- It messed up my phone contacts
The Stranger
This is one of those apps that will blow folks mind!!! They are so amazed when a Stranger picks their card, you hear them talking about it as you leave. You know they are still telling everyone days, weeks later!!! The only way I close my show!!!
Rip off
The Diverter app from elusionist is so much better and cheaper
After some problems to sign up now seems ok
Just like the title
Subscription
The concept is a classic and the attention to detail is good. Developer support is quick and professional. The effect allows you to have a stranger identify which card your audience [freely] selected... and it excels at this. Unfortunately, using someone from your contact list [rather than ‘the stranger’] is an in-app purchase and monthly subscription for the same effect. Clarified: A friend can be called without the “in-app purchase”, however the effect is then one you can do without needing the Stranger app at all (hence the missing stars).
UGGGhhHhh
Well, it was good from the start, but then after a while it got weird. I just came back to the app today and I clicked on it. I was about to perform to my friend on a zoom meeting. But then guess what? When I tried to set up the playing card revelation, it said to purchase the card revelation. IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING! So I deleted it then reinstalled it, and I tried to sign back in. But it didn’t let me! It said my email had already been used blah blah blah. So this app is good for the revelations and the reactions, but having to purchase the only one that was once free? That’s messed up.
The best magic related app ever!
The title is very strongly worded but it is absolutely true! It is one of the best apps made for magic ever Jonathan is the best when it comes to giving support is is amazing!
Problem
I have purchased the app, but app doesn’t work. Please give me refund my money
This stranger screwed up my contacts
This app appears interesting but it’s screwed up my contacts. Even after deleting the application and my affected contacts then re-entering them, it’s still is screwed up. It would be very nice to hear from the developer as I have emailed and texted a few times.
Fantastic App!
I love The Stranger App! Jonathan has created a fantastic app that makes performing a miracle easy to do! This can be a live phone call or with a pre-recorded conversation with a “Stranger” naming an audience member’s selected or named card. The added convincers make this impossible effect believable in the eyes of your spectators. Jonathan is constantly improving the app with regular updates. I have had this from the beginning and have seen it evolve into a fantastic way to blow your audience’s minds! Jonathan has added so many incredible features since he first put The Stanger out. The Pro Version takes this to the next level and beyond! In addition to all that, Jonathan Levit’s customer service and dedication to this app is incredible! (The best in the business) One of my best purchases...It gets my highest recommendation!
The Stranger…a true reputation maker!!
The Stranger is by far my favorite effect to perform either in casual situations or for paid gigs and the reason is simple, I’m sure to get each time a standing ovation! What I also like are all these different ways to present it, just my phone using a recording for those totally impromptu occasions, right on the spot, or by using a live stranger via FaceTime for more interaction with my audience. We’re also not limited to a card reveal, it could be a word, a time, a birthday or a combination of those, even a drawing duplication using some extra props. I should also mention the integration with several famous magic apps. Another thing that I absolutely love is the community of strangers ready to help each other and the top notch customer service provided by Jonathan Levit. Bottom line, you can’t go wrong with the Stranger. I barely never write reviews but The Stranger definitely worth it.
The stranger
What a terrific product. There are so many effects that you can do. This app seamlessly interacts with other apps making it look like you can do real miracles. As for customer support, there is none better than this creator. When I was having a problem he personally called me and talked me through it. He answers every question personally, quickly and effectively. This app is consistently being updated showing how the creator cares for his creation. I wish all apps were this good and had this kind of support. Thank you
More than a trick!
The Stranger is an absolute BEAST of a utility device. Able to fit in every performing environment. Adaptable to a myriad of presentations. As much fun for the performer as it is for the audience. You will be looking for an excuse to call strangers!!!
Magical!
This is really an astonishing magic app. It is incredibly versatile and incorporates several other popular apps. You will not regret this purchase. Not to mention that the developer, Jonathan Levit is simply incredibly supportive and frequently has “deep dives” to explain the power of this app. Don’t hesitate if you want to absolutely want to amaze!!
You need this app
Possibly the greatest mentalism effect ever created. You need this like yesterday. Great support from Johnathon.
The plot of “The Wizard” for 21st-century
We all know the plot of calling a “wizard“ to divine an audience member’s selected card. This is a utility that puts that plot on steroids. Well thought out and consistently evolving with new ideas, Jonathan Levit has created some thing that every magician who has a cell phone, should have. Once you go through the tutorial and with a little practice (brush up on your acting skills), you’re good to go. And you become a member of the Stranger Community in which your fellow magicians are more than willing to help you in your performance and you in theirs. Most important: excellent customer service, which is really short supply these days. Thank you, Jonathan.
Destroyed my mother-in-law
I’d pay 10 times the price of this app to see my mother-in-law, who thinks she can figure out any trick, lose her mind again like she did when she saw Stranger!
