Great app for one event
Really well build by the development team. Makes the entire event more fun for me. One request: would be great if audio doesnt get interrupted as soon as you open the app. Would like to browse while listening music.
Terrible log in process
Shocking process to log into app using World Rugby credentials - but no option to autofill password or copy & paste it in - so had to manually type in 20 character password each time trying to update account info! Plus no Face ID. Come on it’s 2026……🤬

The app has pretty much got it all and is easy to manoeuvre through though it would be good to add the previous world cups in it even with an archive section for both men’s and women’s teams. Add videos highlights and everything else. Also have a stats page not just for that particular World Cup but also for all of them.
Great app but…
The app is great but every time I go on to the fantasy tab it asks me to log in again, then takes me to what looks like a settings page and when I go to come out of the settings page to select my team it logs me out. Every time.
Reasonable app
Would be a much better app if you could access the player’s info from within the app rather than having to go to the browser. For some reason the login feature doesn’t work for me so I can’t play the fantasy game. This could be a much better app.

Wrong tournament!
I downloaded the 2025 Women’s rugby World Cup app but it’s the app for the 2027 men’s WC
Constant updates
Not a bad app at all but in 2025 it needs a manual update every time I look at it.
Steals device audio
The app is generally fine. The thing I find unfathomable is that it steals the device audio as soon as you open it up, so listening to a podcast, or music & wanting to go check something, yeah that’s paused now just in case the RWC app might need to play a video… Given the amount of static/text content used in the app I cannot understand this.
Incorrect results
How can an app dedicated to the Rugby World Cup report incorrect scores? 18 ENG SAM 19 was actually 19 ENG SAM 18!! Poor.

Doesn’t tell me what I want to know!!!!
I’ve just downloaded the app to look at the game schedules. I seem to be locked into looking at JUST England games as that’s the team I would “follow” ! However, my interest is in ALL the game generally. I also want to know the schedule of games as in 6 Nations, etc. I found that England are playing Samoa. at 17:00 and I can watch it on BBC2. However, I’m missing a VITAL piece of information! WHAT DAY!!!!! So all in all! I need :- The FULL schedule. Details for ALL teams. AND a sensible interface with the developers website that will allow me to raise issues with the app. Their drop down menu for subject doesn’t include “Problems with the app”!!! Appalling!!!!

Every time I open the app I get redirected to the Fantasy rugby website which is quite annoying. If I wanted to take part in that I would. I don’t need the app to automatically open their website for me. Would’ve got more stars if they stopped with the pop up crap.

Great app but missing vital info
This one of the best apps I’ve seen for any major sporting event, however it is missing vital information in the match statistics section and has no data on the how the score is compiled with the number of tries, conversions, penalty goals, drop goals and penalty tries.
Fantasy game - Can’t transfer players
You have a bug in the fantasy pages and you can’t transfer players - the page just sticks it’s so annoying

Why is the Predictor game very slow to update points? Two of yesterday’s games have yet to say how many points I was awarded. Otherwise, really good, informative, interesting app

Very good, just a couple of minor probs
Overall the app is excellent however I gave it 4 not 5 stars for a couple on minor irritations. It doesn’t tell you which game the highlights are for and the daily news/other feature stories are of variable quality.
Predictor Game is shockingly slow to update
App might be ok overall but set up a predictor league with friends. Updates can be random and still not fully complete a day later. Sort it out support!

I’ve tried 5 times over 7 day period and simply get unexpected error when I try to register. Reinstalled App and still no better. A bit like World Rugby leadership - not fit for the new age!

Really annoying
Every time you open the app it immediately opens some web page for something and then you have to switch back to the app. It’s really annoying.

Almost missed games due to bugs
This weekends games are showing up under “results” rather than “fixtures” so I could have missed them if I didn’t realize something was up! Apart from that the app is ok.

Brilliant app. Content is fantastic. If you’re not in Japan then use this APP it’s the next best thing to being there! RWC Daily is a not miss.

Registration Failure
This looks as if it could be a really good app but, during several attempts to register, getting the message “Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred” is not at all helpful. In good software, no error should offer no explanation as to what should be done next.

The worst World Cup app ever
Doesn’t do the basics well Fixtures !!!! Results!!!!! They’re all there after loads of hunting, we are in 2023 this has been done numerous times before!!! Designed just for the sake of being different!!
Update speed
You need to be up to the minute with your score and pool table updates - only Japan score on pool results as of time of this post. Overall - good work keep going
Casting option
The app needs to have an option to cast to TV. Broadcaster is not showing a stream option, so this is the o my way to see highlights and would like to cast to TV.
Ok App
This is a good app, not quite as good as the ICC Cricket One-Day World Cup app. Not sure why you have to leave the app to see the pool ladder. Also you have the results listed the wrong way the latest result should be at the top of the page not at the bottom, it’s painful to have to scroll to the bottom to see the latest results. Overall a great app.

Difficult to navigate and find info
This is one of the more disappointing rugby World Cup apps that I have used. All I ever want in an app is to see results, group points et cetera. Sadly this app looks good and initially seems good but I could not for the life of me find the simple results that I needed to see each day. After spending at least an hour trying to find the information I gave up and downloaded a different app which has advertising but still is much better than this app. Really thought after four years planning you could come up with a better app than this.
Drop goals and penalty tries don’t exist?
The app doesn’t show these in score summaries, and the live commentary often doesn’t mention crucial events like tries or even have its posts organised in a chronological order! Seem like fairly basic things for the official tournament app to be able to handle!
