhs damaged tv
Downloads in HD only
Makes my videos literally glitch and lowers the reso from 4k to 720p
This app brings what it says.
Are you looking for vhs? Yes. This app brings it. As far as other things? No. The quality is amazing for the price and is very simple/easy to use. I only wish I could edit the filter a bit by myself which it doesn’t give you the option to do so. Nonetheless. This app brings what it says.
Images
Crashes on image import now on ios18
Almost perfect
The app has and does everything I want it to, except the bugs makes it so that some files can’t be saved or edited properly. I paid to unlock all the features, and yet it’s a hit or miss with certain files.
Great App!
Love using this app! Great variety of glitch effects
Broken
No matter what I upload and whatever filter I use it cuts the image in half and cants it sideways.
Question
How do you unselect
Can’t import photos
Whenever I try to add a photo from my album the app just close. Also the effect 1980’s VHS instead of text is just 3 white squares I wish they fixed this
Video time is limited. It should be at least 90 seconds.
You can’t even choose a video that is the link of an Instagram reel. Why?
Love this!
This is awesome
Ruined it
Was good at first now they completely RUINED IT!
I like the app but one thing
I like it but whenever I put the vhs smooth effect and save it ,it just lags I don’t know if you have fix this issue but if I haven’t pls fix this issue you don’t have to
Aceptable.
Aceptable.
Works well, annoying ads.
Since it is free, It is totally worth it.
Great app
Great effects.
Was great. Now deleted
Was a great app. Could remove the watermark by watching an ad now you have to purchase to remove. Also there are certain ones only available with premium that used to be free. Just like the other glitch apps I had before. Too bad I really loved it too 😢👎🏻
Great
👍🏽👍🏽
too many ads but good
too many ads but good
Good
Pretty good I guess. Good for pibby video
I like the effects.
Nice app
Good app but ruined by ads
Ruined by ads
Very good app
Like that can watch ad to remove watermark however there is a glitch in the adverts it shows advert loading but does not load. This is a little annoying. Great app would consider a one time payment full download. But not keen on subscription based models. The effects are very good
they made me do this
lol
Ok
It often glitches and says loading ad but never loads the ad so it just freezes
Enjoying Glitch
Just started using Glitch, really enjoying the different effects- thanks!
Shuts down
Doesn't let you choose how you want your photo to face
Good 8 out of 10
Adds need removing. Better than most.
bug
everytime im trying to edit a photo it kick me out of the app
I’d love this app if I could make the ads go away.
Good selection of effects for photos and videos, if only you could pay a fee to make the mandatory ads go away. By fee, I don’t mean subscription. Subscription fees are an instant app delete for me. A sensible price and I’ll happily pay to remove ads.
Stellar
Like putting whipped cream on top of a sundae. Glitch allows you to up your project from ok to A+. Great ready to hear, “how did you do that?” cuz you are going to get asked that constantly. I love Glitch! A top notch tool in my toolbox.
Unusable
The app is stuck in a mode where it will overlay a black and white stretched effect by default. When you select any other effect, it will just combine the two, so you get this useless amalgamation of effects that look terrible. I deleted the app, but it still is like this after redownloading. It was glitchy before, but it would fix itself after restarting before
Good
Yes
xxx
I like ur app but dislike you ask to me what I have to do
Needs more fine tuning to get rid of bugs
Great product. Would rather pay than get ad prompts all the time though
Awesome app
Does exerting I wanted in an app like this.
Does not remove Watermark, even after you watch the ad.
Gives you an option to remove watermark if you watch the ad but this is not true. It Forces you to watch the ad & does not remove it. In another review from 5+ months ago they said they will fix the bug & it is still not fixed.
pretty good!
this is a neat app, i like the effects, they’re fun
Charge me to remove ads
Ads are terrible. App is cool.
Filters-Toon
Love this app highly recommend
Trash
It refuses to let me save anything so it’s a pointless app.
Great app But recent Bug
Great App to use. But unfortunately now it fails to load an add in order to get rid of the watermark. Tried uninstalling the app and it didn't fix the problem.
Issues after a few weeks.
Was going great for a few weeks, then randomly none of the photos would render vertical. Like their was a coding error in the app. No matter which “glitch” setting was chosen, the picture would be stretched across the screen horizontally and overlapping making it virtually unusable. I also deleted and redownloaded the app multiple times, but it never helped.
