A great tool
I use this app so much when I am doing mundane tasks. It does a great job of keeping my focus for my prayer lists. I’m not normally a prayer list person, and I rely on the Inner Room app to help manage that for me. For a time God was powerfully answering my prayers that I was praying on this app. My wife began to tell random people that we would put them on my prayer list…and God would answer those prayers. The Inner Room app became famous in my community.
Want to love, but… 🥴
Really can’t get any of the settings to function properly and it’s not intuitive, for me at least.
Best Guided Prayer App… BUT
I’ve spent a long time looking for an app where I can put in my own requests, set how long I want to pray, and then have it audibly guide me through each one for that total amount of time- and this is the only one I’ve found. It’s amazing! BUT… the audio voice is really robotic, I hope there’s an option to switch it out soon.
Started Great
I’ve been using this app for a few months and have really enjoyed it. However, recently, I noticed an issue where I can no longer change the timer for my prayer time—it automatically sets to 10 minutes and won’t allow adjustments. If this bug could be fixed, it would make the app great.
Excellent but frustrating too
I’ve been using this app for over 3 years and I love it and definitely pray more as a result. I’m using an iPhone 12 mini and I’ve never been able to delete a prayer so I have accrued a lot, that are no longer relevant. Sending them to the archive doesn’t remove them from playlists. I’ve emailed a couple of times and I haven’t heard back. When I go to the Help section and watch the video, my app doesn’t look like that at all. I can’t swipe left from archive to delete prayers. Nothing has changed in the 3 years I’ve been using it. I’ve heard a couple of times that you’re upgrading it, but it’s always looked exactly the same on both the iPhones I’ve had. Can you help? Thank you and bless you.
Amazing Prayer App
I’m so thankful for this Prayer App. I have used it daily for many, many months and have found it very helpful with my connections with God. Thanks for developing it!
A problem
I can’t seem to get past the privacy screen
Love to pray with this but..
The randomization for the quick 3 minute prayer is not so random. I have about 25 different prayers but only receive the same 8 or so, sometimes in back to back prayer sessions. I imagine that God really wants me to lift those topics up so it’s been fine. I would also like to pray through my whole life using this feature.
Time not changing
I loved this app until it stopped allowing me to change the amount of time I pray. It’s been stuck on 10 minutes and I can’t change it.
So helpful
This app has helped me replace my mindless scrolling with spending time with God. The 3 minute button is my go to when I’m waiting in line, in the car, or when I just feel myself wanting to distract. Instead of distracting, this app helps ground me. Thank you so much! The only thing about the app that’s not great is the initial set up. I didn’t know how the app worked so I didn’t know what to put in the three things it makes you choose initially. I ended up deleting all those original prompts and then making new ones when I saw how the app worked. My husband downloaded it months ago but never used it because the prompts for set up weren’t really helpful.
Change Categories
Can you please make it possible for us to change categories? Right now it’s fixed - Friends/Family, Myself, Church, etc. I want to be able to give other categories. In Notes, it’s limited to 280 characters. Can you please remove the limitation. I want to be able to put a whole prayer in there and the limitation is not good. Thanks.
Great app
Very helpful for guiding through prayer. I like the audio prompts for prayer, but would like to be able to change the amount of time between each prompt to pray for something new.
Bug fix please
Hi please could you fix the bug with the prayer playlists? I’m on iOS and whenever I try to delete or edit a prayer playlist it crashes. Thanks!
Excellent!
This app is so very helpful! Highly recommend!
Useful App - Needs Better Organization
The prayer playlists could be more visibly accessible. Also, I wish I could easily add prayer points to prayer playlists, instead of having to first add a prayer point in general and then go back to the prayer playlists to add those prayer points.
App crash
The app crashes when you click on notifications such as going to daily prayer and it’s a bit slow when changing screens. Would be helpful if there was a spinner between pages if performance is an issue
What a help!
Thank you, Tylor, and all who made this app. I especially love the times set to listen to God. What a gift this is! I look forward to the regular times of prayer and the reminders at random times. Such a help in becoming a personal house of prayer. I’ll be recommending this!
Great idea
This app really helps me to remember to pray continuously. There are seasons when I get many requests for prayer and with this app I can be sure to remember all of them. I would love to have the ability to quickly rearrange the order of my prayers without having to edit my whole playlist. I like to pray in a certain order.
Great app!
Wonderful app for daily prayer! Here some suggestions to improve it: 1- profil with login and pw in order to have settings which can be saved and uploaded when we change our phone... sad and annoying to have to go through reconfigurations because of phone changes. 2- other languages. I would have loved to share it with friends here in Switzerland but they don’t speak English. Of no use to them for now... sad. Thanks a lot anyway!
This app teaches me to pray by praying
Having this app to use has definitely increased the time I spend in intercessory prayer. Having each person’s picture before me when praying for them, has had a surprising effect on my time in prayer - I’ve felt much more drawn to praying for the person. The app has enabled me to be more creative about the way I pray for people and situations. It’s also easy to use and you can just dive right in.
Great Resource
Loving the app and it certainly helps focus my prayer into the right areas. Please could you add logon functionality that allows multiple devices? I use my iPhone when travelling but would love to have my prayer lists available on my iPad also.
Check it Out
Whether you are looking for a prayer “app”, seeking to increase your prayer life, or seeking to deepen your focus and dependence on God, check out Inner Room. . Lists and areas of prayer - for your family and friends, your church, your community - can be added and categorized or you can simply start the app and start praying. It keeps track of you “prayer stats” to help you track how your time of prayer is increasing, who you are praying for most, and how your prayers have been answered over time. . The greatest benefit - in my opinion - however is the guided prompts and musical background that helps to focus and meditate in God’s presence.
It’s Great
I love this app one thing i dislike is that gross robotic voice that plays before you pray idk how to turn it off can you guys remove it please
So helpful!
It really helps to see your prayers on “paper”! I love the feature that allows you to move old prayers to the “thanks” list so that you can look back on what prayers God has answered! Great app! No complaints at all!
Feature?
Any possibility of multiple alarms per day?
It works
I just spent ten minutes praying and this little app helped me stay focused. The audio cues are great, as is the soothing background music. I feel full and happy.
Please add a ‘no music’ option.
Firstly, thank you! This is a great app that will help a lot of people to focus and develop their prayer times. I would however ask that you add an option to turn the music off. I find the audio prompts helpful but the music distracting and would like to be able to separate them. Many thanks :)
Practical tool
The key to a praying life to to practice and practice it often. This App will help you do it! It is easy and quick and adaptable. Can’t wait for it to be available in Spanish and other languages.
