- Beautiful art and soothing music.
What they complain about

- Expansion rules are hard to learn.
Do it
You won’t regret it
I want a refund
What is this? Horrible game.
Almost perfect
I love everything about this game but it doesn’t seem to register when another player takes their turn. Im playing on an iPad and I have to exit the game and refresh for every single turn I take so see what the other player did. It ruins the whole experience. Otherwise I’d give this 5 stars
Slow online games
When playing online games, the turns take forever to get through. It’s as if the app freezes between every turn. Please fix!
I LOVE this game, BUT very buggy.
We have had the card game for years now and it’s great having a mobile version as well. I’m really disappointed at how many game breaking issues there are though. A lot of the foray cards don’t actually work, for example: Using, I chose 4 cards of the same cool value (two different types of mushroom) and the game highlights them, but I’m unable to cook them. There are a number of similar issues I keep running into and it’s ruining the game for me. PLEASE fix this!! It’s been 4 years since the last update and there is clearly some work to do!
Best board game for 2!
Very strategic competitive game. My husband and I play it daily - it’s our favorite. The app is nice for playing the AI, but the physical version is great for couple’s.
Broken online mode
Online play does not work at all
Online play slow.
24 hours to play your turn is too long. One game can take weeks. Limit the time to 30 seconds so each player has to stay vested in the game until it’s complete.
Great Game but Cannot Get Online Friends to Work
I love this game, but my wife and I cannot get online play to work. We both are using IPad pros with the latest IOS software updated. Hoping for some assistance from developers here...thanks!
Needs some updates
Please fix the home bar issue and the online play. This would be 5 stars if those issues were fixed!
Awesome pass and play game
My favorite to play against a friend pass and play. The computer is okay too
Great game, but doesn’t follow rules for a tie
I love this two person game. But the app doesn’t follow the printed rules for a tie. Whoever cooks the most mushrooms in total - breaks the tie and wins. Please update the app to reflect this.
Wonky tonk app
Fixes that need to happen for 5 stars: Rainforest system displays cards cut off. Pan system is annoying and takes up your hand without app auto using the pan in your hand should be set as default. You can’t use butter and cider extras together at same time. Shiitake log doesn’t always create shiitake bonus after cooking.
Entertainment and education in one
I’ve been playing this since testing the beta version, along with the physical card game, as well. For as straightforward as it is, a satisfying level of strategy is involved to make for a truly fun experience that can be enjoyed by young and old alike.
Wonderful game!
Morels is a fantastic card game that is so enjoyable! Everything about the game feels laid back and relaxing, but it also has depth and complexity for anyone seeking a challenge. The games are not long, which is great because you can always find time to play, and you keep getting better because you improve a little every game. The art, music and sound is also wonderfully done. I’ll never get tired of how satisfying it sounds to sell, grab and cook the mushrooms. Things to improve iPad Pro bar - The iPad Pro home screen bar covers the names of the cards in your hand. This is annoying and it would be great to see an update that fixes this. If this were fixed I would give it five stars!
I prefer Jaipur
Very similar to Jaipur. Jaipur has a campaign for solo play so I prefer it plus its easier to understand. Both games need WIN/LOSS records vs ai.
Great game, more players please
I love this game, but could you all give it away for free for a short period of time so there are more users in the mix.
Great card game and great app
Simple to learn, but really interesting decisions to make great implementation and soothing music
Great Game
Was finally able to connect with my girlfriend on a spiritual level after playing this game either her. Recommended for any lonelies out there
Love love love — please add Foray tutorial!
This game is the best and it’s so fun to complete the Game Center challenges. I want to keep playing and added the Foray expansion but it is really hard to learn / annoying to toggle to the manual every time. Please complete the app and add a tutorial!!!
Morels
I have never reviewed a game. I tend to lose interest. However Morels has me captivated. Games are quick and a blend of mostly strategy and some luck. It requires thinking, but is relaxing. I love it!
Awesome game with iffy expansion implementation
Liked this game but the expansion cards are quite complicated and the only way to remind yourself what they do is to open the manual every time. There needs to be a much easier way to see what the special cards do. Thanks!
Fun but Foray doesn’t work
I paid for Foray but when I play it is still just the basic game.
Good game with tough AI
Mushroom hunting is fun against a tough AI. A bit more luck than I like in the card draws drops it one star.
This is a winner!
Very relaxing and fun, was pleasantly surprised. Thanks for a reasonably priced game without micro transactions.
Amazing game, 5 stars if one small fix
This game is so well designed and setup. Just having an issue on iPad Pro 12.9” 3rd gen and iPhone X where the home bar is covering the text of my cards and makes it unreadable.
Great game
This game is fun, AI is pretty good, versus mode is also great. You can play with someone else in real time but it also allows for correspondence play, meaning you can take up to 24 hours per move. Great for playing multiple games at once. Good work. This is a great app.
Bug fix needed but still a good game
Love this game. Super addictive. Only problem is the option to start games and play with friends doesn’t work. This really needs to be fixed. Whole reason I got the game was to play against people I know. Bug fix needed on this. All that said, still fun even though I’m playing mostly with AI and it seems to know before all the good cards come out. 😂
