TERRIBLE
THIS IS WHY PEOPLE HAVE TO CALL THE PHARMACY BECAUSE THEIR APP MAKES EVERYTHING EITHER IMPOSSIBLE OR TEN TIMES HARDER THE CALLING THE DMN PHARMACY.
RX list order
I enjoy the ease of use with the app but I’d like to see that prescriptions with refills be listed at the top. And a way to clear the list of old prescriptions.

Get message unexpected error. Looks like a great app if it only worked.
Very Limited App
I transferred to Giant from Safeway. The Safeway pharmacy is part of their main app, and although it isn’t perfect, it has a lot more capabilities than the Giant Rx app. There’s no way to manage notifications: no way to select text, email or push or choose those instead of annoying phone calls. I also can’t delete expired prescriptions.
First time user
Loved the app so easy to maneuver, thanks
App won’t allow adding patient
Without an Rx number this app does not allow adding a patient. We have used Giant for vaccines only. We do not have Rx number so cannot use the app to see our vaccine history.
Suggestions for improvement
It would be really helpful if we could pre-pay for prescriptions on the app like Walgreens does
Vax Record
Very easy to set up, but unable to add myself as a patient in order to review vaccination record without a Rx number. Doesn’t make sense (since no Rx was required for the vaccines). Disappointing from a convenience standpoint. Guess I’ll have to see if my local store pharmacy can be of assistance (even though I now live in a different section of the city from where the shots were originally administered).
Manage Prescription?
This review is for the app- the pharmacy is great. The app is frustrating since there is no way to actually manage your scripts. Years ago I could remove medication I was taken off. I could put it on auto refill and remove auto refill if I had too much on hand. NOW. Now I can’t do either.

Doesn’t work
For the past year this app has not worked for me. I have been unable to log in, I have tried to reset my password but I never receive the email to reset it. I have even called to talk to customer service and that didn’t work. I was able to manually enter my prescription to have it filled and that has since stopped working.

Needs to be updated
The app does not tell you if they received a prescription. I can not speak to a person on the phone. I have to physically go into the store to speak to someone. Very confusing. Another app I used for a different pharmacy would tell you if it was pending at least and received.

Verification call does not work
I receive a phone call for verification, but no verification code is provided. Also, people with hearing impairments may not be able to use the app because the only verification option is through a phone call. More verification options should be provided to make the app accessible to everyone.

What happened to the history tab?
This app has been essential in helping us keep track of all of my family’s various prescriptions. Some are recurring and ordering refills from the app is a wonderful. But this summer the history tab was broken. Row after row of “not enrolled” greets me now. I used to be able to see when we last filled certain meds etc. will go back to five star review when it is restored. Thx.

Pharmacy app frustrating
App allows you to refill but when you get to counter they have info saying otherwise ie need to wait for insurance, need refill etc. Information in app should reflect what pharmacists have! Incredibly frustrating!

Login issues
The app used to work pretty well until about a year or so ago when they made some changes to the login process and did away with the sign in and tried to replace it with a pin or something. I have yet to be able to log into my account since then, despite trying so many times and it’s really frustrating and annoying. Reset password, etc always get an error.

Long Neck Pharmacy
It is terrible how long it takes to get a prescription here. I’ve had to come here since Rite Aid closed and it’s been so frustrating I’m sitting here waiting for a RX that was sent by my doc this morning. I’ve been waiting a good 1.5hrs and was told it would prob be another 15-30 mins. If I can believe that! Unfortunately I NEED the medicine or I’d just leave. It just keeps getting worse instead of better. Im going to wind up on BP meds at this rate. We need another pharmacy in Long Neck. (Walgreens was even worse in the past). It’s such a shame that Sussex pharmacy closed

Scanning the RX number was fast, easy and pick up time very doable! Great going Giant Pharmacy!
Inconsistent
This app requires you to set up a new password every time you access it and is down a LOT. Very disappointing for an otherwise good pharmacy. This inability to manage scrips from my own devices requires calling in to the pharmacy every time.

Could be better
This app could be more reliable and there are better features they could add. First of all, the screenshots in the App Store don’t resemble the actual app styling, particularly the pharmacy list. Sometimes you can’t log in or get errors like broken html spat back at you. I’ve had prescriptions get stuck in limbo. They aren’t In Process or for pickup and I can’t submit another refill request because I already submitted one. The pharmacy desk has to re-submit it to be filled. As a user, I’d like notifications when my prescriptions are ready. It would also be great to be able to edit my personal information like phone number, address, notification preferences, etc. which currently also needs to be done at the desk. Within the past months, they did something to the sign-in process. (No more username but a pin or email address.) The pin broke for me and no longer works. Signing in with the email is clunky and needs to be done every time you close the app. (Patient privacy- I get it.) My refill feed is clogged with old prescriptions with 0 refills. (I really don’t need to refill the prescription mouthwash from my dental surgery.) The interface needs to give more power to its users. Update: I submitted a complaint to Giant to fix their app and they shoved it back onto the pharmacy to “appease” me. Now I get called whenever my prescriptions are done which I specifically disabled. So that’s cute. Update 2: I’ve had it with this app and Giant Pharmacy in general. I’m switching all my prescriptions out of giant. Fix your system!
Transferred from another Rx
For years I had my prescriptions sent to another Rx but there was always a long wait, prescriptions piled around,and changing employees. Giant seems so organized. Hardly any wait and helpful.
Wish it notified when ready
It would be nice if the app would let you know when your prescription is ready or when you get a text message from the pharmacy that it included whose prescription is ready to be picked up
