Don't waste your time or money on this game
Fun game
This game has a lot to offer. If you create a name that others find offensive you get straight up banned and takes forever to contact someone to name change. If players report because they find a name offensive, then you should get prompted to change it on next log in. Not get straight up shunned after they have bought a membership to the game. A great game spoiled by the dev and the staff
A wonderful game with top class pixel art. The artists are masters of their craft. If you enjoy pixel art, then please explore this game. It’s simply beautiful. This game has been around for a while and has unfortunately failed to take off properly. Fairly recent p2w implementations have dampened the spirit of the game. Curse of Aros is now a shell of its original self. The dev is lazy, rude and obnoxious. The updates are few and far between. It’s a real shame. The worst thing about the game is the staff. The support is appalling. The dev doesn’t care either. For a game that is based on community, the main guy Skill ruins it all. I’d avoid this game. Five years ago, this was a five star game. Now, it’s no longer worth investing time into.
Eh
It’s not bad by any means but there’s very little direction. And what direction is there is very confusing. I still can’t find the furnace to smelt ores and when I use the furnace interface nearby it just brings up keys? No idea where the actual one is because the smithing section says east of spawn. East of spawn is the key forge. How far east we talking? Best example I could give right there. Fun otherwise but feels like aimless wandering really.

Ban Happy / Unresponsive
Company banned me for falling asleep. They claim I cheated because the attack button remained pressed. In the game if you touch attack, and then your hand slides across the screen, the game registers you’re still holding attack. They claim I have auto-clicked. There is 1 continuous holding, not multiple times clicks. Then they claimed I used an object on my phone, unsure how that even works. Told them I fell asleep and my hand must not have left the screen. Instead of logging me out, which they have the power to do, they immediately banned my account with probably $500+ invested. Do not trust this company with your monetary investments. I promise you, one mistake and you will lose it all. I am filing through the App Store as they refuse to communicate with me after about 2 weeks of waiting for this appeal review. CAREFUL!!!!
Bug
This is a awesome game, but recently we can’t smelt item the furnace doesn’t seem to work. And that block a major part of the fame to level up are equipment Pls fix it

It’s a dead game. The player base is small and managed by moderators that are nepotistic. Development is non existent. Lots of potential lost due to lack of development and community.
Crashing
I used to play a lot, but now when I try to log in the music plays, it says “logging in” for almost a minute and then crashes. I miss playing.

The game is fun, although grindy, biggest issue is that I have to “request” account deletion instead of a progress reset button

Definitely worth playing
Respectfully, the artwork is nice and the game is clearly well programmed. It runs great on older devices. But the game design is lacking in appreciation of the player. I would give 1 additional star if you fix the loot pickup system. Overall I felt like the Owner of this product has room to grow and I highly encourage you to re-evaluate how the game "feels" to play. I want to thank you for giving me a lot of great ideas, I'm working on a similair web based project myself. Keep up the great work, you'll make it.
Its good but needs work.
Here they are (especially cave bats I quit the first time I played because I genuinely couldn't find them) the magic system is super fun but also very expensive and hard to figure out on your own, especially because each shot you can cost you from 10gold to like 100 it's not much but its enough to be a problem at lower levels. My biggest issue with the game I personally have is the slow creep of ptw sneaking in. Paying for faster progression or skins is absolutely fine by me but it's getting to where you cant get to high levels without paying or doing the same thing for weeks to level up. I love the game I really do and honestly, it could become one of those games everyone has at least played a few hours like Minecraft or BTTD. Just please don't let the pay-to-win take over, the reason those games are so good is because it's not a requirement it's just to help or a cosmetic. Also, side note please make a seperate chat for player-to-player trades it's extremely annoying when it's filled with trade offers and it can become incoherent from it.
Amazing MMO
If you like grinding and runescape this game is great! It has a great mix of grinding skills, pvm, and even pvp in the “wilderness”. It also has rare discontinued items, something missing in OSRS. A lot of fun
Pay to PLAY.
Once you get past the first 100 levels, you either have to play for 30 hours just for the next level or spend money. At this point, it just becomes pay to play at a certain point.

No updates and no bug fixes
I understand they want to bring major updates slowly but I cant understand why that much slow... They don't bother to fix some bugs like monster stuck inside walls and messing overall grinding. I mean look at version history. It feels like they don't care about game at all. People pay for this game with membership and patreon. Please hear us.
Best game ever
Although I’ve played tons of different games I’m definitely more interested in the more grindy games that takes longer to complete and this is the perfect app for that although it has around a couple thousand active users the fan base is extremely active and very open to talking Overall it’s a amazing game
Play it’s your own risk
The moderators in this game suck, they will permanently ban people with no explanation or proof as a first offense for whatever reason they come up with. So if you wanna put a bunch of time in this game, it doesn’t matter how many years you all your progress can be lost in a matter of seconds just because the moderators feel like it
Solid
I really like this game a lot. Theres still a decent sized community after a few years of being out which is a plus. There are some things that could be tweaked here and there but the biggest thing is the chat/trade system. Theres only one public chat and it gets spammed with people wanting to trade/buy/sell. I think a system where you could set up items for sale would be super beneficial. There wouldn't be so much spam in world chat and it would be easier for people to make gold. Overall a fun game and i’ll change my rating to 5 stars when theres a better system for trading/buying/selling.
If you can even play..
The game was fun and had great potential to grow and really become something even bigger. Until you play it for a day and then try to get back on the next day and it won’t load past the main sign in screen now… that’s a huge problem and disappointment, especially if you buy stuff and now can’t even play the game. I’d say that’s just a cash grab, but I’m not sure it’s intentional and more so just a bug hopefully 🤷♂️

The game is great, i enjoy playing it, its super fun, but there is one problem thats bugging me, everytime i use the “/editon” command and when i try to move a button my game crashes, i’ve seen a lot of people complaining about this and it seems its only on IOS, please fix it
Unexplained/Unfair Bans
They ban players and don’t even give them reasons most of the time. And even when they give reasons they provide zero proof of whatever they are accusing you of. Better games out there to play. Zero PvP aspects as PvP is dead here
One of the better games!
The game is definitely fun and there’s a lot to do. The mechanics are simple to learn and jump right into, which I appreciate. The only thing I’m disappointed in is the in app purchases. Most of them seem pretty expensive, especially for this quality of game. Some of their costumes can cost you $50+ which doesn’t really make sense to me. I think they would make just as much money, if not more if the pricing made more sense. For now I will continue to play it and see if it’s worth spending the money on. As of now only the pass seems semi worth it, but it is a subscription. I think $4.99 a month would be much more appealing. But good game otherwise!
Bit boring, clone of many other games, but free
Just so boring. If you like killing the same models over and over, clicking on herbs over and over, tapping attack over and over, you might like this game. Would’ve been good a decade or two ago, but if you enjoy this game, just go play old school runescape. This is like a worse version of that game. The micro transactions break the game, since you can purchase currency, and the currency can be traded for the best gear in the game. But to be honest the pvp and pvm is really boring and bad, so it doesn’t really matter. It’s a good game if you literally have no other options, for example if you don’t have a computer or your phone is not good enough to play better games.

Ban for no reason
I have spent a lot of time on this game just to get unfairly ban. Apparently for auto clicking, which I have not once used. Don’t waste your time. The game is a grind fest and if you grind to much you’ll get ban. Thanks for the time wasted.
Love the game needs controller support
I've played many hours during early version of the game and love to see how much it has grown as the developer continues to update. However controller support on iOS would be amazing and might even convince me to pay for the membership. Hope to see controller support soon!

Good but plain
I would give it more than 3 stars since I love 2D games like this but I had issues with the crafting and questing. So the crafting is too repetitive and wastefull, I have to mone a ton to then smelt to lvl up enough to make sheilds and boots that I could find in the field. And have a million bars of all sorts but no need for them. Was this even thought through? I have had a mushroom quest since the beginning and could never find the darn things, after googling, i find put you have to use the teleport in the slime field but it requires items to teleport and they have to be crafter using some other useless process or making a million fishing poles or something. Why??? Its the level 1 creature lol. Something is messed up. Theres no map or guidance to where the monsters are either. Also the graphics at the begining indicate archers and magic but theres only swords/melee. This game needs some love.

I like it, just costs a lot to look pretty (aka cosmetics and shards) but otherwise I cannot complain. The mods are on it and the community seems really nice because of that. It takes a while to learn the game but that's kinda the fun, playing and discovering new things on your own :p I've been playing for maybe a week now an yeh I can say I enjoy it 🌸✨
Extremely Strict Mods & Unfair Ban
Got banned for not replying to a mod after suspicion of using an auto clicker. They give you two minutes to reply, and if you don’t, they ban you. There are hundreds of players recently that got banned unfairly for simply playing the game. I am not kidding, you can ask any mod, that is the rule. They cannot tell the difference between leaving your thumb on the attack button (which auto attacks) and actually using an auto clicker. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TAKE A NAP, YOU CAN GET BANNED WITH YOUR FINGER ON THE SCREEN. If you don’t believe me, just ask around those who got banned in the discord. Many people I’ve known (including myself) got banned recently due to mods moving you from a certain location (can be anywhere), and Into spawn. They can do this in the middle of you fighting a boss/mobs if they have a suspicion of you auto clicking. Again just a reminder: holding on to the attack button will make you auto attack. If you don’t pay attention to reply to their question of “Hey” if that even is a question, they will record you auto attacking (if you left your finger on the attack button) and ban you. This is an intensively grind heavy game, which leaves you with no choice but to hold on to the attack button, and in this past event, with mobs aggro (ie. they pursue you) it’s most efficient to stand in place and hold down that button. Essentially playing the event efficiently will put you at risk of being banned IF you do not reply to them if they suspect anything. I’ve had an account since 2019, I poured out over 1000 hours on this game. I really enjoyed playing it. I’ve had a very long day at work and was very tired. I fell asleep holding on to that button, and in a matter of time, was banned. I’ve wasted so much time playing this game not knowing how unfair and unfriendly the mods and “Guards” are. Spent over $150 supporting the game with purchases and yet they don’t care and treat veteran players with no warning, no reminders, but harsh permanent bans out of suspicion. It’s ridiculous.

Dissapointed
In all honesty this game was one of the best I’d played in years searching for a game similar to endless online over 10-12 years ago. I was hooked for 2/3 days straight. Until… I found out it’s pay to win. It’s not fully pay to win but the fact you can purchase in game items for real money and sell them completely killed this for me. You still have to grind mobs to level but the in game purchases took the whole fun out of grinding for better items. It ended up literally just being a mob grinding game with no reward. I can spend £1.79 and get practically the best gear in the game. I heard this game never used to be this way so it’s dissapointing you chose this path because this game had real potential. I would’ve happily just paid a subscription to the game monthly instead. I would massively recommend setting up a server with no purchases and new characters , a subscription instead, or just keep the purchases to cosmetic items only. Either way i won’t be playing anymore. Literally just grinding mobs with no reward 🤷🏻♂️
