Just like magic
This app is so much fun. It really brings the old black and white photos to life!
Colorization
Way off
Not Good
Too much left black & white, wrong colors
Hard to select photos
Once downloaded there seems to be no way or option to open photos on device to colorize. Only the initial photo I processed is showing

One of the best apps ever
I like it so much
Awful colours
I tried it on images I already knew the colours of and they were awful!
Can be more user friendly
It is fairly confusing to operate. Generally b&w photos are already on the iPhone or computer and it becomes confusing when before & after are saved as pair. I just want the after effect since I already have the before version.
Changed
Used to be able to download photos. Unable to do that now.

Great software!👍
Great software!👍
Deceptive scam
I thought for sure that I canceled my membership immediately after signing up for a free trial so I could colorize ONE photo of my aunt from her high school yearbook. I was just scanning my transactions from the last month and discovered I was billed $29.99 for a membership through December 2026. Extremely disappointing, buyer beware!
Colorize
Bastante bueno
Chintzy
Low class style
app works well but
the app works best out of all the others out there but on most images it will just cut parts out or flip it and it’s really annoying so please fix that. other than that it’s great
RESTORE
What a cool Color App to RESTORE the lost colors 👍👍
Rip-off
I paid for this app outright years ago and you have the audacity to change it to a subscription after the fact - well you can SHOVE IT crooks!
PJ
Generally very good and brings b/w photos to life but not perfect. Difficult to download to Google Photos. Overall - magic.
It seems to like multi-colouring areas that should be one general colour
It overthinks light and shade into contrasting colours like shot mohair
Colours very good but cropping the image is sacrilege.
I so wanted to give a five star review. I have been using this app for quite a while now. The colours are generally very good, with the odd one not coming out quite right. On the whole the results are very good, and it was worth paying the discounted price if offered. However, may I respectfully say, and complain, that for landscape images certainly, this software chops off part of the image. There’s the rub, why does it do that? Two stars off for me because that is a no-no in my book. If you stop chopping off parts of an image to a certain size then I’d certainly give it the full fat five stars.
Bring color to B&W photos
Great little app. Bring color to old B&W. Great for Facebook.
Lose your rights
It appears that this company will have the rights to use your Photos in any which way they desire. I deleted the app.
Decent
Not the best but can’t complain much
Getting started
I’m new here but I can’t get past the registration
Things they don’t tell you
If you have taken a picture of a page that has a few photos on it like you have in a photo album it will only process ONE of them so how do you do the others ? I’m still working on that. Also you can only import one photo at a time to processing - it takes ages when you have 50 to do … and that’s £7.49 a month. Note if this is any different and I’m doing it wrong I was unable to find anywhere that explains how to do it better than I have explained.
Amazing
So easy to use and some good features to smarten up your photos.
Not Like It Used To Be
This app used to be really good, however over the last year it no longer colours B&W photos nicely. It merges colours together, you end up with blue or red faces, clothes are a mix of colours. Not sure why it’s no longer working as it used to. A real shame
Gute App
Mit einer anderen App kann man Scan-Fehler gut nachkolorieren. Die Kombination macht es dann super. Leider fehlt hier die Möglichkeit der Nachbearbeitung. Trotzdem, klasse App

Very Good
Colorisation is very good, but how do yo stop it cropping the photo?
Embarrassing
Tested with easy-to-do photos I took and everything was all wrong. Novel concept, awful execution.
Pretty good
I’m using this to take pictures of my WW2 photos, for some it works pretty well but for close ups it keeps making their uniforms bright blue when I know for a fact they were brown. Please try to fix this, there’s way too much blue!
Super
Can’t express how much this app has made people happy. Black-and-white is great but color is better.
Trial is a lie
I signed up for the 3 day trial, tried it with a picture I really wanted in color, it didn’t work. Went to cancel and it says it’s good for a month, even though I hit trial 3 minutes ago. Save your money, it doesn’t even work
Refresh old photos
Give old Black & White photos a new look. Easy to operate.
Used to be ok
Too many adverts, to colourise one photo will require you to watch 4-5 adverts. Never used to be this bad. Before you say pay for it, I’ve only used it a handful of times in the last two years.
Good but could be better
Great to see something other than myheritage on the market - very easy app to use, however there could be an improvement on colorisation, particularly when distinguishing between colours. some of my images had bright red grass instead of green as well as pink skies which clearly was during midday. i paid $50 so i hope to see more like the ability to edit, add and remove colours
Quick note
Outstanding ! Just what I was looking for and at no cost
Dissatisfied
Why don’t you colourise the whole photograph and not just a portion of it. So irritating.
Easy to use
Great app but a bit heavy on blue hues
Not very good.
Downloaded and gave it a try as I have many old b&w images I would like to colourise. Unfortunately the first image I tried was of my father in his military dress uniform, which being a City of London Regiment should be Red. Unfortunately the algorithm decided it should be blue so I think this app may be a little unreliable. Shame.
Works ok, but don’t expect highly accurate
This is a great app for easy and quick processing. Results will vary greatly however. The app seems to lean heavily on the color blue which can leak in incorrectly. It struggles with uniform results on clothes from extremely old photos which can color some of it only leaving the look unnatural. It does do well on some photos, which may be due to quality of the original photo and can produce some nice results. Some of family photos from the 40’s & 50’s came out quite nice. It won’t replace the work of a professional who has understanding of right colors to apply to saw, military uniforms etc and have no spots in the image missed, but knowing that going in, you can enjoy what get most of the time. A touch-up editor would be nice after processing, for say the patchy work on clothes in extremely old clothes, in case you don’t have access to software to make necessary the corrections afterwards.
Colorize
Great app
DO NOT DOWNLOAD ITS A BAIT AND SWITCH!!!
this app is a clear bait and switch. Yes it allows colorization of photos but, you can’t save them only view them unless… You pay them monthly, or yearly, or one time for two years…. Theo bait you with the free colored pic but then make you pay to get a copy of it.. What a scam. Devs care more about money which is expected with AI tools… so sad.
Faces
Overall the app is very good but can’t understand in a group photo why some faces are sharpened and not others.
Tried it on a few old photos. Rubbish
Tried the demo version. Absolutely terrible with pantomime colours and one persons legs rendered blue!
OK but could be better
The App is OK but I was hoping it would do a better job but I suppose one shouldn’t complain, it is good to see them in some sort of colour.
