Prima app
Ik weet niet waar iedereen het over heeft dat het niet zou werken met de Apple Watch. Bij mij werkt het prima als ik mijn telefoon ben vergeten (ja dat kan gewoon) en heb genoeg aam de Apple Watch alleen.
Zeer slecht systeem
De app gooit je er steeds weer uit waardoor je constant opnieuw geactiveerd moet worden. De app onthoud je dus niet. Sta je constant voor een dichte deur. Het had een mooi systeem kunnen zijn maar het gaat weer kapot op de software. Hoe dom kun je zijn.
Good, but has bugs
Good app, but the home screen widget does not show up properly. It is just plain white with a grey square and rectangle, please fix this.
Langsam schlechter Apple Watch Support
Die App reagiert etwas langsam. Was aber viel störender ist das ohne ersichtlichen Grund die Apple Watch eine Meldung bringt das man sich auf dem Iphone anmelden soll. Wenn man ohne das Smartphone vor der Tür steht, nur mit der Apple Watch ist das ein ganz großes Problem. Übrigens, auf dem Telefon ist man trotz dieser Meldung sauber angemeldet. Hier ist noch potential nach oben.
Slechte update.
Heb de smart lock nu een dik half jaar. Was zeer tevreden. Na de laatste update en firmware werkt auto entry bij mij niet meer als ik van buiten de 200m kom. Dat was juist de reden waarom ik deze slot heb gekocht. Graag een oplossing/ update hiervoor. Heb al van alles geprobeerd. App opnieuw geïnstalleerd en mobiel opnieuw opstarten etc. Alles zonder resultaat. Dat is ook de reden van3 sterren.
Heel handig
Werkt prima, kleine schoonheidsfoutjes in de UX maar die verdwijnen gaandeweg steeds meer.
Zoek verder naar alternatief, buitengesloten
Als je toevallig geen verbinding met internet hebt kun je het slot niet bedienen! Hij zou lokaal met Bluetooth moeten werken maar weigert dienst. Dit is onacceptabel. Je kan gewoon je huis niet in als je telefoon geen verbinding kan maken met internet. Gebruikersvriendelijk is de app niet. Alleen bediening via deze app of veel te dure sleutelhangers en beroerd werkende internet kastje. Allemaal verplichte gegevens invullen, waarbij gezegd wordt dat er geen gegevens benodigd zijn; nog maar te zwijgen van de vele connectie problemen. Een normale handleiding is slecht voor handen. Een tijdelijke sleutel overdragen is een opgave van ongekende grootte, de persoon wie je deze toebedeelt moet al zijn gegevens met Bold delen, al is het maar voor 1 keer. Ik hoop dat ik het slot kan doorverkopen want snap totaal niet dat mensen hier positief over zijn. Wat is dit een puinhoop. Misleidende reclame dat je zonder iPhone en alleen met Watch de deur uit kan, werkt gewoon niet, telkens foutmeldingen en dat de app verbonden moet zijn met iPhone en of uitgelogd is. Zo veilig dat je je eigen huis niet in kunt en voor veel geld een slotenmaker kan laten komen.
Zeer fijn, echt sleutelloos
Nu een paar weken in gebruik en moet zeggen erg tevreden. Enige puntje is dat app toegang tot locatie veranderd naar “bij gebruik van app” in plaats van “Altijd” 1 keer gebeurd weet nog niet waarom.
Alle 2-4 Wochen neu anmelden
Verstehe nicht warum man sich alle paar Wochen in der App immer neu anmelden muss. Das nervt nur noch. Sonst wäre die App echt ok
Aanpassingen na update
Na de update is de beginpagina in negatieve zin aangepast, waarom? Layout is lelijker geworden. Voorheen full screen foto en nu een klein rondje. En waarom reclame toevoegen aan de app?

For the last five maybe ten years I’ve wanted a smart front door lock where I could give people access temporarily but a lock that you’re not replacing the battery every few weeks. This is the one! Great device with super easy setup(actually too easy I kept thinking is that it!). The beta software needs work but hay it’s beta. Loving it.

Onbetrouwbaar op Apple Watch
Op de iphone werkt het allemaal top en ben ik er enorm blij mee. Maar na een rondje rennen met mijn Apple watch stond ik buiten met een melding: Please make sure you’re logged in on your iPhone. Ben gewoon ingelogd…

The worst product I’ve used for the past 5 years
We use Bold at work, and I can confidently say it’s the worst product I’ve used in the past five years. The physical device is extremely inconvenient — they ignored the door handle, which was designed to make opening doors easy, and instead “invented” a metal cylinder (good luck opening it when one of your hands is occupied or your hands are slippery). The app is unreliable too — sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Bold could easily end up in UX textbooks as an example of what not to do.
Needs Apple Watch app
The lock is awesome, some time it glitches when bold connect control is activated but other than that it’s absolutely fine. Really wish it would work with Apple Watch tho I’d give it 5 stars too then also the connect bundle should come with all sizes not just the sx-33
Apple watch werkt niet
Ik krijg een foutmelding bij het openen van de applewatch app. Daardoor kan ik de deur alleen maar openen met de iphone app. Dit is vervelend omdat ik de app vaak moet opstarten vanuit mijn phone omdat the geo en bleutooth niet snel genoeg herkend dat ik voor de deur staat. Ik heb een iphone 12 en een applewatch 7
Good, but room for improvement
The lock works well, once you manage to jump through some hoops; if the font size is set too large, a user you want to add cannot see the button at the bottom of the screen. Also, the bold connect seems to be only usable by the administrator of the lock. It would be nice if the admin could add others that can also open the lock using bold connect. Finally the documentation isn’t very clear, so some added help functions in the app would be handy.

I love my bold lock, I would like more options eg speed of unlocking. A watch app is needed . I want a bold complication on my watch so I don’t need to hook out my phone
Achtergrond activiteit
Widgets gebruiken nu ook 10% van je batterij als de app actief blijft heel vreemd dit. Zodra je de widgets weg haalt gebruikt de app geen stroom meer hoezo is dit??? App blijft actief op de achtergrond en gebruikt batterij. Ook al is de auto activatie uitgeschakeld en locatie services. Meerdere malen aangegeven wordt niks mee gedaan. Gebeurt alleen als je in huis bent.
Laatste firmware updates
Na de laatste firmware updates, werkt het automatisch “openen” niet meer goed. Met meerdere iPhone types getest. Allemaal op de laatste iOS versie. Hopelijk is dit gefixt of wordt dit gefixt want ik kon geen changelog vinden van de allerlaatste app update. Verzoek: zorg dat je de slot activatie kan wissen, zowel instelbaar na X tijd en handmatig. Waarom een activatie geschiedenis eindeloos bewaren… ?
Amazing
Brilliant product and app. Can’t imagine going back to a traditional key. App works well enough. Bluetooth fobs have been excellent too. App has its moments, now and again, but nothing a quick restart doesn’t sort.
Waardeloos product en app
Auto lock werkt bijna nooit. Pin activatie werkt ook niet altijd. Daarnaast had mijn Connect kennelijk maanden lang geen verbinding met mijn wifi netwerk. Heb hier nooit een melding over gehad of is dat nooit opgevallen. Zonde van mijn geld en moeite.

Leider noch viele kleine Mankos
Das Schloss, die Idee dahinter und die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Leider gibt es jedoch noch kleine sehr nervige Mankos, der Umkreis für die Auto unlook lässt sich leider nicht individuell einstellen, wenn man zum Beispiel mit dem Hund kurz um die 4 Ecken möchte langt die Entfernung nicht um eine Aktivierungen. Der Bluetoothempfang ist sehr auch schlecht, man muss den clicker sowie das Handy ganz nah ans Schloss halten, es langt nicht das dass Handy in der Hosentasche ist. Bis eine Verbindung aufgebaut ist vergeht auch eine Weile, was sehr nervig ist.

Great solution.
I like the simplicity of the solution. Applewatch and widgets are supported. Great! Some features I still would like to see are: homekit support, complications on applewatch, shortcuts on applewatch.
Awful
We use it for a year now and it constantly deletes accounts and kicks someone out for no reason. It’s a dreadful solution. Please spare yourself a headache and keep on looking.
Better than the early versions
The app has come along leaps and bounds. however like previous reviews I would like to see an Apple Watch app.

Great lock but not well known - Need watch app!
This lock is really well made and so much better than many decent branded items. It works very well (1 year now) and looks and feels high quality. Just let down by slightly poor app and no Apple Watch option as has both been mentioned before. Really odd Bold don’t address this as their product is exceptional and they could sell a load more!
Apple Watch support please!!
With an Apple Watch widget support app it would blow out the competition. Not having to get your phone out of your pocket would be amazing en just use a widget on the Apple Watch. Please make more smart :)
Visual cue whether locked is a MUST
I cannot believe this essential feature is missing from the app. The whole UX needs reviewing - it is a bit of a worry not knowing if you managed to lock the front door if you’re going away! Please fix this. Also the history bit should be more verbose and useful - ‘Activation’ does not give us any indication as to whether the lock was opened or closed. It’s worrying that the issue was pointed out by another customer some 3 years ago and there’s not been any fix. Please can the developers comment here if it’s an unfixable issue? If yes, Bold shouldn’t sell this product.
Great lock
Great lock and very easy to install, auto activation ( beta) gets better with each update but does not always work. The 200 mtr radius should be adjustable so the user can decide what radius they want. Keep up the good work

Good but room for improvement
Works well & recent update looks nice. However there are a few things from a point of view of security that are notable by their absence. For example it would be useful to be able to see if a door is locked or unlocked in the app. The point of a remote automatic system is lost if the user has to remember the exact sequence of locking & unlocking. Integration with Alexa or would be good. If Alexa can the interrogate the status using a routine the user can then be notified if doors are unlocked. Also if you leave the house geo-fence and you have left the doors unlocked your device can notify you.

Sinds een maand twee sloten gemonteerd. Eenvoudig om zelf te doen. Werkt prima. Alleen pincode werkt niet goed. Het zou goed zijn om nu eindelijk eens te komen met een IP 65 product voor de tuinpoort. Verder een app op de smartwatch zou handig zijn. Succes 😉
Does not auto unlock
Randomly the door lock does not Auto Unlock as I approach the door anymore. The settings are set to the correct settings. The app crashed on me 3 times and was stuck outside. Couldn’t use the manual lock as it’s quite complicated to use

Ondanks herhaaldelijke beloftes van Bold, is er nog steeds geen app voor de Apple Watch. De notificatie optie op de Apple Watch is geen serieus alternatief omdat je hiervoor nog steeds een iPhone (in de buurt) nodig hebt. Het ontbreken van deze Apple Watch app - waarmee je het slot ook met alleen de Apple Watch zonder iPhone kan openen - maakt dit Bold slot inmiddels onaantrekkelijk! Er zijn betere alternatieven.
Good lock
Not a bad smart lock. Very easy to install and simple to operate. Three stars for now as auto activation is a bit hit and miss. But most importantly, it needs apple watch support. Please implement it, Bold. 5 stars if/when you do.
Brilliant, clean and simple
Great app, works very well. It would be great if there was an Apple Watch extension however to save getting the phone out to unlock door.
Going to have to uninstall this lock
The implementation of this app is terrible. If it cannot reach the server for a verified device it refuses to unlock. This really needs addressing as it’s quite dangerous. I understand the need to communicate with a server for notifications etc but the simple act of unlocking should be done locally.
Works as it should be needs more features
The app works as it should and does it well and fast but it could be so much better I would like to see Apple Watch app and shortcuts and also even a widget would be great then it will be 5stars great lock so far but could be so much better with the added features and hopefully in the future it can connect to Alexa and google home ect
Need to wake phone to unlock house
Still having issues which prevent the door from unlocking until I’ve woken my phone up. Which isn’t very convenient
No Apple Watch app!
Works great on phones. But I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it’s way too big to take with me when I go for a run. When is the Apple Watch app coming? You get only 3 stars because of this.
