It literally is the best mobile platform for simulation dogfights in an aircraft!
Don’t spend money
The more you spend the worse you do. I played well until I bought upgrades. Once I did, I could no longer compete. Play for free and have fun but don’t spend money on in-app purchases.
Great game but one problem
Ok so I’ve been playing this for a while and it’s very fun. I’d definitely recommend this game but there is one problem, the new upgrade system. I hate the new upgrade system because used to you’d just earn enough money and click upgrade then your plane was upgraded, now you have to get certain things and upgrade different parts of your plane. Devs if you’re reading this, please go back to the old upgrade system!
Takes your money
They don’t tell you that half way into upgrading a plane you have to pay 70+ in gold per item upgrade. But that isn’t shown or listed in the price, only the parts required and the amount of coins required. Then when you pay a pop up displays and says pay 70+ gold. And the only way to get gold is to pay for it. I already payed for the gold to be able to upgrade the plane. It’s like a double charge.

CHANGE THE FOV BACK, RIGHT NOW. I BUY THE PACKS BUT I WILL STOP PLAYING BECAUSE THE FOV IS BAD. THE MAP AND ACTUALLY POV ARE NO LONGER PORTIONAL. CAPTURE THE FLAG IS LIKE A REALLY LONG TDM, LETS BIN IT.

The game has great graphics and isn’t easy to master the military aircraft power is pretty balanced out with different aircraft having different ups and downs which make it difficult to face,”Any pilot can beat any 5th generation aircraft, it’s not the plane it’s the pilot” there’s eight problems that I’ve found, when u create a squadron if u want to change the name or tag it costs a lot of gold, second is if u want to add someone to your squadron they should get the invite even if they are in another because they might want to change, and another problem is u can’t see or search players who don’t have a squadron the only way is to see them in a match, the fourth is that sometimes it won’t let me turn my plane or it gets stuck and the buttons don’t work and if I select cancel a match and it goes through it puts me in it. The fifth is if your a squadron owner u should be able to see your members friends because u want to find more good players and even if you’re not a squadron owner u should be able to. Sixth is that when I write a review it disappears. The seventh is that I can’t say protect me or back me up I can only do that to other players and I can’t plan a great strategy with the team just by myself because I there is no chat where I can text what I need just one that lets me say thanks and so on. The eighth is that if I want to invite someone who isn’t 1st,second or third in the match to my squadron I can’t. That’s what I think that should be changed otherwise great game and definitely one of my favorites. and I recommend everyone to play it and it doesn’t matter if your the best gamer ever it’s 100% worth playing.

結構クソなところが多い。マッチングしたら敵のbotはめちゃくちゃ強いのにこっちは無茶苦茶弱いみたいなことがざらにあるし、プライオリティターゲットというターゲットを取って逃げ回るやつもターゲット取るだけで理不尽感が強すぎる。 あと格納庫レベル解放が本当にできない。クレジットもっと配布するか機体解放しなくても次行けるようにするかして欲しい。 ゲーム自体は好き_(┐「ε:)_
Pros and Cons
This game is honestly THE game for entertainment on mobile. It is so good, from the detail and quality to the gameplay physics. But the one thing that really makes me ragequit is the fact that you literally cannot progress through the game quickly. Another problem is that at the start you win a lot but then you get put as a level 6 into lobbies of level 20 and it’s impossible to win. Gaining silver is also hard and so upgrading aircrafts and progressing through hanger levels is a nightmare. Other than that it’s honestly great and addicting.

Awesome game until recently
I have been playing the game for about 2-3 years now and have been enjoying it. Recently after receiving all the power ups and game currency from multiple game provided crates for some reason the game is acting funny. Missiles dont fire even after full lock on the enemy. Damage doesnt register as well from guns. It has become impossible to score kills for some reason and i am not a beginner to this game. Feels like the players who have made in app purchases have become almost impossible to kill. For some reason the game feels unfair to play for people who dont make jn app purchases. Otherwise its an awesome game. Please fix it since it has been ruining the experience. Make it a fair game again.

Ridiculous
Best way to describe how this game has been ruined. So obviously much more rigged, it’s hilarious. Any player that sinks further cash into this game, is a sucker. Funny how the same players seem to win all the games by cheating or by the game sabotaging your aircrafts speed, turning ability and accuracy of weapons.

The game is engaging and fun, but resources are very hard to obtain, which reduces the appeal of the game and makes it frustrating.
Work In Progress.
Poor quality but got the main goal of dogfighting. Just images of land with no real trees, willows or vegetation planted when flying or crashed. Best of luck in the future ideas, plane still in one piece too when hit by missiles or cannons! But on fire, which is a good indicator.
Enjoyable Game but with issues
I enjoy this game but find it frustrating that missions don’t update all the time , making it difficult to advance. If this was fixed it would be 5 stars

I love this game but I’m only rating this game 4 stars because it like 2 or 3 maintenance updates in one day and it does not say what the maintenance is. I also wish it is easy to get hanger upgrades but other than that it is the best.

Fun game but devs to greedy, and slap micro transactions on everything.
Fun gameplay, but the game is heavily focused on microtransactions. Free-to-play progress is painfully slow, while spending speeds everything up. Battle passes are £10 each, and unlike Call of Duty, you cannot earn your gold back for completing them. You can also level a plane from 1–8 instantly for £10 (even on a 75% off deal), and a new plane for 50 plane points costs £20. Each plane’s level rewards are earned by playing, but the cosmetics that actually show off your progress must be purchased. For example, if you want the “gold skin” for max-level planes—like COD’s gun skins—you have to spend £10 per plane. With 42 planes, that’s £420 just to display your hard-earned progress. Matchmaking is also unusual: it considers both plane rank and plane level when placing you in a lobby, so it can actually be worth not upgrading a plane until you’ve finished using it just to maximize hanger XP. Weeks of progress can be bought with real money, making free play feel like a grind.

Enjoy this Game
Probably one of the only games I play next to stardew valley. Unlike other cell phone adaptations this one is very real and entertaining. I insure Airshows and other events. I’ll never fly a real one but this is as real as it gets!
A lot of improvements…
First of all, it is REALLY hard to progress reaching a certain point (around the early game). The progression system to unlock new aircrafts is absolute dogsh*t. Second, matchmaking. I understand the need for quick matchmaking, but putting a team beginners against veterans is FAR from balanced. Even Call of Duty’s SBMM is better than whatever Metalstorm has. Third, cheaters. It is crazy the number of cheaters I face in matches and every single time, none glory actually banned. I don’t think the devs even bother to check at reports. Fourth, aggressive monetization. This game is more of a cash grab than a game in itself. Everything is pay to win, with no consideration to free to play players… At this point, even Pixel Gun or a literal casino are less cash grabs than this game.

Game is fun but lack of creativity and make the progress so hard would make your players feel bored or frustrated. I can understand the ultimate goal is to make the players spend more, but it hard progress can make more players to drop the game.

The core gameplay is genuinely fun, but the predatory monetisation completely overshadows everything else. Progression at higher hangar levels is deliberately slowed to the point where it feels designed to frustrate players into spending money rather than rewarding skill or time played. Flight Passes are very expensive and barely help at all once you reach the higher hangars. You can spend a lot of money and still feel stuck, which is incredibly discouraging. What really bothers me is how sneaky and psychological the system is. There is no clear end cost or honest “unlock all” option. If this game openly charged what it actually costs to reach max hangar, most people would never buy it. Instead, progression is stretched out and gated in ways that push players into repeated purchases. That is predatory monetisation. It relies on frustration, sunk cost, and “almost there” progression to make people keep spending their hard-earned money. I understand developers need to make money, but this is completely out of proportion. I have spent less on full console games with DLC than on this mobile game, and still felt pressured to spend more just to progress. MetalStorm could be a great game, but the greed and manipulative monetisation ruin the experience. I cannot recommend it in its current state.
