App could have been better as transaction’s do not show up immediately rather it happens later. But the banking experience is excessively good.

Functionality and User Friendliness can improve
The app is not very user friendly. For example- if I have to make a payment towards HSBC cards, I have to make a note of the payment amount, go to the move money page, choose the card and enter the amount manually. Instead they could just give this option in the manage card section where you have option to choose full payment, part payment etc. these changes will not take much time.

3.72.0 version is bad
After the most recent update to 3.72.0 the app uses Face ID to log in but fails to load accounts, with the message SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE NOW. Bad update

The HSBC app is most basic one in the market it does basic things then don’t have imps facility neither RTGS Only NEFT that too takes its sweet time they need to invest more in the mobile app look at the Kotak and HDFC mobile app for that matter SBI mobile app has much more features than HSBC, I can understand that you operate on few location and has limited consumers and has a targeting level but that doesn’t give you right to create such a basic app

Like many other customers I am also facing issues with HSBC India app. Every time you login you get a message service unavailable. App is all updated and latest bug issues fixed as per the message. It has been 10 days already like this
Needs Major Makeover
The app is still very basic for Credit Card info display. On ios version, there is no way to view card details, payment info tracking difficult, whether dues are paid or not not shown, rewards desc to be separate. Payments are reflected very late. App interface need to be upgraded

Thanks HSBC for a great change. At HSBC realised and moved on with the time. New app really user friendly. One star less due to not able to add a new beneficiary. Looking forward to use more oftenly.

This app needs a minor modification
Once we do profile —> logoff, it should bring up “You have been logged off” screen. Instead it’s loading login page. I’m using iPhone 6s Plus. My finger print authorisation is loading again and logging in back.

UPI interface is not working with this error popping. Notified customer services via the app but still no solution. The app is still lagging behind other overseas HSBC app features. It says”The operation couldn’t be completed(move money component.MMETypeErrorType13”
Long way to go .
Step in right direction. However app is still a beta version and has long way to go to compete with other banks in market. Basic feature of payee management, digital secure key, bill payments, card management features are missing. Also accounts main page should show useable balance instead of ledger balance.

Something as simple as money transfer has glitches - tried 3 transfers since last 6 hours and nothing is moving . Even normal NRFT and RTGS do not go smoothly - no money getting transferred - I need to urgently transfer money from my account to another bank
