Good app
User friendly
Useless
Received an email and text with a partial message from the restaurant and a link telling me to get the app. Can’t see the message once I have the app - what’s the point? Just put the message in the email and text and stop wasting resources and energy.
Big fixed, awesome app
So I had an issue where I couldn’t get the app to work because I couldn’t enable location services. After about 10 mins I finally got it to work, and now I am súper happy because I managed to snag an outdoor table at a restaurant in London Bridge at 5pm on a Friday thanks to WalkUp. It’s brilliant!
Flakey app
Great when it works which is not often
Good potential, nice, and buggy
It shows the queue and seems can be used to book a table and to send messages to shops. But it's buggy around the GPS. I'm far from London, and it keeps recommending restaurants in Soho and Piccadilly. And with the restaurant I booked just at a meter from me, the app keeps saying it is 5k kilometers away. I'm using iOS13 that enhanced privacy support: maybe it is here that developers should look for a fix.

Received an email to say my reservation had been selected. Not information or explanation.
Dodgy text messages
Following online booking on the day of the visit Dojo sends you an extremely dodgy looking text. It only shows you half a sentence from the message and then gives an unreadable link to click. Looks like 100% fraud! There is no way to check the messages through the app. And if you follow the dodgy link it says you have to re-confirm your booking so it's not cancelled. For what was planned as a pleasant experience on a night out this gives entirely unnecessary level of stress through a very unprofessional implementation

Delete my reservation
Not sure what’s happening here, tried to speak to the restaurant instead Dojo deleted my booking along with the deposit I paid.
No communication at all
I used this at an airport lounge and went from 61st to 60th in line over 30 mins. Then, suddenly my spot is ready and I have to rush over. If the business using it doesn’t know how, then it’s a poor experience for the users. Waste of a download
So quick and easy to use
Love this app, so quick and easy to use. Can book a restaurant with a few clicks.
Listings not up to date
We made a booking for a restaurant via the App but when we arrived it turned out to have closed down and the building was being refurbished. Clearly the listings are not verified or being kept current even though it showed lots of availability and slots. Could not find a way through the app to let them know about this, and the AI Chatbot was useless. Very let down and ruined our evening.
A bit annoying
You can’t register w/ them accessing your location.
My big problem has been solved!
I used to not go to places because I’m not a queueing person. This app has solved my problems - guess I don’t have to queue anymore!
Someone should fix this app
So I created a reservation online using the restaurant’s website. Then it suggested I use the app, so I downloaded it, but it’s a bit brain-dead unless you login. So I tried to create an account, and it says that the phone number is already in use. So I try to use the “forgotten password” option, but it says the account doesn’t exist. So they tell you to use the app, but won’t allow you to use it! Absolutely useless!

Unable to log in, tells me that my phone and email are already registered, when I choose “forgotten password” option, it says no account registered with those details, very frustrating

Misleading times
The app gave me an incorrect time. The resultant said they had no tables for 45 mins but the app said 10 mins. The whole premise of the app is to be somewhat correct. Won’t use again and will warn others it is very inaccurate

Extremely poor experience, OpenTable much superior
Extremely poor UX gives a very amateur feel to the app. Shame to see great restaurants using such a badly constructed app that gives a negative start to the dinning experience. Removed as soon as I could, we almost missed our table due to this app!
Awesome app!
Great app - no more wasted time queuing for eating out!! Especially with covid limiting number of seats and leading to long queues, now I can shop and eat when I’m ready, feel like a movie star walking straight to my table in front of everyone else queuing hehe 🤩
Doesn’t notify you when table ready
Can’t even do it’s one job and let you know when the table is ready. Instead you get that message via text, so if you have app open waiting for a it to notify you and aren’t looking at texts you’ll miss out on a table.

No time estimate gives it 1 star
Good idea however having no indication if wait time is minutes or hours makes it pointless to plan your time. If there was a long wait, we wouldn’t bother and find find an alternative. If it was short then happy to wait. Last time we used the app, had no idea of how long the wait time was. Ordered food/drinks at another venue and then got a text to say our table was ready. Pointless!
