Nighttime messages not coming! 🙁
Please fix this bug! I get an alert notification on my phone at night, but when I go on the app it’s not there and never comes thru my phone. Really need my night messages from God. Please thanks, and appreciate this great app.
Ads
I downloaded app as I was looking a frog ad popped up scared me as it was so loud….then a few seconds later another ad popped up….i promptly deleted this app would not recommend!
I Love This App! However…
I truly wish I could give 5 stars... About a few weeks ago I would have.. This app is so amazing and inspirational. However, recently this app now has ads. Which I totally understand the ads. The majority of apps have ads.. But these ads pop up like every 60 seconds. I could barely even get through 2-3 sentences without an ad popping up. I highly recommend 10/10!!! You definitely have to purchase the app in order to enjoy it moving forward..
Use to be really good.
I’ve had this app for years, but since they have added “ads” it’s pretty annoying. I can barely read the verse and other notes before an obnoxious ad pops up.
I'm torn
Seems like good content but the spammy back-to-back ads don't even allow for reasonable evaluation of this app. The lifetime access cost seems reasonable but I just get angry at the number of ads I get before reading a single passage!
❤️
I love this app. It helps me remind myself to do a daily Bible reading in the morning, to also just relax and be calm and not having to be anxious. I 100% recommend
Ads
This app has way too many ads for me so i have to delete this app for the better.
Share button doesn’t share actual devotional
I was trying to send one of the devotionals, it has a share button but doesn’t send it it just sends a link to download the app.
ADS!
This was a great app until they added in those 5 minute long interactive ads
Love the message but…
Unable to share. The share link only connects you to the store app. Then I tried to copy the article to my notes. This is not allowed, apparently. The only thing left to do in order to “share” is to do a variety of screen captures, and try to piece it together. A lot of trouble for what could be a great app. Disappointed; uninstalled because I can’t actually share it with anyone.
Unable To Access
Again I am unable to click on anything on the homepage. This was fixed for a week or so but now the screen is frozen again. Gees! Such a marvelous app but parts are inaccessible right now. PLEASE FIX!!! I want to learn about and celebrate our Lord with you. Previously: I am unable to click on anything on the homepage. The one time I got it to work there was a wonderful message, but now it’s impossible to click on anything. Please fix. It truly could be a wonderful app.
My first review
I wanted to go a little out of my way here to leave a one star review. This app sends notifications multiple times a day, and most times the notifications don’t make any grammatical sense. It feels like it’s trying today dumb me down. Also, today I opened the app to give it another chance, and saw that developers posted a FAKE SCRIPTURE from “psalms 204” - there are only 150 psalms. Something about prosperity- very worldly. This app did not encourage my faith but made me more away of false prophets and the like. Don’t get this and let’s take down this app that is leading so many astray
GREAT, but i have a suggestion
i’ve been using this app for about two weeks now and it’s helped me to grow closer and closer to God each day! but, i do have one suggestion. this app does a great job of allowing people to pray for others and creates an outlet for people to vent to other followers of Christ. i’m not saying that this is bad at ALL, as this is definitely necessary. but, i think that there should be a section where people can say the wins and successes in their life and praise Him for His blessings. i’ve seen people say stuff like this on here, but it would be so much more refreshing to have a separate place of just praise and positivity!!!
The amount of ads is insane
Can’t even be on the app for a full minute before getting an ad that you’re forced to watch for twice as long. Godly apps should not be prioritizing profits over education. Sad because the content is great but I’m removing the app. Hopefully one day, you’ll prioritize faith over profiting off believers.
Too much ‘other stuff’
JUST WANTED AN APP WITH MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES TO SHARE WITH MY HIGH SCHOOL GRANDCHILDREN….this is NOT that app. And seems even ‘well-intentioned’ Christians have to charge for EVERYTHING. What ever happened to doing something without expecting or wanting to make money at it? Ah…the Laodicean church…
Growing in my faith
I have been using this app for about a month now and I have personally enjoyed every bit of it! It has helped me feel like I am growing in my faith every day! It’s nice to have just the one time payment as well instead of a monthly subscription. Easy to use.
Doesn’t work
App doesn’t even allow copy and paste of text from the notes editor. Not worth the download.
Love daily verses and motivations
What’s wrong with the app? I’ve been using it for a month now and it’s been great and I was trying to start my day with a verse today 01/02/2024 and I don’t see anything.
Ads are insane!
I used to love this and it was 5 stars worthy. I get 2 ads while trying to read a devotion. It’s awful.
Good - not great.
I like the concept of the app, but I was hoping for deeper & intentional daily reminders! Really getting into God’s word, & not saying stuff that those other motivational apps use. &, having to pay for everything is petty.
I look forward to opening notifications from this app!
This app is the most reassuring app I have. It somehow always speaks to exactly what I need and I love the morning and night reminders! It’s an amazing platform to lift each other up in prayer and build hope 🤍
paid for subscription, not getting any pro perks
i liked this app for the daily quotes and motivation, and decided to pay $3.99 for the beautiful wallpapers. after i paid, and tried to download a wallpaper, the paywall popped up again. i’m not paying twice. now it won’t even let me cancel my subscription. fix this please!!!!
I love it but…
I hope they can fix the widget issue. They are completely blank :(
Too many ads!
Way too many adds… I click skip and close out of one, try to start reading my daily verse then before I can even finish a new add pops up, close out of that one and start reading again and within 20 seconds another ad pops up. After several times of this, I’m over it!!! Deleting the app.
Love everything but..
The extra costs to actually enjoy the entire app.
Problem - Help! Great app!
Hi there! I am such a fan of this app! Ever since I have downloaded it a few weeks back I love to check in with it. Today I realized that there is a free trial for the cool added features I’d really wanted to try out! So I immediately signed up for that three day trial. I purchased that through the iTunes Store as normal - my three day trial is set to end on April 29. I don’t know why but I haven’t been allowed to access any additional content yet. Every time I click on any of the starred content it just pops up offering me the subscription service. I click it again and it confirms that I am in fact subscribed with a free trial. I have hit the restore purchase button a few times. Closed the app entirely and opened it back up. Made sure I was logged in correctly and everything else I could think of. Needless to say I am sad I can’t access the content! I’m hopeful we can get it resolved before my three day free trial has ended! Let me know if there’s anything you or I can do to remedy it! Thanks for this amazing app. Truly I love it. Free or not! I tried to contact through the developers website but it won’t allow me to send it - it just gets hung up in an “sending…” state. I love it! Please help me access the other cool features to see if it’s something I’d like to continue paid services for.
Warning: please read before you purchase this app
I thought this was pretty neat until it didn’t ask, but demanded me to give them access my pictures. Yes!!! All my pictures on my phone! And for what? I haven’t even finished the first day nor signed up yet and they want full access to my pictures! Never do I give them out. Be careful ladies! Why would a sweet bible app not ask but demand access to your photos otherwise If you don’t, then you don’t get to join. That sounds fishy to me! No thank you!!
Plz help fix widget issue for iOS 16
Yes, I would love to get this at five stars I’ve had it for over three years or more. I can’t remember I love it it’s amazing but when I download it or upgraded to iOS 16, the widget app to where you can make it big on your home screen does not work it just stays blank. It gives no daily verse nothing and it worked before going into iOS 16, so if you could please fix that because it help me so much I work 12 hours and I can’t always be on my phone but I can turn it over and look in the adverse is always there. It always switches and that’s so encouraging but it’s not working at this moment. Could you please fix it and I will come back in right at five stars as this app has been so much help thank you and God bless
Audio enabled
It would be great if the daily readings were available with human-narrated audio.
Annoyed
This app is great until you realize the “suggested” readings never refreshes . Also if I choose to listen a devotional, the audio never stops; I have to close out the app to do so. Very annoying
Great app for Christians
The Daily app is a great app for Christians. For me it helps spend time with God but I think the whole app should be free. That is it great app overall😌🤍🤞🏽
Can’t remove of my phone
Not happy… can’t delete… can only remove from screen
Excellent!
I absolutely love this App. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I am unable to listen to the devotionals. Every time I try they just won’t turn off at the end. No matter what I’ve tried nothing works. The only way for me to turn them off is to delete the App and reinstall. Other than that this is the best App ever.
Widget
I downloaded this app specifically for the widget option. And it didn’t work. Would save anything I created nor would it even allow me to use it as a widget as is (pre done version no edits). I ended up just taking it off
They just want you to buy something not help
Ehh disappointed that you had to pay for it
Love this app but there is one issue
Devotionals won’t play for me I even close out the app and it still won’t work
Just Use The Internet
You’re already paying for the web so just use it. You can skip the unstoppable auto playing music and the in app purchases.
Wonderful but incessant
Love everything about this app - the prayers, motivational quotes, and devotionals - except the constant notifications. I am the type of person who likes their phone notification-free if at all possible. So though I enjoy a few reminders throughout the day, this app bombards me with multiple every hour. If they introduced a way to change the frequency of notifications, it would easily be five stars!!
Widget
Widget only shows gray, no verse or quote.
Its not what I hoped
I was hoping for positive quotes that are bible based. I already have a bible app for the verse of the day so I don't need that. I gave it three stars because most of the quotes I've seen aren’t really biblical. There more feel good messages which every other “positive thought” app has. Really bummed with this one.
iOS 14
Such a great app but can’t it made available for IOS 13 again. I pay for the pro version and I can’t access it because the version of the app please make available again in iOS 13 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Good app
As for me the app is great. Nothing add, nothing take away...
Too much going on in the app
Overwhelming, will choose a different app
Please allow save options
Really enjoy this app but it bothers me that I can’t save the suggested articles.
I love this app!
I love this app it is a great tool to stay connected and a picker upper in times of sadness. Only recently I have been experiencing problem where I click to open the app it loads and then closes soon after, even after deleting and reinstalling it still occurs. Makers please help! I love this app.
Context
I feel this app uses verses to fit their daily devotional, rather than teaching what the scripture actually says. They seem to pick a random verse to fit what they need to say, even if it’s out of context.
I like this app butt..
Please proof read before posting. It’s difficult to truly feel like the message is meaningful or meant to be if it’s it’s grammatically incorrect.
