Auf Iphone 13 mini nicht zu gebrauchen
Leider ist es unmöglich, die App auf dem besagten Iphone zu verwenden. Die Schaltflächen, welche man benötigt, werden nicht oder nur halb angezeigt. Aufgrund der sehr schlechten Übersetzung aus dem Französischen, ist es ein Abenteuer, sich da zurechtzufinden. Schade. Auch der Kundenservice lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Für diesen Preis sollte mehr drin sein.

Still paying for this, could log in earlier but my app account says no membership but yet the online account does. can’t even log into the app anymore
System Top, App leider nach über 8 Monaten ein Flop!
Hatte mir die Weste gekauft, natürlich wegen der Airbag Funktion. Aber auch um zu sehen wie viel ich so fahre, da es verschiedene Maschinen sind. Leider funktioniert diese Funktion in der App überhaupt nicht mehr, immer nur „wir verbessern“! Wenn es nicht klappt, warum lässt man dann nicht die vorhandene Ansicht? Echt schade, für den Preis und die monatlichen Kosten.
SEPA, Zahlung fehlgeschlagen
Wiederholt aufgetreten und aktuell nicht lösbar: - Meldung, dass „Zahlung fehlgeschlagen“ sei und man den Monatsbeitrag „legalisieren“ soll. Leider läuft das Abo auf SEPA, und der Betrag wurde schon vor einer Woche von in&motion abgebucht. Airbag-Abo gilt dann als unbezahlt und ist nicht nutzbar! - der Eingabescreen für eine neue SEPA Verbindung ist auf meinem iPhone 17 so voll mit Text, dass der Bestätigen-Button ganz unten zwar angescrollt, aber nicht bestätigt werden kann

Expensive and in app WiFi is awful..
Expensive subs which if you miss a month even by error you’re airbag won’t work.. the WiFi in app is a nightmare and hardly ever works. Throwing it in the bin for a new Alpinestars Plasma 5 vest instead.

Seid über einen Halbjahr funktioniert die Statistik in der App nicht! Da sollte endlich mal was passieren. Man bezahlt auch dafür. Vielleicht erstmal wieder die alte Version in die App tun, bis die Version funktioniert. Eine sehr schwache Leistung
Updates funktionieren nicht
Die Updates der Software funktionieren quasi nie bei den ersten Versuchen - andauern bricht die Box ab, ohne einen Grund anzugeben

Lost a lot of confidence in the system
The In and Box system seemed to be amazing and it absolutely is, however about 3 months ago a feature of the app, whereby it tracks your millage travelled, was taken down for “improvements”. It’s still down. It’s now making me think that if their developers can’t program a fairly simple part of the app quickly and efficiently then what hope is there for the rest of the system? There is just a message in the app where the feature use to be stating it will be back shortly. However even support has now idea when or even if it will be back. It’s making me question the reliability of the rest of the system which is not a nice feeling to have when you are trusting your life to something!
Tolle App aber
Es ist eine Tolle App und Sie funktioniert super. Allerdings finde ich es schade dass die Funktion nicht verfügbar ist wo man die Statistik sieht wie viele Kilometer man gefahren ist. Diese ist seit Anfang des Jahres (so lange nutze ich sie erst) leider nicht verfügbare.
Immer wieder Probleme mit Netzwerk!
Die App ist an sich Bombe, wenn die Sache mit den Netzwerken nicht wäre. Frisch zum Saison Start mal die SW updaten. Keine Verbindung zum Netzwerk! Wifi gecheckt, ok! Versucht mein Wifi neu hinzuzufügen, kein Erfolg. Selbst mit QR-Scan nix „bitte überprüfen Sie die bereitgestellten Informationen“. Weden 2,4GHz noch 5GHz. Nix funktioniert. Mein Wifi Signal taucht darüber hinaus nur sporadisch in der Liste aller verfügbaren Netzwerke auf. Und um vorweg zugreifen: nein ich war nicht zu weit vom Router entfernt! Ergo hab ich gerade null Chance, meine SW zu updaten, weil sich keine Verbindung aufbauen lässt. Geht das nur mit so? Wird sowas nicht getestet bevor man das auf Produktion deployed? Mega nervend

Einige Funktionen geh schon seit über 6 Monaten nicht mehr. Traurig für einen Betreiber der so viel Geld jeden Monat bekommt

When getting my first In&box I was a little daunted but I needn’t have been, the app guides you through the setup and there are ample YouTube videos demonstrating the process linked in the app!

Für die Installation sehr viel Zeit gebraucht. Viele Abbrüche unlogische Fehlermeldung.
Schönheitsfehler: Persönliche Statistik funktioniert nicht
Ich fahre jeden Tag mit der Weste aber habe sie *zum Glück* noch nicht auf ihre volle Funktion prüfen müssen. Die zugehörige App gibt einen schnellen Überblick über Akkustand, Updates und Funktionsbereitschaft des Airbags. Zudem werden (eigentlich) die monatlich gefahrenen Kilometer angegeben. Das funktioniert bei mir aber leider nicht oder ich hab verballert, das ich das irgendwo einstellen muss, who knows? Auf jeden Fall stehen da bei mir 0 statt der tatsächlichen 1200km, die ich jetzt mit Weste unterwegs war 🤷♀️
Generell OK, aber...
Die App erfüllt grundsätzlich ihren Zweck, allerdings bleiben einige Punkte unklar oder unausgereift: • Keine Unterstützung für 5 GHz-WLAN: Warum wird keine Verbindung über 5 GHz-WLAN ermöglicht? In keiner Anleitung wird erwähnt, dass das Modul ausschließlich 2,4 GHz unterstützt – das ist irreführend. • Fehlende Statistik-Funktion: Seit Monaten ist die Statistik nicht mehr verfügbar. Warum wurde die alte Version nicht beibehalten, bis die neue einsatzbereit ist? • Synchronisationsprobleme: Besonders zu Beginn hatte ich erhebliche Probleme bei der Synchronisation und beim Update. Diese konnten nur mit Unterstützung des (mäßig englischsprachigen) Supports gelöst werden. • Unzuverlässige Router-Verbindung: Ich vermute, dass die häufigen Verbindungsprobleme mit der Einschränkung auf 2,4 GHz und einer instabilen Kommunikation mit dem Router zusammenhängen. Andere Anbieter lösen das deutlich eleganter. Daher aktuell nur 3 Sterne – mit Verbesserungspotenzial bei Transparenz, Stabilität und Benutzerfreundlichkeit.

Super App
Ist wirklich gelungen, das einzigste was nicht zu 100% stimmen, sind die gefahrenen Kilometer. Gestern 323 Kilometer gefahren und keinen davon übernommen.
Kein ein- aus Schalter sichtbar
Der ein- Ausschalter wird in der App nicht angezeigt. Batterie ist voll geladen und die aktuellste Firmware ist drauf. Was kann man tun?

The app is really easy to use, telling you all you need to know about the status of the device. And if you have a spill, the airbag does it’s job!
Miserabel
Die Synchronisation der Box mit der App war schon immer ein Reinfall, aber jetzt geht es GAR NICHT MEHR. Bleibt bei 0 % hängen oder die Box verbindet sich erst gar nicht mit dem wlan.
Good app but…
Does everything it says like checking battery and inflator status but I can’t seem to get it to record my mileage. Today 12th May 2024 - I rode for 45 miles but according to the app I haven’t done any mileage at all. I synced the app before and after my ride and I’ve also uninstalled/re-installed it (twice) and still nothing. Although oddly it has recorded by March mileage which wasn’t there before! Also the Bluetooth function to turn the unit on/off doesn’t work. I’ve got the latest version of the app and my iPhone 14 Plus is up to date. ** Update ** OK the app does turn the unit off/on - but it doesn’t turn it on if the unit has switched itself off.

The app seems a bit buggy to me. Contact form does not work in the app and the widget feature does not seem to be available.

What a terrible people
Bought one piece suite for the track Found I have to pay $120 a year extra just to use it… okay paid it… Only to find that I have to pay extra $96 a year for a track use . Well done got me truly. Advice- avoid they are is savages and scum . If you read this, it is probably too late. If not give you jacket/suite back and go elsewhere.

English translation is good. Had 1 fall and the jacket worked perfectly. Only 4 * because I can’t get synchronisation to work!
In Verbindung mit Held Airbag System
Hallo ich verwende die App in Verbindung mit dem Held eVest System. Die App scheint mir noch im Anfangsstadium zu sein. Kleinere Übersetzungsfehler. Die Hauptfunktion der App ist die Verwaltung des Abos, Update für den Algorithmus und die Akku Anzeige. Denke das funktioniert soweit, wenn auch nicht grafisch ansprechend. Toll wäre es wenn sich die Weste automatisch mit dem Handy verbinden würde. Zum Beispiel ist die App im Hintergrund geöffnet und fährt man Motorrad, aktiviert sich die Weste ja automatisch, so fern diese im standby ist. Dann könnte sie aich die Verbindung zum Handy per Bluetooth aufbauen. Zusätzlich wäre ein Querformat (landscape) Modus sinnvoll, da viele hier Handy sicher quer am Motorrad verbauen. Sicher kann ich mehr Während der nächsten Motorradsaison berichten.

Poor app and support
Don’t usually leave a review, but really disappointed with this. Even after selecting English as the preferred language on this (and the website) a bunch of it is in French. Emailed support about an issue using the online form, nothing heard…(I’m not calling an international number for support too). The subscription page is buggy, if you select ‘OK’ instead of ‘next’ it messes the process up and unable to go back into it. Says order received. Then got an email saying payment has failed…for what, the subscription or box order? It doesn’t have an order attached to the email and the box is sent for free anyway? Yet the order appears/may has gone through on the app/site. Says ‘here is the delivery tracking of your parcel’ —with nothing there. Just everything is unnecessarily confusing, with a lack of support, when I need the box for racing this weekend…annoyed.

When you press buttons nothing happens. Can’t cancel your membership in app or on website and customer support do not respond.
Gute App, Lokalisierung verbesserungsbedürftig
App tut was sie soll, funktioniert sauber. Bitte an der Lokalisierung arbeiten. Ich verstehe, dass es ein französisches Produkt ist, aber bei europaweiter Vermarktung wären qualitative Übersetzungen sowohl in der App als auch der Videos und Release-Notes nach Englisch evtl. auch Deutsch super und eigentlich Standard.

With a sensible price , this is now a piece of equipment I couldn’t ride without. Hopefully I’ll never fully test it !

Appalling support especially for a safety product. Contacted customer services who washed their hands of me as I don’t have access to a PC. Just a useless piece of junk now. I’d advise paying the extra for Alpinestars.
