Not great unless you are in The States
Everytime I opened the “near you” tab, for the whole of Sydney (population 7m), I found …. NOBODY. That’s right. Zero. When you scroll through the groups, there are again almost NO users in Sydney. Rip off. I want my money back. If you don’t have any genuine users, that’s fine, if you are honest about it, and don’t charge money.
It’s ok
I found some cool events, variety of people is broad. Luckily the pestering messages from lex account have been reduced in frequency. Setup and filters are ok.
Bringt Nix
Man kann so oft online kommen oder Leute versuchen anzuschreiben. Es bringt eh nichts seit die meisten nicht antworten, geschweige denn man auch sehr sehr oft keine Profile in der Nähe vorgeschlagen bekommt. Wenn man nur Event Information möchte bringt die App wahrscheinlich schon etwas da regelmäßig irgendwas geschrieben wird. Aber ansonsten antwortet keiner und um irgendwas längerfristig sehen zu können geschweige denn ein paar mehr Einstellungen zu haben muss man auch direkt wieder sehr viel Geld Blechen und das bringt das nicht.

Ich finde die App klasse. Der Ansatz ist mal ein komplett anderer. Der Grund wieso ich diese Rezension aber schreibe ist, dass ich gesperrt wurde und auf meine Email nicht reagiert wird. Laut App haben mich mehrere Nutzer wegen anstößigen Verhalten gemeldet, obwohl ich lediglich einen Post veröffentlicht habe und ansonsten gar nicht aktiv war in der App. Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen :)
Quickest and easiest help
I had trouble logging in from a lost phone number. Whoever helped me was so good and fast and I’ve never gotten such a fast answer to any emails sent to any company as I did from Lex 💗 thank you!
Constant downgrades
Been using this app for 2 years and it gets worse with every update. Constant pop-ups, notifications for nonexistent messages, and users can identify as “straight” lol. I think only tourists use it anymore
Mostly good
Seems a bit odd though that only one photo is allowed per user. I’d love to be able to post a gallery of my artwork, another of myself, include images in posts and use a photo as my avatar Text based is cool, but us arty types like images as well
Location doesn’t change
I was really excited to try this, because the premise seemed very promising. I downloaded this on holiday, but now I am back home and I am unable to use it.

I want my money back for supporting you in the first place, this is not the product I backed last decade
It’s a good app not just for dating but also community
That’s the main attribute, it’s an all round queer app to make connections both friendly and romantically. I like the community aspect and the new groups feature!
Not able to post posts
I was trying to write a post, because i saw others wirting posts and i was only able to write the post but when i wanted to actually post, there appeared an error telling me i havent written anything yet. Though i was new on the app and thought it was a nice idea and i saw others being able to post so maybe that’s just a problem with my iphone? Was trying to post for three days so now i am going to delete the app.
Great app
Met some amazing friends and lovers! It is also privacy friendly, which is always a plus :)
17+ ?
I wanted to join the app as I am 17, and in the appstore it says 17+. But when I tried putting in my birthdate it rejected and said that I needed to be 18+. Disappointing and confusing.
Creative app, just not enough users
I love the design of this app! Every last detail is clearly and visibly designed by queer people. And it does what its supposed to do; bring queer people together. I’ve found a large number of trans people and neurodivergent people on here. Everyone is authentic and the app serves as the perfect community for people who want more down-to-earth connections. My only criticism is there are not enough users to have a broad and wide community in regards to meeting queer people in person. I’ve often had to set my search criteria to ‘the whole world’ in order to find likeminded people. There have been a lot of unfinished conversations and people who don’t reply, though I wonder if this is due to inactivated accounts and the inability to see if someone has viewed your message. All in all, a creative and accepting app, but needs more queers!

... aber ich freue mich darauf, das es sich langsam ausbreitet. Schönes lo-fi Design ist super hip und obwohl manche Funktionen wie der Chat noch ein bisschen holprig sind, erfreue ich mich an den gewonnenen Kontakten.

Lex was a good queer text-only community with anonymity that echoed Craigslist Now it’s trying to be Facebook. Absolute garbage rework to be broadly palatable.
U can tell a lot by the the fact there’s no bad reviews left up
It does strike me as quite strange that they won’t allow cis queer men seeing as they have trans men &women &enbys and cis queer women almost as if trans men aren’t considered real men by the devs ,’:0 This is coming from a gay trans man who feels a bit .. alienated by this choice It’s great that they keep deleting all the reviews :^)
The AFABULOUS app I didn’t know I needed
Wow! This app is incredible!! So wholesome and uniquely queer. After having the app only a few short hours, I already made connections all over the world. It’s possible to narrow it down to your area too. It’s nice to have a queer space not designed for or dominated by cis men (queer or otherwise). Loving it. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Delightful app, but please, please please make the distance settings more flexible. I would like to search in my home country. That country (Australia) is 3000miles wide. To have to jump from 250miles to ‘the world’ is crazy! Plz halp.

Absolut ENTTÄUSCHEND und definitiv NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT für lesbische Frauen mit konkreten Vorstellungen bezgl. potenzieller Partnerinnen. Eine persönliche Eingrenzung hinsichtlich erwünschter bzw. unerwünschter Veranlagungen oder Ausrichtungen (z.B. „trans“, „butch“, „vegan“ oder „religiös“) wird einem als Diskriminierung(!) ausgelegt und hat die Sperrung des Profils zur Folge.
Disappointed and hurt
Even if you belong to the target group of this app, even if you interact with people with respect, you can be rejected. If you are looking for a safe place to meet other people, it’s not here. I’m sure it’s not an intention of makers of this app, but the community is very hard and there is no control of complaints.
