What people like
- Updates fixed previous launch issues
- QR code check-in works smoothly
- Booking and cancelling classes is easy
What they complain about
- Calendar sync breaks often and fails
- App crashes heavily during morning bookings
- Ads and promos clutter the screen
- Session counts show wrong numbers sometimes
Works way better
App is now updated and working well now comparing during first launch. Choosing multiple clubs to check the schedule is not a problem. Overall good.
Bad UX
They redesigned the app but didn’t improve anything, instead creating more useless features, taking away what user needs. The product manager and designer for the application lack common sense. Please change your job because you don’t know how to create good products.
Seemingly very buggy in latest updates
Attn dev’s: freezing on open, can’t detect internet. No issues on other apps.
Calendar not updated
The latest App does not update calendar which is an important feature
Room for enhancement is there
- would be nice if waitlisted then confirmed ones can be added to the calendar as well - sometimes takes very long time to get loaded - would be nice to have the option to exclude pure pro classes from non pure pro tab
Previous version was wayyyy better - new version is an eyesore
New app focuses on selling (promos and ads) to the member rather than on making the booking of classes seamless and user focused. The precious tiny screen space is 90% taken up by efforts to encourage more spending at the expense of user sensibilities. For one, you see the dates but not the days of your bookings; you have to keep going back to tap on each day instead of the smooth continuous scroll-thru of the previous version - highly stupid; there’s a ton of repeated information on the booking page of EVERY SINGLE DAY - why?? There’s all these unnecessary frills like fitness goals which is used by at most 1% of members. The design is very poor - everything is fighting for your attention rather than highlighting the truly important aspects. For the new members who don’t know what it was before - lucky you.
Works okay for me
I don’t understand how there are so many 1 star ratings for this app. Given it’s not perfect. But I’m able to book my yoga classes, waitlist and cancel. I can use the QR code to check in at the gym and for classes easily, though I wish it loaded the code a bit faster. Also, I wish you could choose more than 5 locations when selecting classes. I think the one star people are the same people who can’t remember their locker passwords and cause the incessant beeping in the locker rooms lol
Auto syncing with calendar doesn’t work…
The new app doesn’t automatically sync the classes with my calendar
App logo
Why is the app logo suddenly just black and white hexagon?
Latest version is a downgrade not upgrade !
The 3.0.0 version and subsequent updates deserve zero star . Gave feedback and after 1 month , issue still not fixed. At first it doesn’t display the number of sessions left, after they “corrected “ it, worse! Showing I have 0/20 sessions when I just got a new package. Don’t understand why need to enlarge the instructors’ photo so much that the class description cannot be displayed in full. Just bring back the old version which was working fine. How can management think that this is an upgrade for the new year? Pls fire the developer who developed this.
Still not showing number of sessions left
After the fix, the app is should 25/25 of session, it is not showing real time on the number of sessions left.
Can’t link to calendar
I have to open the app to check my booking, it’s no longer showing on phone calendar and remind me of booking. Hope to add this function back soon.
Feedback
Please freeze the yoga, fitness, pilates selection pane. Number of remaining class pack sessions is still not reflecting
Step back after updated version
I used to can sign in both my iPad and iPhone together at old version . now I can only sign in my iPhone which it very inconvenient for me sometimes. Very used unfriendly of the updated App.. what the points to update it ?
Still need to fix the calendar
Calendar add function not working. Tried several times but it is not getting updated.
UX person should be fired
I need about 10 phones with continuous screen to see just 1 day of yoga classes.
New app
The app doesn't automatically update iCalendar for booking add/remove changes, the bug needs to be fixed. The user interface is confusing, and making it necessary to scroll to the top to switch between yoga, Pilates, and fitness bookings, and then reselect the date.
New app is a step back features wise (Dec 23)
- No more complications for Apple Watch - Waiting list status does not update automatically: need to close and reopen the app to see status Ux wise - List of bookings in new tab is too spaced out and requires a lot of scrolling up and down to see all - It does not indicate the status (booked or wait list after 2 days) - Days are listed in reversed chronological order (latest first) but bookings within the day are listed in chronological order (the opposite method)
App is getting from bad to worse!
First, it cannot add calendar. It’s fixed but it doesn’t remove after cancelling class. Then, it doesn’t allow me to book another class even after my waitlist is not successful. It says I’ve exceeded my daily booking limit. And the worst part is, it doesn’t truly reflect my membership entitlement - I still cannot book Fuze classes even though I’ve paid for the membership. So when are you going to get a better IT team and proper app!!!! I’ll give you zero star if that’s an option
App crash every morning
App crashes a lot every morning around 9am when I want to make bookings. For other timings, the app is usually fine, but this means that by the time I can make bookings some of the popular classes will be gone. I am okay with the clunky and not so user friendly app, but at least it should be able to accommodate many people at once. This does not happen with Virgin Active app I used to use back then, for similar membership price I don’t know why Pure can’t upgrade its app to the same level
Bug in app for adding class in iphone calendar
The recent app update does not enable the function to automatically add yoga classes in the iphone icalendar. hope this bug can be fixed soon
Buggy app
App is quite buggy, everyday morning I get timeout error and doesn’t allow book more than 1 session
App has been crashing recently:/
Please fix it soon!
Needs correction
Hi team, after the most recent upgrade, the app has an error which needs correction - when user completes booking transaction, system jumps back to top of page and we have to scroll down the long list to make another booking. Please remove the [back to top] action. Thnkx!!
Calendar add function not working
Calendar add function not working when classes are booked. Was working until this new update
No calendar updates for waitlisted classes
Calendar updates don’t work for waitlisted classes. There is no update when you are added to a wait list. It’s even worse when the calendar is not updated when (if) your class is confirmed. I have missed a couple.
Works now

Terrible
This app is terrible
App is not stable
Always hang, not stable
Could be better
For the most part, the app functions decently. Would be better if: 1. we could see previous classes that we have attended... similar to other fitness membership apps such as Classpass or MINDBODY. 2. Filter the list of classes for a specific time block (e.g. 7pm-10pm)
9am crash
The app keeps crashing at 9am when everyone is trying to book classes. It does not allow for multiple waitlists- this would be a significant improvement specially now that is extremely difficult to book classes. It does not show how many slots are available (booked) and how many people are on waitlist. This would provide more TRANSPARENCY to the users and allow to make informed decisions on which class to book.
App crash every now and then even with latest update
App crashes every now and then whenever i want to view my booking page, booking history, message history etc etc. Sometimes it just crash when i open the app. Additionally, if i log on to my acc via website, i will get log out with my app, it’s quite frustrating having to log in every now and then too.
The app isn’t so bad but..
I hope we can select more than 3 studios at a time because 1) my membership is all access and 2) even when it wasnt (all access), i wanted to see classes at other studios, because the classes at other studios was the reason why i upgraded my membership. I hope that the app can save my settings such as the studio locations i selected (more than one). Its a bit troublesome to keep on selecting the other studios when i check out the classes because by default, my original cluster location is the one displayed upon loading the app. I hope the bug on the multiple notifications have been solved as well.
