Wie ein Hype zu nichts wurde
Das Spiel habe ich ganz am Anfang gekauft. Damals war der Hype um virtuelles Land sehr groß, lange vor es dem Metaverse überhaupt gab. Eine sehr kleine Menge Geld habe ich “angelegt” in der Hoffnung es wird etwas aus dieses virtuelle Real Estate. Aber genau wie bei x tausenden NFT Projekte ist auch hier wenig Aussicht auf irgendein Vorteil für Einsteiger. Es ist wirklich ein “Spiel” und keine Anlage. Wer gerne mit viel Geduld an den Events teilnimmt in der Hoffnung aufzusteigen, nur zu, ich fund’s nach 2 Jahre Geduldsprobe die reinste Zeitverschwendung, das einfach als use case auf die EOS Blockchain den Zweck der Blockchain illustriert hat. Die App an sich ist nicht intuitiv und mit jedem Monat weniger nutzbar da zu immer mehr Objekte der Preis “available on the web” sei und so verliert das Spiel in der App gewaltig an Funktion. Ich öffne kein Browser um weiter zu schauen. Eine klare nicht-Empfehlung. Das Metaverse wird Upland ablösen, wenn überhaupt - denn die Spielereien sind grundsätzlich alle eins: massive Zeitschlucker ohne Mehrwert.
Okay but has issues
Been playing this game for a while and have enjoyed it. Was excited to level up to become an uplander. However after trying for 2 days to get my phone verification text message I haven’t recieved a single one. I hope this can get fixed as features are available to uplanders and above only which means you’re stuck for a while.

I’ve had this game almost since it came out. They keep coming out with new ways to Take your money and it is stupidly boring. Oh yeah, let me just pay a real $190 for a fake dump truck in a mobile game real quick. Definitely stay away from this garbage. If you bother reading the most recent 5 star reviews you can tell they are either fake or incentivized. Nobody likes this game unless they enjoy burning their money.
Upland good game but….
Upland is a great game and I play it daily, having already reached Director status. One concern is the app itself that overheats the phone. The devs should look and see how to reduce the processing requirement especially when playing on a mobile device. I use an iPhone 15 pro max.

It seems like it’s only really America that’s in this games system. None of the Canadian addresses I tried worked and zooming in to neighbourhoods they were not in the game

Not a good game, it says that it has converted the whole Earth into a map with prosperities on it. That is a lie. It is impossible to even buy a property outside of North and South America. The world doesn’t revolve around America!

Game use to be fun.
This game use to be fun but it has become such a money grab game for the creators. Everything is basically pay to play. Releases use to be where it’s at, you would be excited for release dates for new cities now all you have to do is pay real money for assets. To keep your earnings you have to learn all their new things they keep adding to the game lots of things you need to pay just to get it checked of the list to keep your earnings each season. If I had advice it would be run while you can and try and cash out if you can but people keep spending their real hard earn cash on this game so it will never change.

You Will Lose Money
First of all, if you deposit money into this game, you will lose money immediately. It’s a total fraud and should be investigated. If you buy their token, UPX, then buy a property or anything else really, you will be lucky to get 50% of your money back if you try and sell. Most people won’t pay you more than 20% of your initial purchase price. Beyond that the game is filled with hackers and scammers, which is not regulated at all by their support staff. I have been in this game for over a couple years and this game was built by hackers having an unfair advantage against common players picking up all of the properties that have any sense of value. If you are new and curious about this game, I am just warning you that there’s no real entertainment within the game and you will lose money. You have been warned.

Very disappointing
Been playing for over 5 years. Spent money bought properties and buildings invested spark and wale up this morning and I can’t loggin. Does not know my username or email account. Over $600 invested and they do this. Too me it’s a scam. Angry and will never play a game like this again. Burn me once!!!!

Le jeu ne se lance pas
Bon voilà , j’ai mis 20$ dans le jeu sur mon pc , mais là j’essaye de le faire tourner avec mon (l’appli) et ça ne se lance juste pas , écran de chargement a l’infini, embêtant quand on sait le temps qu’on doit passer juste pour win quelques upx 🫠

The absolute worst case of pay-to-play games. I wouldn’t call it “a game” honestly. With no clear purposes or game mechanics. it’s just a weird animal, and you have to pay for it. If developers won’t incorporate real game mechanics into this poor thing, nobody will ever be playing it, let alone be spending real money for virtual items.

Je moet dus kavels kopen maar je hebt maar 3000€ en de goedkoopste kavel is 6000€ dus ja je kan niks. Login bonus is iets van 50€ per dag dus je krijgt pas na 2 maanden 6000 als je je login streak niet behoudt. Je kan ook op kavels bieden alleen dat kan pas als je een hoger level hebt maar die krijg je niet omdat je niks kan kopen. En de beschrijving klopt ook voor geen meter. Koop vast goed in jouw buurt. Je kan alleen maar in 2/3 staten van amerika wat kopen. Want de rest van de wereld zit er niet eens in. Dus ja beetje zonde van je tijd.

Literally followed the tutorial to buy my first property for 4k xp, tried multiple times and even exited the app, EVERYTIME I press buy it doesn’t work 🙄 as soon as I buy some other random property for 9k xp owned by someone else for the same size property and everything that’s when it works 😐 why am I paying 6.99 so I can have extra xp so I can buy 2 properties when you guys are purposely glitching the game to make the purchase not go thru and I still end up with 1 overpriced property. Thanks for nothing, another legal scam 👍🏾 aren’t first impressions everything? 🤔 couldn’t you wait till I was a couple properties in!??
