Yass loves Gymrats
This app is really amazing. I mean that with no glaze. My friend Nick who is a 4th company representative really loves this app to death, and I don’t know where I would be without him and his love for this app. Go Gymrats🤙

Great app, one feature suggestion
My best friend and I have been using this for over a year to track our workouts, stay on top of each other, we’ve also had a running back with each other to make sure we stay accountable. It’s an incredible, has great functionality, is easy to use, and simple. ONE SUGGESTION -please add a feature to edit the date of a workout so that you don’t have to delete the workout and post it again if you put in the wrong date or post after 12 AM that night and accounts for the wrong guy.

Ótimo
Poor support
Apple health is turned on in settings as per their not though helpful help guides, yet my workouts will not auto sync. The issue is GymRats as the workouts show as options to import from device when I manually as a check in. I can’t contact their support as they only offer Messenger or Instagram. Apparently in 2026 email is dead and we all need to haul Zuckerberg.
No step count integration
Our company recently used this for a step challenge. Everyone loved it but the biggest drawback was that step count didn’t automatically import via Apple Health or Fitbit. They had to be manually keyed in. Please develop this feature and it would be perfect!

I like GymRats but it needs this:::
I’m an avid user of GymRats, and as I use my Apple watch linked to my exercises, GymRats really needs to put a feature that when a change a photo from one workout it changes in ALL OF MY GROUPS. It’s extremely frustrating having to change every single photo from each group manually every single day. Please update this!!!!
Best workout app
I have used several workout apps for challenges with friends. This is the best by far—for challenges and variety of challenges, teams, groups, posting of pics, and msgs between our group members. Gymrats allows privacy for just your group, not requiring it to be open to all. I purchased GymRats Pro for additional features and very happy with price and features. Recommend this app
Extremely disappointed
This app only tracks your workout if you manually open it, which is ridiculous for something that’s supposed to run automatically. I was in a 30-day challenge with money on the line, and I was winning the entire time. On the very last day, I forgot to open the app, even though I DID the workout and surprise: it wasn’t counted. I “lost” the challenge and lost actual money, despite having completed everything. This isn’t just frustrating, it’s unfair. An app that costs money and promotes challenges should not punish users for something so small, especially when there’s proof the workout was done. If you’re joining challenges, be warned: one forgotten tap can cost you the win. Do better.
best accountability app for fitness!
loveeee the features of this app, especially being able to chat. PLEASE LET US REACT / REPLY TO CHAT MESSAGES! editing feature would be awesome too!

Garbage Update (March 2024)
The app was updated and literally downgraded. Step challenges are now completely useless without having multiple additional steps just to track them appropriately. Some auto generated things like activity titles were removed. We used the app to have both activity and steps challenges. It use to be one of the few apps capable of doing both and they eliminated the one unique feature to other apps that just do steps or just activities. Disappointing. We will be finding a new challenge platform after this month.
Meu parceiro de bons hábitos
Maravilhoso, para registrar as minhas conquistas.
Unusable app
I spent an hour trying to create a profile and log into the app. Couldn’t get it done. I put in my name and email address. It loaded a password for me that I went in and had to try and change. I successfully set a password, but the app would not allow me to view any data. Create any profile particulars or find any groups that I wanted to join. I’m done with this mental exercise.
Bug
Love the app but the latest update it’s crashing all the time 😭
Annoying to use
When selecting a date and time for a check-in, I need to set the time twice, and the time selector collides with the built-in iOS function that moves the content of the screen up and down, so it keeps closing on me. Also, instead of a check-out time, I need to calculate for how long my training was and enter it in hours and minutes. It’s really tiresome.
Picture required? Can’t tie
It looks like in order to log your activity, you are required to post a picture which I don’t like. Also, my husband and I are tied in activities but it says he is second? Do you have a way to show ties?
Great Accountability App with Tons of Potential
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for and I have enjoyed using the GymRats app. I think it has so much potential! One of the best features is the check-in system, which makes it easy to keep your group accountable. It’s also a great way to stay connected with friends and coworkers who can’t physically work out with you but still want to stay on track together. Syncing workouts from your Apple health is super easy and the photo upload feature really ties everything together. That said, I do think the app could benefit from a few improvements. First, the name is a bit cringey and doesn’t fully reflect what the app offers—I probably would have found it sooner if it had a name that better conveyed its purpose. As for features, I’d love to see: •Expanded chat capabilities, similar to Discord or Slack, where users can react to posts and create threads/ pin posts. •Personal weight loss goals and weight loss focused competitions to keep users motivated. •Nutrition or meal post features to complement fitness progress. •Profile upgrades, including fitness goals, a bio section, highlights, and photos to personalize the experience. •A streak system to encourage consistency and reward regular check-ins. •The ability to share the leaderboard on socials would also be a great option. Overall, GymRats is a fantastic tool for accountability, and I’m excited to see how it evolves! Looking forward to future updates.
Horrible Update
The most recent update made it so you can’t backlog your workouts, only log a workout the day of. Sometimes we forget to log yesterday’s workout and want to get credit for it, but now we can’t do that. I’ve enjoyed this app up until now. My friends and I will not be using this app going forward until this issue is fixed.
Love the idea
Totally love the app, me and my friends have been using it everyday for a while now! I just wish we could add like a “like” button when someone posts a workout, to support our friends, or a like a 💪🏻💪🏻 button u know? That’d be pretty sick and its what we feel its missing!
Falhas
Sistema não faz o upload fácil, vive dando erro …
Miles
I would like to control start and stop miles walk/run. Not just the over all. Otherwise nice App. Thanks
Super cool!
The staff of GymRats is super nice too! Congratulations for the good work, guys!
SSL error prevents app from launching.
The app has an error that prevents a secure connection to the server, rendering it unusable. There is no one available or contact point to help either.
Great app for team challenges
Works great Would be nice if you could add a feature to log workouts in km instead of miles please!
Amazing app but horrible bugs
It doesn’t let me open with data, only Wi-Fi, and everything I try opening it it gives me an error
The Walking Challenge
Company is dining a walking challenge! But what I love about it is we have a space to cheer each other along.
Fixes needed!
Well after one month of using it, it’s a nice idea but badly needs an update to fix all the bugs and issues.
Good app
The app is great. But after the update, I cannot import my workout from the health app. It says import today step count and I cannot make any changes. Please help. I wish if I can upload the screenshot.
Challenges are nice, but import is lacking
Trying to import workouts from Apple Health, but the date is a non-editable field. If you’re going to have multi-day challenges, they should be based on how much physical activity participants undertake (which is supposed to be the point, right?) not on how many participants happened to remember to import their steps by 11:59 pm on any given day
Great app with no fuss
Easy to set up and easy to create challenges with a group. Having everyone check in with a photo has kept people engaged and active on the app.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Apple sync
Sync with Apple Watch it seems like I have to import each workout instead of it doing it by itself?
Need more integration options
I’d give it 5 stars if it integrated & synced with Fitbit.
Disciplina = resultado
O sistema de competição gera uma energia positiva na busca de performance individual e coletiva. É um UP adicional para alcançar objetivos saudáveis e espantar o sedentarismo!
Does Not Give Option To Sign In
I created an account on my Android and when I went to sign in on my iPod it only gave the option to create an account. I would like to sign into the account I created not create a new account. Please help in this matter
Scrolling issue?
Has anybody else had issues when trying to join a challenge and you cannot scroll down far enough on the overview of the challenge to actually join? Otherwise a great app, but I have people in my challenge that are unable to join.
Love the app BUT
Need to make a feature where the user can respond to certain messages or like messages within the group chat.
Bogus app
I was excited when I was looking into fitness competition apps and found this one. Once I signed in then nothing but a calendar. No where to add specific workouts for the challenge. No where to create a point system amongst friends to score the competition. Just a basic somewhat useless app. Their friends must have given this 5 stars because it’s definitely nowhere close to being that. Don’t bother.
Great app
It would be amazing if we could upload videos.
