Story Swag - Quick Reels reviews
4.8 out of 5, based on 6,774 reviews.
What people like
- Very easy to learn and use quickly.
- Motion graphics look professional and unique.
- Great for making quick social media marketing content.
What they complain about
- Monthly fee feels too expensive for what you get.
- App crashes and fails to export your videos.
- Music selection is limited and often cuts off early.
Love this app
Can't recommend the features it comes with enough!
There are so many random glitches
Just updated the app and have a ton of problems
Very cool
This is a great supplement for word swag. I love the templates and fonts to choose from.
Needs longer videos for reels
This app would easily be 5 stars if you could create longer videos. For example, reels on Instagram can be 90 seconds long - It’s clunky to make multiple 15 second videos and stick them together.
Música incompleta
La música está incompleta para todo el vídeo… la música es muy corta… debería durar lo que dura el vídeo
Amazing
Thank you very much
Only has 4 fonts!
I downloaded this trial because I love the variety of fonts in word swag. This one only lets you cycle through 4! And you can’t remove the background highlight. The transitions are cartoonish and distracting. Do not recommend if you just want to have nice fonts for reels.
great for quick stories
This is why there’s no need for a marketer when you have great apps like these. I only wish i could use a voice over instead of the limited music they have .
Nothing is really free
I have been using word sway for 6 years. The new program does not allow for a simple ,free, way to share.
Won’t Export
This is a super cool app and I’ve had no problems posting a 1 picture slide but when it comes to exporting a slideshow with multiple pictures, it won’t export. It just goes blank and then the app shuts itself down. Frustrating because I took a lot of time creating everything and now I can’t post it.
Easy peasy!
I live using story swag for my shop. It’s so quick and user friendly!
Active bug
Active bug
Thanks
I love story swag but it can get a bit glitchy to edit ... gets stuck or jumps around and takes long time to get it done with those bit of touchy tedious things
Monthly subscription
Good app hobbled by a monthly fee instead of a buy out - so it’s $55/ year !! Insane!
Good app......
Love the options but when I got pro, I expected more than just a removal of the watermark. There’s just not enough variety of options to sustain that monthly fee. Sorry, it’s a miss for me.
Great
Love this app! So much fun
Why are videos only 8 or 9 seconds
I used a video that’s was 15 seconds
First time user
I really like this App. Easy, breezy.💖
Why i cannot pay?
I try to pay , or try the free trial, but I cannot because I cannot choose the country. Do I have to be from the US?
Good App but not worth high cost
I have used the Word Swag app for several years and was excited to see that Story Swag was available. My excitement didn’t las long because I discovered the paid version was a monthly subscription instead of a one time purchase. While there is a select number of free options I don’t feel there is enough variety for my needs and I would prefer to not have the Story Swag logo on my pictures. If the option to make a onetime purchase for the current “subscription” options along with removal of the Story Swag logo on pictures is included I would gladly purchase, otherwise I will just continue to use my full version of Word Swag.
I love this app
This app allows me to create short prayers for my business ( Women Walking With Purpose). I post them on my business Instagram page. I’ve received so many compliments on the videos. I absolutely love this app!!!!
App is no longer working properly
I am having so many issues with your app that I have never had before across multiple devices. We use your app for water marks on our business posts but the app keeps shutting down and glitching. Please fix or we will be canceling our subscription.
Easy to use
Easy to use but needs more music choices.
Tutorial slides
I am not tech savvy. Would love a few slides to preview options. How to navigate and add options.
I want to love it....but
I want to love the app, but it won’t save my projects. Keeps shutting down.
Love Styles
Love the styles. Wish it had a horizontal layout for YouTube. Wish it would let one change layouts on same content without need to recreate. But the interesting styles still make it appealing.
Can’t Export
I’ve been trying to export my video for the last 30 mins and I keep getting “Error Exporting, There was an export error. Please try again”. Exporting process never gets past 79%. I will be canceling. Sorry but it’s not worth the headache.
Great app
I love the app because I use it for marketing. I just wish there were more style options. I use it at least once a day and it gets kinda old using the style options over and over. Otherwise great!
Not worth subscription
This app is not worth subscribing to at all. There aren’t enough design and music options to choose from. They keep promising more options, but the roll out is slow and not worth waiting for. You’re better off using free apps and editing software to get the same results with a tiny bit more effort.
Such fun
This is such a great app for those of us that enjoy creating fun stories with our photos. Thank you Story Swag🌟
Saving
It only allows you 8 pictures for video!
More music options please.
Yup.
No bundle?
It’s a shame that there’s no bundle option with Word Swag. I already pay for the Pro version of that app, so I don’t want to pay for the Pro version of this one too. If there was a discounted rate for both apps combined I’d be all over it - or better yet, just add the Word Swag features to this one! That way you could enjoy themed story and grid posts without having to recreate everything from scratch in another app.
I LOVE this app! (One request)
This the greatest. The motion graphics are unique and much more professional than anything that iMovie or it’s contemporaries can spurt out. One request: could there PLEASE be an update where dimensions other than square and IG story can be used? I would love a landscape orientation.
Not working iPhone 12 Pro Max
Why?!? So many bug!
Great not Excellent
I think it does what it does very very well. I created a very nice video for my facebook broadcast. I decided to pay the subscription for the next month after only 7-day free trial ended to see if it is worth it to subscribe so only gave. 3.5 if I could so gave 4 because if the following were not an issue for me—Would give a 5 but 1) not enough music selections. Would prefer some relaxation music to go with my videos. 2) not crazy about this subscription price. 3) it crashes from time to time. 4) Would be nice if there was a month trial. You can’t figure out in 7 days if it’s something to keep. I am forced to subscribe just so I can get comfortable with the app. This is my honest feed back. Hopefully you can fix the above. But I do love the app.
Great app, bad payment scheme
This all has so much potential and I can see it taking traction. However it is absurd to expect us to pay per month for a simple app... We pay less than that for Microsoft Office!! I would highly suggest that the pro version becomes a one-time-payment of say $9.99 or $14.99, that way everyone can enjoy it forever... future added effects or preset packages can be sold again for $0.99 or what not but to expect us to pay 7$ a month for simply getting rid of the logo and using some other fonts is quite overconfident... good luck because I trust this developer's quality standards...

Doesn’t Export
Took me 25 mins to download a single clip, even after it still didn’t download... just stayed at 98% for 25 mins until I clicked off.
Help
I love this app but I can’t hear the music at all ?:(
AMAZING!!
This app has so many options. So easy to learn! I would recommend it to anyone who want to take their pictures and create magic with them!
Not working
Please look it up , it’s not exporting
App is good for beginners like me
App could be improved, should be easy to personalize a logo and needs proper music to add. But makes cute pictures.
